Nigerians have God to thank for still being in the 2018 World Cup after FIFA sanctioned and docked points from FIFA world cup qualifiers and awarded same to Algeria following Nigeria National Team fielding a suspended player.
FIFA had fined NFF for fielding Shehu Abdullahi against Algeria after he was suspended for a match earlier. FIFA also awarded a 3-0 victory to Algeria, which however did not affect Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup because they had qualified already before the said match.
NFF’s Reactions to the sanction:

“NFF President has directed that an internal inquiry be instituted immediately & persons found culpable be dealt with.
“We accept the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary C’ttee to fine the NFF and award the match to Algeria.
“At the same time, I want to assure that persons responsible for this slip would not be given just a slap on the wrist. We are actually looking at a re-organization of the Technical Department.
“The Technical C’ttee will henceforth play serious superintending role on all details, no matter how minute, in technical matters. “It is important that all committees and depts at the NFF should move at the same pace as the Executive C’ttee,”

The World governing body, FIFA, has slammed a heavy fine on Nigeria for fielding an ineligible player against Algeria in a Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The disciplinary committee of the body in a statement on Tuesday slammed a princely sum of CHF 6,000 (N2.17 million) on the three-time African champions.
The Committee stated that the Nigeria Football Federation was sanctioned for the match between Algeria and Nigeria on November 10, 2017.
The match, according to the committee, is declared to be forfeited and awarded 3-0 in favour of Algeria, with the NFF also receiving a fine of CHF 6,000.

“The sanction relates to the player Abdullahi Shehu failing to serve the automatic one-match suspension imposed on him as a result of receiving a caution in two separate matches of the same competition.
“This sanction bears no impact on the final result of the preliminary competition for the FIFA World Cup since Nigeria had already qualified (and Algeria eliminated) before the match took place,”

the statement read.
Due to the sanction, Nigeria’s points in the group stage would automatically drop from 14 to 11, while Algeria gets five points.

His parishioners ve tried to change his car but his response always is "if my car can still take me from point a to b with assurance from my mechanic, I certainly do not need a new car. I won't lie though, this richblife syndrome is beginning to sip into the catholic church through the new generation priests being ordained. Young boys with love for money are beginning to come into the priesthood while others are leaving because they can't cope with the tough life of real preachers. Tithing was part of the mosaic law designed by God to service the levitical priesthood who have no property nor inheritance. Gal 3: 23 & 24, Hebrews 7:5-19 shows we are no longer under mosaic laws which was to lead Christians to Christ.
Tithing is actually against the principle of Christian giving outlined in 2 Cor 9:7...Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. So Tithing is not for Christians because it is compulsory (10%) Have you wondered why other parts of that law are neither preached nor discussed example is sabbath which carried a death penalty - Numbers 15: 32-35
