Mum was a well known athlete in the whole of Mbano while dad was a local champion(both in sports and acedemics) in the 60s.
Had his eyes on her but could not come close as she was considered way out of his league. Thigns started to work out for him
when a kinsman of his married mum's elder sister and she had to come to the "local side" of mbano to help out her sister at a period
dad just led the local school to win a major trophy. He made sure she was well briefed on his exploits grin .
Mum's elder bro had serious beefs with dad for years as he believed she could have gone further in athletics .

My problem with this boko thugs is that they are asking for sharia law in the North.
Why can't they just ask for the North to split from the Country so that they can have the Sharia they want.

With stories like this, Some people still want me to celebrate Nigeria's 51st annivasary! I will celebrate when our health care system becomes functional, when the Benin - Ore Road is fixed, when the Police Force stands by the people.
Op, i believe you had to go through that experience for a reason, find that reason and make it your calling. And never stop being what you are, an angel.

SQL Injection is something that is easily preventable . The developers , and am being very nice with that term, have no excuse for such an error. You don't have to be a hacker to attack such sites
@OP , buzz the school, bring it to their attention, offer your service, get paid and  grin to the bank , i hope .

Computers / Re: Oracle 10g Installation On Solaris 10 by gistme24(m): 10:18pm On Jun 27, 2011
I had issues installing Solaris 10 on a partition, a loud screeching noise, which was why i switched to VB and successfully installed it on it with the same DVD. So i plan to run it first on Virtual Box before having a go again on a partioned drive. Also, do you have any idea why my system made those loud scary noise while i was installing? the noise did not seem to affect the installation process but had to stop it for fear of blowing up something!

@sbucareer , you may feel you are just defending Java, but actually you ended up enlightening us all! I came across Java some 4 years ago only because i did not want to take the .Net path everyone in my class were going simply because they heard Java was " Difficult ", I have never had a single regret ever since. Thank you so much!
Career / Re: Any Hope For Aptech Or Niit Student by gistme24(m): 11:09pm On Mar 13, 2011
I am an Aptech graduate with more job offers than I can handle sometimes. I was recently interviewed by the oldest software firm in Nigeria and I also recommended some recent graduates for positions at an IT firm in Ilupeju area of Lagos, they are currently on training . Aptech is not as perfect as people may think, but it can serve as a spring board for serious dedicated people.
