Lately, I have summoned the courage to start up a business. I have several business ideas but had being afraid to make the move because of all that is involved. I am ready to do so now but faced with the challenge of getting funds.
I will need about half a million to kick off and don't want to start with loan.

Do I need to write a proposal and submit to my prospective helpers or do I just meet and explain to them. I hope also to raise the fund from family and friends. How do I go about it please.

Am facing similar challenge at the moment. Honestly, nobody is willing to help.
I have been battling for this for years and am not happy about .
I established a business after i lost my banking job, 3 years ago. Paid for rents. All I needed was just funds to buy goods for sale but the banks.
The banks are not helping Mather either. You walk up to a bank for a loan. They ask you to run your account for months to enable them access you.
Then I asked, where do I get the money to run an account in the first place.

The problem with Nigeria is not leadership, the major problem here is insincerity of our leaders.
Both the leaders and the lead are not sincere with the they really want.
Things would naturally change for the better only when we tell ourselves the truth...

Okorocha is a big shame of a Governor. He has lost all credibility and any atom of respect.

Governor Okoroocha's Anointed governorship candidate ( Uche Nwosu ) is his son in-law. Uche Nwosu's running mate is yet another man currently engaged to one of Governor Okorocha's daughters.

Okorocha is running for a senatorial seat while his wife is going for the House of Representative.

The Governor was doing very well before now but suddenly lost focus. Practically all the roads he had rehabilitated are in bad shape. Most times I feel Abia is cursed with bad governors.
This is where I expect IPOB to focus on and other bad performing governors but they are busy chasing shadows.....

Governor Okorocha used to be my mentor but going by recent development in Imo state, I had to retrace my support.
Seems he became power drunk or perhaps, he lost concentration.
His political career in IMO state is doomed.

Unfortunately, these attributes don't make you a good material, either for marriage or relationship. You are just a desperate or more or less a confused lady who doesn't appreciate her worth. Ladies like you make us "men" see ladies as cheap sluts.....

Well done able governor. Please deal with any ipob miscreants caught anywhere across the state. They've been going about threatening innocent citizens across the state to sit at home.
Please let other state governors from the region do the same.

Guy, my candid advice for you:
Never lay a finger on her even she is your wife. You would have a worst case cenerio now that she is not.
If you haven't had sex with her yet, please try and do so when she comes around. Remember I said " try and have". I didn't say force her. Just lure her to it.
When you must have had enough, sit her down and express your good thoughts on her and how she blew it all. Then express your disgust.
You may want to get the phone back from her, since already has another guy. Let the guy take the responsibility.

Am in dare need of help. I lost my job over three weeks ago and without a pay. I used to work as a contract staff in a new generation bank. I have spent over 8 years with them .
I didn't commit any fraud neither did I steal. it was a conspiracy by the management. They felt I was too vocal for their likening .
I have a wife and 4 Kids. I need to go into a business I know too well but I don't have the financial muscle to.
All I need now is anything I can lay my hands on, to enable me put food on the table for my family. Anything at all. Even if its a daily paid job.

Going by cruel policy of Zenith Bank, I honestly think that the fine is just too soft.
What do say of a bank who employ people and keep them stagnant for more than 10 years without any advancement. No salary increment, No benefits, No training, No promotion and worst still no conversion.
Ask what their offences are?? just because they polytechnic graduate.
These set of staff handle their cash ( money) which is the core reason for existence of the bank but yet, they are been sidelined and neglected.
I think is high time these staffs come together and started hitting the bank big time.
That seems to be only when they will be remembered.
They say their bulk tellers (Note Counters) don't use their brains and as such not part of the system but say we say they are fool because we have the master keys to sink the bank.
It's all about the money and we know the way around it.
Its only a question of time but these people must cry some day for the pains and hardship they have made us go through all the years serving them. They must Pay!!!!!!.

Honestly, I don't know who sent you and how much you have been for this write up.
Obviously, you either confused, biased, insensitive or any of both.
No man is a saint and the governors are not Angels. You don't give a dog a bad name just to hang it.
Am from IMO state but lives outside d state. I feel very good and excited each time I step into IMO state.
The transformation is there for you to see but because you have been blinded or blind folded by sentiments and ethnicity, you won't see them.
If other governors had performed the way Rochas had, IMO would've been a better place.
please put sentiment aside and honestly and sincerely assess Rochas's performance so far under just a tenure.

Labour Casualization cut across all industries in Nigeria, in fact we have Organizations that 65% of their employees are Contract staff. What baffles me is that there is no law protecting dis category of workers, not even a line in our weak Labour Law. Too bad.

Honestly, is very terrible and Am indeed very saddened by this development which is gradually becoming a norm in our present day society.
I work in a commercial bank( Zenith Bank precisely). I have been with them for over seven (7) year and till date my salary has never been increased for a kobo.
I have remained stagnant as a bulk teller ( Note Counter) without a promotion, let alone conversation.
I don't enjoy any medicals, security or other benefits being enjoyed by the bank's professional staffs.
And my offence.........
Am a Polytechnic graduate......
The management of Zenith Bank has blatantly refused to listen to us- the contract staffs.
No matter the number of years spent on the job, our interests have never been a priority to them.
Most contract staffs of zenith Bank PLC , especially we the bulk tellers, have spent more than eighteen (18) years on the job with no promotion or conversation.
Today, even most of us with higher qualification are never considered for anything and the reason being that, "we are a product of a Polytechnic".
After several years of begging for due consideration, our Management only advised us to resign and leave the bank if we feel aggrieved and cheated.
Sadly, even though most of us are graduates, we earn same thing or ( pay of N47000) a security and a driver earn.
In Zenith Bank, Bulk Tellers(Note Counters) are employed with OND, while drivers and security men are employed with Waec or O' level results but yet, we earn same pay.
This is very sad and does not tell well of Zenith Bank PLC.
Am very much aware that most banks are relaxing their policies on contract staffing to reflect on modern day realities but it seems Zenith Bank is hell bent on her inhuman policies and modern day slavery practices.
