This group has been saving life since. God Bless whoever introduced the group to me cause I have forgotten now. I have been using this platform as a companion since my first baby pregnancy 2016 to my second baby pregnancy
I am here peeping again.... My period is supposed to come today.

I will start searching for my period proper tomorrow.
I just removed IUCD like 1 month ago..... Is my body adjusting to change����... So period days is changing too.

This period should come and let me do my birthday in peace o..

A second time mother wishing the second pregnancy will be shorter than first but unfortunately reached 41+2 and had to be admitted for induction on Thursday 8th November. I was getting weary but not fearful as 42 weeks is the highest but on getting to hospital, i started reading up on induction....the following morning around past 4 am doctors gave me half tablet of one drug like that under my tongue. I started pressing my phone with the mind that today is today, @ past 7am i started rounding up chats to switch off my phone as contraction was becoming strong. I started off enduring and enduring but @ some points I voiced out with Yeh! ....started praying....doctors went to freshen up in preparation for ward round so nobody to check me except one student doctor on ground who didn't just care. Later they started coming in one after the other...doctors didn't expect it to be so quick from what i overheard so i requested for pain reliever but they were just making preparation to buy/pay. I begged to be checked around 9am & i was 7cm...(for my mind...splendid...the pains was over bearing) the doctor on hearing 7cm said no need for pain reliever again.... I intensified gentle prayers and screams when contracting hits too.... Not too long i heard 8cm...& doctors kept saying madam stop shouting... don't waste your energy....use your mouth to breath. I tried the mouth tehnique .... It worked .....@ least no noise...when the contraction climax it will surely come down but not easy .... even with the mouth you can hear....ha...ha...ha.. Before you know it I would have switched to screaming.... (as they were preparing to break waters nah so them carry student doctor to come try it....he tried again and again but didn't get it .... And i was scared make this guy no cut the wrong thing... Me sef no farabale for the guy to do practical....that's how the female doctor checking me broke the waters and told him .... He will do another person). I was 9cm dilated in few more mins and one doctor was like in 30mins or an hour everything will be settled.... In no time I was pushing.... it was a nurse with me....doctors were so busy on one particular woman... No time to move me into delivery room.... The nurse will say push..... And @ the 4th attempt baby came out screaming i felt relieved @ 9:49am on 9th November .... Doctors didn't believe it will be that fast as they left me with one nurse and student nurse & like 5 of the doctors inside delivery room with one woman.... and fast forward they gave me oxytocin injection to push out the placenta.... Nah one student nurse again.....she tried and tried & nothing happened so the nurse that took my delivery came to press the tommy and the placenta came out .....wow glory!.... She now said ..there is little laceration....tear....
Doctors came around to stitch it up and it took some mins as the guy too they learn and convinced his senior that he can do it.... The senior senior ones are just coming in and some are in theatre room...
I give God all the glory as it has ended in praise... Didn't so believe I did it again with the help of God. But sincerely/seriously....nah serious throwing away of boots....

Have you taken your early morning walk?
ANC is now on a weekly basis so feel free to ask questions from your Dr.
Check what facilities they have to cater for a jaundiced newborn, take a look at their NICU, blood bank etc. We won't need it by God's grace but we need all the reassurance we can get.
I'm sure bags are packed. Don't forget to get a wrapper as that would be most comfortable the first few days.
Have you been cleaning your nipps? Scrub those dark and crusty stuff off it, we don't want baby ingesting it.
I'm sure you have all downloaded the contraction timer app.

A very big congratulations to our newest mummies,may your babies bring joy to your family at all times.

My 4 year friendship is taking another turn..
So I met this friend of mine 4 years ago while TTC and we have really been supporting each other. We got married same year . We pray togeda, share experiences and even eat togeth

Mama abeg avoid her like a plague, you can't put your home/children/joy on the ruin because of friendship. Evil thoughts are not good at all...they can manifest...then she will come to say sorry & be happy that you are unhappy. Envy is Bad/Terrible..... If she says something about you amidst wrong people.... Hmmm...
Even when you mean no harm.....she sees flaws....
If you laugh with baby too much in her presence....to her it means you are taunting her.....
She sees them from the negative because of her condition and you can't please her to displease yourself.
Even if she accused you of avoiding her..... Don't feel sorry because out of the abundance of heart the mouth speaks.....
It is not her fault neither is it yours....this relationship has come to an end.

Body itching crazily despite drugs worth 10K... Using at 6 hours intervals...
Me that wanted early delivery don they think twice...as my face is spoilt with blisters...... Plus the whole of my body.. Hmmm
In all things we give thanks.... Can't afford bringing baby to meet this kind of thing......

I can imagine the pain but in a week it should be gone. Let's hope the newborn is spared from this.
No drugs for chickenpox ó, just keep rubbing your calamine lotion and feeling fly

Take your bath using apple cider vinegar as anticeptic( pls do not ingest)
Avoid using sponge for now to avoid spreading
For the spots when you deliver you can apply betnovate on the spots only, it will clear them off like magic

Congratulations sis, don't rush yourself with tabs....
Pregnacare is okay so you won't be using many tabs... One per day with folic acid should be sufficient except your blood level is low and you need fesolate.

Though you will need to treat malaria but not your first trimester...... Cheers

My sis, as mama don put mouth.... I will prefer government hospital....sincerely, they do like surgery.... When i did for my boy... I wasnt allowed in o.... Doctor just took him in and return after some mins....I didn't see the process. In all....may we not see evil.

@36weeks your body is preparing for the big day. Please talk to your Dr immediately to confirm what is happening to you as your baby may want to make early entrance.
