The husband's words got to me. |
The no. 1 rule globally in the armed forces is; never be separated from your I.D card, it saves you a world of troubles. I believe Bassey broke the sacred law and ended up getting cuffed by "Men in Black". |
normaljenny:you must be from Abia State. |
I never knew such was obtainable anywhere in my very own Anambra State. The list came from a town in Awka South LGA. |

I've always believed that exorbitant marriage requirements were exclusive to Imo and Abia States. The ''marriage list'' our prospective in-laws gave us dissproved that believe.

theoldpretender:Thanks bro. I had the Soviet sputnik in mind right there (space shuttle). I didn't actually know the exact year it was made. Once again, thanks a lot. |
I've always found people's reaction to issues such as this highly disturbing. I remember arguing with a friend back in school over a picture of Hirochima as at 1944, he insisted there was no way the skyscrappers in the pics were real. What is the big deal about a bulletproof car as at 1941, Advanced aircrafts were already in use then, People already had steady power, nations already had space shuttles and finally, skyscrapppers were already old news, advanced naval destroyers already existed. Submarines nkọ, everywhere. |
We die here! INEC must finish this election work today-today.

"I am sure all well-meaning Nigerians share your deep seated concern on the militarisation of our elections. It is therefore imperative your good office and commission ensure, henceforth, and until there is an enabling Act of the National Assembly, the court orders are obeyed and armed forces personnel are never again deployed in any form of security supervision of our elections.” February 16, 2015. Director, Legal Services of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume (SAN) https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/apc-writes-jonathan-jega-on-using-military-for-elections/ Ironic, isn't it? |

We die here!...the guy try well-well biko.

If there's any arm of our military i trust it's definitely gonna be The Nigerian Navy, you don't see them messing around. |
I've seen people who fear that Pr Buhari might take things personal with Obj, truth is; if you understand the dynamics of our military world you'll know that it's beyond Pr Buhari's control. |
Sportwin:An Airman is used for every personnel of the Airforce (officer or not), even civil pilots. It's a global term though in some nations it's also a rank in the Airforce like in the USAF. The word ''ratings'' in the military parlance simply means NON-OFFICER, in simple nigerian term it means RECRUIT. Hope u know what OFFICER means? Hope this helps. |
Ximenez:Sir/Madam If there's anything wrong with the sentence I made just go right ahead and point it out politely, your subliminal jab doesn't help at all. |
From one dictator to another. |
Food for thought.

Why miss the club, Chelsea has been reduced to a playground for a bunch of overpaid kids.... |
Food for thought.

Sir. 1.The term "Civil responsibility" isn't an exclusive reserve for civilians only. 2.Military/para-military personnels do vote provided they're not on essential duty 3.Personnels that want to vote must do so in civilian clothing/mufti If you're not convinced, i advice you read up the -Nigerian Ministry of Defence 2019 Elections declearations- By Brig. Gen John Agim |
The fact that we still need to sign a "peace accord" is in itself a shame and indicative of how backward we're as a people. |
Was he speaking as a prophet or a citizen simply giving his own analysis of thing?.....i guess the former should be the case. |
When will people stop equating pics like this one to acceptance...is it that we never learn from the past. |
If u understand the dynamics at play in our defence sector then you'll know there's more to this than meets the eye. |
Thank goodness our V.P is unscathed,we just got spared a golden-globe class drama..... I'll rather he exit the stage honourably after elections. |
Truth is; the only set of people that can criticized PMB without fear of reprove remains his senior colleagues in the military, his hands are tied when it comes to them....it's an unbreakable code. |
Hate them all you want but ASUU is the only reason we still have a functional Public tertiary education system in this country. |
dokie:Are you telling me?....I'm an easterner based in Kaduna, first time I came here (2016) during my I.T I nearly wept, youths of my age can't communicate in English (as in, to understand "come" , my experience (with a teenager) one day inside ABU main campus stands out as the most heart wrecking....Mind you, Kaduna is supposedly the most tushed part of d north. |
Is it that we have a flawed yardstick for measuring administrative success or are we just inherently bigoted....what indices is this gov campaigning with, I'm no PDP fan but the naked truth needs to be told. ''Your Excellency you have done a lot to the people of Borno, you love Borno more than your home state of Katsina'' If a Nigerian from Borno, made the above statement then we're indeed beyond redemption. |
