NairaLuck: Please I want to understand, do you need to pay to have an Express entry profile or you can just create one? Or is the payment done when you get an invitation to apply ITA? Please go to page 1 and spend a few minutes reading there. You'd find your answer and more. Regards |

I have chosen to change the NOC. Thanks for your help. Dimple10: I don’t have strength to type too much. See screenshot from our very own page 1 and cic website.
@gidobaba see reason why i said NOC C is not eligible. Please confirm before going forward.

Dimple10: NOC C doesn’t qualify for express entry so check again because It’s either 0,A or B.
Unless your profession is regulated and you need a certificate to continue practicing in Canada, i’ll say ignore the requirements. Put the year you Graduated university as the year you first qualified.
Also ensure that your actual job description matches that of the NOC you choose not just job title. Well noted. Thanks bro |

Hello Fam,
I need your help with choosing the right NOC.
I'm an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in the marine Industry and NOC 7242 best suits my job duties to about 90%. This is NOC C and it is eligible for express entry as well.
My fears now are the employment requirements. it says I need to have undergone some apprenticeship for a couple of years before I'm qualified.
I didn't do any apprenticeship or training but my Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering qualifies me for the job here.
Filling my profile and I'm on that field that asks when I first qualified to work in that capacity. I don't know if I'm to put the year I earned my degree or not since I don't have any apprenticeship training.
Should I ignore what's on the "employment requirements" ?
I'm puzzled. Please help me out. Thanks |

Please house has anyone used this electronic transcript guys https://www.etx.ng. wes recommended them on her website.
What is the experience like? Sent them a message on WhatsApp for about 12hrs no response |

mbhs139: Good morning all.
Please, if the purpose of wanting to reach out to me is to help you send anything from here, kindly be notified that neither WES nor Service Canada are accepting any hard copy paper documents for now until further notice. In fact, I wanted to send a phone to Lagos yesterday at Canada Post and they said no, until further notice WES is receiving hardcopy documents. My transcripts were sent through DHL on Wednesday 4th of June 2020 last week. WES received it on Monday the 8th of June 2020 |

babajust: Hi Fam, Is there anyone waiting on WES? It appears like WES isn't currently working with transcripts sent via courier as they are still requesting that transcript should be sent via ETX-NG. I know about 6 people who already sent their transcripts via courier and now hanging at this stage. Do I have to do the ETX-NG transcript processing as well or just wait until they acknowledge the one sent via courier? The annoying thing is that WES isn't responding to their DM and I learnt the ETX-NG is very slow. Please, anyone who has experienced this should shed light. WES is still accepting and working on transcripts sent via courier mail. It may take longer time because they have fewer hands at the office and the travel restrictions may delay the movement of your documents to Canada. |

I got a reply from WES after enquiring from them how my institution can send my transcripts to them electronically and they told me to get my school to ask them that themselves via the "contact us" on their site. Apparently, they only want to communicate with the school directly and they expect the school to establish communication first. Anyways, my school refused and insisted WES must contact them first. I taya for their matter. |

bellong: Look at both electrical and electronics engineering qualification to identifying which matches your job descriptions more. You can apply for what matches your job descriptions more out of the two.
You don't need to send email to EA. The assessment is based on your job descriptions and not necessarily the work environment.
You should have requested for a remark of your writing. Very close to a 20 point score except for the writing. Thanks for your response. I didn't take the IELTS test seriously because I felt it was too easy as I have so much confidence in my English. However, I made a few mistakes in my writing task 2. I believe the 7.5 I got in writing is fair enough to be honest. |

ajayidebo: You've done your homework.
If you can prove that your job description is that of an Electrical Engineering, go for it. Mind you, letter of appointment, promotion letters, reference letter etc. are required to prove this. Also, Vetassess may or may not contact your employer to verify accordingly.
Let me add that the fact that you work on the ship as an engineer makes you a SHIP engineer and not an Electrical Engineer. I may be wrong tho. I'll advice you contact EA via msa @ engineers Australia. org. au for further clarification.
Other experts should advice @bellong @tunlex01 Thank you very much. I'll send EA a mail as you've suggested. |

ajayidebo: Can't find Seafarer on ANZSCO list. I'll advice you go though the list and check if any occupation is related to what you do. If your occupation or closely related occupation is not on ANZSCO list, there's no way you can do assessment and subsequently, you'll have to look for other means of migration. Thanks for your response. I'm an Engineer on the ship and I checked the list and found "Ship's Engineer" with the code 231212. However it shows I'm only eligible for visa class 482, 187, 494. Basically my job on the ship is Electrical/Electronic Engineering. When I put Electrical Engineering on the ANZSCO i found out that I'm eligible for all visa classes. What do you advise? |

Mamaroon: Simulate your CRS scores with 2 degrees instead of BSc or professional degree. If favorable, do a second degree, CIMA, BCS to get points as applicant with 2 degrees.
Pls use search bar for details. I just simulated with 2 degrees and it puts me at 474. I'll look into the other options that you suggested. Thank you!! |

Good day comrades. I'm a seafarer and I want to get Canada PR through the Express entry program. I have written my IELTS and had L8.5 R8.5 S8.0 W7.5 making an 8.0 overall score. I have a B.Sc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and I also have a Certificate of Competence called Class Two Electro-Technical Officer which enables me practise in that capacity in my profession as a seafarer.
I used the CRS calculator and was able to garner 441 points when using only my B.Sc but when I chose the masters/professional certification option I was above 480 points.
The painful thing is that WES said they do not evaluate professional certifications meaning I can't use it in my application.
I'm confused and don't know how to go about it. Is there any way I can go around this?? |

Thanks AFONAMARO: Have you tried reading Deu 14:22 down? Tithes are meant for the following'sj
1. Levites 2. Widows. 3. Orphans and 4. Strangers in your land.
Mind you, you are to share(partake) with the levite, and not hand over your tithe to him. |
