I think the truth of all this nonsense would certainly blow open no matter how suppressed....how can one justify deportation in the same country and call it a new name 'family reunion'.....now see the series of chain reaction this is causing......is this the pattern of how APC administration is going to look like when they finally win next election?....fashola should be careful of his actions cause the way he runs his government would be an insight into APC fate in the next elction

I do mind very much and I have yet to give you permission to do so, so don't thank me yet.
You may refer to yourself as such however.

Education and the abundance of SECONDARY SCHOOLS is less important in an underdeveloped country with little job prospects after graduation.

Upgrading existing secondary schools and perhaps adding a few extra schools in target areas, and providing goods roads to facilitate transportation to and from these schools would have sufficed.

You are the type of person nigerian leaders like; those who, like them, have trouble focusing on the big picture.
Mrs know all......now without basic education who's gonna work in that your job creation, and who's gonna have the knowledge to create and manage a job well, on the contrary underdeveloped countries needs basic education to be creative inother to develop itself, people shouldnt wait for government to creat jobs for them all the time education can develop your mind to creat a job for yourself thereby reducing unemployment....
for on your point about roads and electricity, BASIC EDUCATION is very important.
every government has his plan and road map on how to govern, maybe this guy just want to start with education and gradually take it up from there touching every other needs.....remember this is just 2yrs into his administration don't be so critical.......

now the game is getting interesting.....this is the point in a game of chess where your pawns becomes useless....lol even standing in the way of a key move of an official in a chess game, MUSTAFA, this is not the best way to handle situations like this, writing a public letter to humiliate the president....there are mild ways to turn down an offer even if there is...
I bet if GEJ wins his second tenure he would become more hardened by these kind of display

my man if you like go for a McDonald's franchise, your biz will fail if u don't give attention to the kinds of hands and staffs who man your biz.......you ur biz is death on arrival, that is the number one killer of bussiness, and that's what is killing Mr Biggs,, saucy, lousy and rude staffs that give little attention to customers. get a good and well trained staff in customer relationship, and more so try and monitor their performances regularly.....and always take every little complain of a customer serious and treat them as such, applying all this would grow your biz even if its mamaput your opening

Politics / Nigerians Blast Yerima, Other Senators Over ‘child Marriage’ Law by gidson12(m): 8:12am On Jul 21, 2013
Nigerians blast Yerima, other
senators over ‘child marriage’ law
Massive protests have continued to trail the
Senate’s passage of a resolution to retain the
provision of Section 29 (4) (b) of the 1999
Constitution. Under the section, a married
underage girl is deemed to be an adult.
Prominent Nigerians and human right
organisations took to the social media to
protest what they described as legalisation of
sexual abuse of underage girls.
The protests were held in parts of the country
on Saturday such as Abuja and Lagos among
others. Also, petitions were signed to protest
the law.
The protesters might besiege all state Houses
of Assembly and the National Assembly on
Tuesday to call on the Senate to reverse itself.
Those who protested queried why underage
Nigerians could not exercise their franchise at
the poll but were being subjected to marriage
at tender age.
On Twitter, several petition handles were
created on Saturday, where users condemned
the Senate position.
Lagos-based pastor and motivational speaker,
Sam Adeyemi, twitted, “If Islam permits
something that the rest of the country and
many parts of the world feel is detestable, then
it’s a serious issue. We cannot take away from
a Muslim the right to practice his/her religion.”
Former Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nasir
El-Rufai, also twitted, “We need your support.
Please comment on #ChildNotBride. Criminals,
from time, use religion to cloak perversion.”
Two of the many tweets by a former Minister of
Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, read, “We kid
ourselves to think that we can catch up and
compete with the rest of the world, when the
#GirlChild is constrained.
“I got married at 24, after my first post-
graduate. Some think 24 is early but then, I
was ready to make sound decisions.”
Nigerian actress, Omoni Oboli, also twitted, “I
shudder to think I wouldn’t be who I am today,
if some perverts had convinced my parents to
marry me off before I turned 18.”
Nollywood actor, Nonso Diobi, stated, “If she
can’t vote, then she can’t marry. A female child
should be taken to the classroom, not labour
room.”
Broadcaster, Mo Abudu, expressed her
concerns, saying, “My heart is broken by the
news from the Senate on #ChildBrides. This is
not the Africa of 2013.”
Star reggae artiste, Majek Fashek, also said,
“How can a man of 40, 50 or over marry a girl
of 12, 13yrs? What kind of paedophilia is this?”
Eme Ewa of Change.org, an organisation
described as the world’s biggest petition
platform, has written an online petition to the
United Nations, titled, ‘United Nations: Stop
The Nigerian Senate From Making Under-Age
Marriage The Law!’
