PoliticsWhy Gombe State Governor Is Better Than The APC Gobernatorial Aspirant By Far! by GideonG(op): 11:31am On Apr 09, 2015
Comparing Inuwa Yahaya and Dankwambo is like comparing Isa Yuguda and Muazu in the neighboring and mother state, Bauchi. It is always paramount to learn how to learn from other people's mistake rather than to learn from our own mistakes which might be too late.

20 years to come whose legacy of work will be of immense memorable? I cannot totally discredit Isa Yuguda but I feel Muazu did some tremendous work that stands to benefit the entire state for plenty years to come compare to Isa Yuguda who's got more opportunity to transform the state.

Jama'an Gombe Don Allah, kada mu sake rashe mu kama ganye. The power is in our hands to choose the right leader with great accountability and transparency to build our state with so much high quality that will stand the test of time. A good additional four years under Dankwambo will make Gombe top among other states in this current dispensation. People's lives will be greatly improved with necessary social amenities, education and infrastructural development.

Only God gives power and we are particularly grateful to God for giving us General Muhammadu Buhari as the president-elect of the federal republic of Nigeria. We have no doubt in our minds that Nigeria is going to be better and we the people of Gombe state can not afford to be stationary. This is not a moment of partisan politics, it's a transitional moment in the history of Nigeria so we are out to support only the best candidates irrespective of the party, in so doing, we will contribute greatly towards the success of our darling state.

Let us not vote APC in Gombe just because of Buhari, Buhari and Inuwa Yahaya are two different personalities and both have different influences surrounding them, since we gave it to Buhari, let us also give it to Dankwambo to make the equation balanced, making us a state with smart and intelligent individuals for we know what is really the best for us and we will not allow any sentiments or prejudice to take us backward.

I may not be far too wrong if I told you that I probably supported Buhari more than you did because I went extra mile to donate to his campaign at the earliest stage and I also influenced many others to do the same. I also went further ahead to spend weeks programming a complete web application website for Buhari which was quite useful to thousands of other Nigerians including many other things too numerous to mention. I am saying this to implore you to have a rethink before heading to the polls and vote Dankwambo whether you supported Buhari or Goodluck in the presidential election because whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well and the only way we can contribute to the general success of our communities is to cast our vote for the best candidate and make us advance forward. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO TIME TO WASTE WE REALLY HAVE TO MOVE FORWARD AND DANKWAMBO'S CONTUINITY IS AN ASSURANCE.

Dankwambo is not perfect, no body is perfect, we all have our flaws as humans, Dankwambo has his flaws too, but it's really good that he is learning to amend his flaws which I believe will make it up for us in the remaining years to come by the special grace of God. Let's endeavor to give him a chance.

We are grateful for the relative peace we've been enjoying so far, apart from the Boko Haram attacks here and there which is a national issue, we don't want our hospitals filled with area boys with cuts in the name of YAN KALARE. Together we can make Gombe State a better place for the benefit of ourselves, the younger generation and the future generation in years to come. The power is in our hands, let's think deep and act very wisely because four years is not four days, and it's not four weeks and not even four months. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE DANKWAMBO, YOU CAN'T COMPARE THEM!

ALLAH YA BA MU SA'A, AMIN!
EducationRe: Most Beautiful University In Northern Nigeria! What Do U Think? by GideonG(m):
Yeah that's my state, and we have one of the most intellectual governor, the former accountant general of the federation.
He works just like Fashola.
We have both Federal and State universities here, and in Gombe almost everybody goes to school contrary to the beliefs of some southerners that people don't go to school.

Though every one is going to those universities, I prefer Unilorin, because I deserve to be better by far!

I applied computer science and scored 205.
Is it true that the post utme is going to be on English, Biology, Maths, Current Affairs and Aptitude test?
And is it also true that the questions will be taken from past jamb questions?

PenSoftCorp:
guys, federal uni like unilorun no be beans ooh. i remember 4yrs ago when i wrote my post ume for unaab which is also a federal uni(but not as sought after like unilorun), 22,000 people wrote that post ume, but they picked not up to 1,500 people, now from my rough estimation, not less than 40,000 people will write unilorin post ume.
my best advice to u is dat, the secret behind post ume is that questions are majorly jamb past questions, if i were u, i would start preparing right now.
the only thing that has been helping me academically is "preparation", i make sure none of my peers prepare more than me, i make sure dere is nothing nobody else knows that i dont know, even that helped me in the place where i am currently doing my IT, out of 1,200 people, i was priviledged to be among the less than 20 people that were chosen cos i made sure i prepared more than anybody else, and PUT GOD FIRST.
Thanks I'm really grateful

EducationRe: Am About Dropping Out Of School, Should I Go Ahead?? Pls Ur Advice Is Needed by GideonG(m): 11:15am On Mar 15, 2015
Don't make that mistake!

I was once in your shoes...

I got admitted in 2004 to study petroleum engineering, I started perfectly till 2008 when I left after much contemplation and deliberations exactly like what you are doing. I was suppose to go somewhere in the UK to study but everything failed.

I lost everything and I've been on the street, I suffered! I probably know computer programming more than you because I have developed countless web apps in both PHP and Python couple with other frameworks. I have developed four android apps. I know Java, Python , Javascript and PHP very well, I tried my possible best to make it but to no avail. I left University in 2008 about 6-7 yrs later after trying so many thing things, ventures and stuff, now yesterday I wrote Jamb and passed with 205, aspiring to go to Unilorin to study Computer Science.

I am now 31yrs old! And will go back to school by 32 (Though I can claim 5-7yrs younger because I don't look it at all). So I will graduate btw 35/36.

No matter what you will pass through, stay in school. The world out there is a different thing, it's not as easy as it's seems. I saw hell! I went through a lot. I am from Gombe but I pray I make it to Unilorin this year cos I deserve to be "better by far". ***Probitas Doctrina**** May God help us all!

Is that the only problem you have with GMB?

how does contributing one thousand for a man who wants to stabilize world oil price make him a true nigerian? huh
It's not about the amount, it's about the mindset behind it.

ProgrammingRe: UKCIG - How Can Convert HTML Website To PHP? by GideonG(m): 1:40pm On Aug 11, 2014
Just as dhtml18 said, just change the extensions of your files from ".html" to ".php"
for example index.html should be changed to index.php

Secondly, any where in your file you want to use PHP functionality just put the opening and the closing tags of PHP
<?php Your PHP Script here... ?>

You can as well ask this same question on stackoverflow, quora and any concentrated android community.
Search extensively on google and open all the relevant pages on the first page of Google.
You can get whatever you want if your desire is very strong to the extend of doing some internet researches and using site like Stackoverflow, Quora and of course Nairaland!

You can use it to do anything.

Your Ram is only ur random access memory, I think I doesnt affect your 32bit or 64bit. I stand to be corrected though.
