Former edd teamie, vigilante is not easy. My baby was on admission for high levels of jaundice for 5days. The first day I was away from her I cried myself to sleep, my sister who slept in my room said I kept crying and muttering in my sleep. . She is back home now so vigilante has started proper. Why not make the pap super thick at first so when you add the formula you can then add water a spoon at a time to lighten it up if required. Or you mix the formular with a small bit of water ( just enough to make it liquid) and add to the pap.

Also for feeding bottle, you will either need to make it watery enough to pass through your current teat..... or...... cut the teat to make a bigger hole so it is easier to come out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'd just make a bigger teat. There would never be an ogi voltron like my MIL n. She's been on it since day one. The baby is too slim-what she needs is pap. The baby is getting too fat- please give her pap. The baby is playing too much- What she needs is pap. The baby is crying a lot-Give her pap. The baby has an ear infection- It's because you've not given her pap. She has a way of just linking everything to pap. I'm so scared of starting work with her still around cuz of her old school methods it's been 4 months already and I hear she's staying 4 months more

I went for a nearby pastor's baby dedication in early July so, he told me that i will take in that July but i was almost 9weeks gone already so, i just said amen.

Last week my neighbour called me to say the pastor is angry wt me.
I say maka why?
She said d pastor said I've not come to say thank you & to tell him that God has done it meanwhile, his own prophesy came late.
So, she said she confronted him that someone said something abt John's miracle conception b4 him cos she was standing by when the man that prophesied abt John passed
He respesonded by saying that the prophesy only came when he said it.
I almost told my neighbour that i was abt 9weeks when he prophesied but don't want her to start coynting Edd for me so, i just kept mute nd was looking at her.
Finally, she said the pastor now said that he can do & undo]. I almost ran mad when she said that part but chose to be still

omg I swear I know this pastor or are all of them now giving try your luck prophesy looking for who to come and sow seed. I'd say don't go just for the fact that he added the part about how he can do and undo. Pastors these days sounding like native doctors. Mtcheeew

If you're giving pap in a bottle you need to open the tip more. Use a flea knife or a new scissors and cut the tip a bit. That way it flows better.

Also you may want to make it a bit lighter too

Thanks a lot for this. I made it very light but my SIL told me I always have to cook the pap if it's for baby dunno if that's true. I sha cooked it and that thickened it a bit then the formula. Also Do you think three spoons of milk is ok for one hundred and fifty ml

U gat to use ur discretion on formula measurement based on d qty of pap u'll prepare 4 ur lo. IMO, I'll start wth d measurement I used for lo's cereal, taste it 2 check weda the formula is sufficient n den feed ur lo n watch ur lo's facial expression.

Thanks I've given her. I added 3 spoons of formula to 150 ml of pap. Hope that's not too much cuz my baby loved the pap a little bit too much. Someone that's a professional spitter promptly forgot how to spit. If I remove spoon from her mouth for a second to get more pap she would throw a tantrum. But it's so messy. Her clothes and mine and my bedsheets all need changing . She ate about 50ml before I gave up. I tried feeding her from a bottle but the formula made the pap thicker and it's not really coming out from the nipple.

Thanks Its a family member that makes the pap. She claims she put ginger tho I can't taste any ginger. I just want to try and see if baby would even like pap if she does I'd have hers made specially. Also how do I know how much formula to add to the pap

Yes They mopped mine so well that there was only very little bleeding post delivery so it's a good thing and no big deal [s]except they forget one of their cleaning pads inside there[/s]

Ive tried different nipples still the same reaction. It's like she's just forgotten how to. I'd try formula with cup and spoon but formula is so watery that would take eternity

Biko Zaynie and other mamas can I give pap to a four month old. I'm tired of trying to get her to suck from a bottle she's just not having it. I'm thinking of trying pap and feeding her with a spoon. Also the pap is currently have is dawa the brown pap and it has little ginger can i give her that

She continued taking the formula till 8days ago when she started spitting it out to concentrate on breast milk.. Plz I want to try another formula, am thinking she just doesn't like the SMA anymore.

NB: She's 2weeks and three day today

my baby had to take formula (NAN1) for a few weeks cuz breastmilk supply was poor, she started rejecting formula as soon as I started breastfeeding well. Many babies do this, I don't think it's because of the kind of family. If you milk supply has improved and you can do it, maybe you should switch to exclusive breastfeeding, if not don't let her defeat you, give someone else to feed her too.

baby tribotan is good. Since she's fleshy it might be heat rashes caused by folds in the neck. Buy agnesia powder and make sure the area is never wet by applying constantly. You can use tribotan morning and night and use agnesia all through the day.

It really hurt's to even swallow spite is a problem and its accompanied with headache though before it started I saw my doc and ran malaria test and urinalysis and there was one plus malaria and a trace of protain in my Urine and he prescribed coatem and amioxil 500mg which I have not started taking bit I urgently need the throat remedy. Note:I am doing EBF

try strepsil for the sore throat. There's one strepsil that contains honey and paracetamol or something. You can also drink a tablespoon full of palm kernel oil it feels good on the throat

I have tried that too.I wish you could see me breastfeeding.how I try to put even the black part in his mouth it only gets better when he has sucked for a while.I have also tried to hold his head to the nipples so that he gets the whole of it.it is even worst.he sucks with so much energy and when I try to remove the nipple to see if he is not properly positioned so I could reposition him,he will grab it even harder

keep putting everything. It can't last forever. One day you would be breastfeeding and realize you don't feel pain. Sorry

mummy Jazzyjazz and all mummies that used nipple shield pls come my aid. my nipples are still sore and painful after one month of delivery.I have applied breastmilk around the tips and try to pull nipple out before baby sucks all to no avail.I have asked my hubby to get me nipple shield.am I on the right track? will it prevent baby from sucking my nipples directly in future? will my tips heal when I use it? pls don't read and pass.I cry each time I breastfeed

Are you sure baby is latching correctly. Make sure the whole black part of your breast is in the baby's mouth not just the niple. I never used niple shield but I read here that it helps
