Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha, has pleaded with Nigerians to keep Seyi in the house.

We had reported that seven BBNaija housemates including Mike, Seyi, Mercy, Diane, Frodd, Jackie and Gedoni, have been selected for possible eviction this week.

The housemates were nominated after the ‘Cruistopia team’ were defeated during the arena game challenge.

Elozonam, who won the veto power on Sunday, saved Venita and replaced her with Frodd.

However, Tacha, when asked to campaign for vote for one of the nominated housemate urged Nigerians to vote Seyi.

She told Biggie during her diary session that she chose to campaign for Seyi because she needs him by her side in the house.

Tacha said, ”please Nigerians come through for Seyi, he is my buddy in this house.

“Make sure you vote for him, Seyi needs to remain in this house.

“If you love Tacha, you would know I need him by my side,” She added.

A couple in Niger state was found dead in their home in the early hours of today August 21st.

According to reports, the couple went about their businesses yesterday August 20th and retired to their home later in the evening. Sadly this morning, they were both found dead by their neighbors. The cause of their death is yet unknown. However their remains have been buried according to Islamic rites.

More revelations have come to light about the activities of soldiers attached to Battalion 93, Takum, including how they allegedly shielded a drug dealer who was about to be arrested by the police.

Special Forces from the battalion were said to have also attacked the five policemen who went on an operation to arrest a narcotics dealer in Kwesati village, Ussa Local Government Area of Taraba State, last year.

The policemen who stormed the village to arrest one Endurance Mike for allegedly selling tramadol and other banned psychotropic drugs were allegedly beaten up by 10 soldiers attached to the Operation Whirlstroke.

A police report on the incident, obtained from police archives on Monday by one of our correspondents in Abuja, stated that the incident, which occurred on June 30,2018, almost led to a violent confrontation between policemen and soldiers of Battalion 93.

The report, with reference number CK4161/AC/TK/TRS/VOL.1/2 dated July 7, was written by the Area Commander, Takum Area Command, ACP Ayuba Dickson, to the Commissioner of Police, state headquarters, Jalingo.

It explained that when the policemen got to Mike’s shop where he also sold medicines, they met a soldier who exchanged hot words with them on learning that they wanted to arrest the shop owner.

It said, “While the police team was still inside the shop, the unnamed soldier went out and mobilised more than 10 fellow soldiers who came on motorcycles and beat up the policemen, seized the confiscated drugs and set the suspect free. One of the men also seized and chewed the search warrant and swallowed it.

“The soldiers also forcefully seized two rifles from the police team and took them to their makeshift office.”

The report identified the injured policemen as the Divisional Crime Officer, Ussa Division, ASP Usman Madugu, Inspector Ishaku Garba, Sergeants Moses Ashoon and Punadanda Ahmadu and Cpl. Manasseh Alfred.

Girlfriend launches attack after she walked in to find her boyfriend with a "side chic"

A man pranked his girlfriend by setting up a dummy to make it look like he had another woman in the house. The girlfriend's reaction when she walked in will have you watching the video multiple times.

In the viral video, the man can be seen putting the dummy in place as he awaited the arrival of his girlfriend. He then lay back on a chair and waited until he heard her footsteps.

When he noticed she was approaching, he stood and got close to the dummy, touching it, as though he were handling a woman.

His girlfriend walked in on this sight and didn't miss a bit. She immediately leaped towards the man and the "side chick", jumping them in one swift, athletic move. As she did, she raised her feet and kicked the dummy's head.

Her quick reaction has amused Instagram users but what people find most amusing is the kick she aimed at the head of the "side chic". Most said if the dummy were a real woman she would have suffered some serious injuries.

The housemates were split in two group which is Cruisetopia and Icon team.

Team Icons won tonight's challenge while the Cruisetopia are up for possible eviction this sunday.

The housemates includes; Esther, Diane, Mike, Seyi, Jackye, Gedoni, Mercy and Frodd.

Elozonam saved Venita and replaced with Frodd as the current VETO power holder.

Esther is excluded from the eviction lists as the current head of house.

The Big Brother Naija reality TV show continues with more fun and twists from the housemates. Last Sunday Live eviction show saw another two housemates evicted from the show.

Joe and Enkay were evicted from Big Brother house after the pulled the least number of votes from the fans. Shortly after a game of chance was played where Elozonam won the Veto Power to save and replace.

In another game, Esther has won the Head of House after making it to the last round of the game between herself and Elozonam. As the new head of house, Esther would have access to the HoH suite.

She chose Frodd to be a beneficiary of the Head of House privilege.

A joint inter-agency team led by the anti-corruption agency, ICPC, has arrested 37 officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for allegedly extorting money from motorists on Nigerian highways.

A statement by the ICPC spokesperson, Rasheedat Okoduwa, on Monday, said the team comprised officials of ICPC, FRSC and the State Security Service (SSS).

The commission also said the team arrested five persons said to be agents of the corps officials in a sting operation carried out simultaneously in the six geo-political zones.

The ICPC said the team struck on Friday following the receipt of a complaint from the management of the Corps of massive extortion of money from motorists on the highways by its patrol teams.

The FRSC management had, in the complaint to the Commission, observed that incidents of extortion were rife in the six states of Kaduna, Bauchi, Abia, Rivers, Kogi, and Ogun.

”Based on this, the ICPC-led Team went into action and identified the notorious spots in each of the aforementioned states to include Aba in Abia State; Ahoada, Ajaokuta, Itori, Torro and Gwantu in Rivers, Kogi, Ogun, Bauchi, and the Kaduna states, respectively.

”13 FRSC officials and two civilians were arrested in Aba in the South-east while 24 other FRSC officials and three civilians were arrested from various spots on roads spread across the other geo-political zones.

”Findings from the Joint Inter-Agency Team indicated that various sums of money were found on the arrested Corps officials during the sting operations before they were taken into ICPC custody.

However, all the officials arrested and the three civilian accomplices have been granted administrative bail and will be prosecuted by the commission at the conclusion of investigations.

Nigerians have continued to express diverse opinions about sex on the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.

However, a former BBN housemate, Antoinette Lecky, aka Anto, in an encounter with Sunday Scoop, said people were just being hypocritical about sex in the Big Brother house. According to her, Nigerians should be more concerned about the nation’s population crisis, rather than sex on the show.

She stated, “Nigeria has a population crisis, and we are not incubating babies in laboratories yet, so it’s happening from sex. That’s the sex we should be talking about, not BBN house sex. People are too hypocritical about housemates having sex. People around the world have sex. It’s a part of life; television or not.”


Sharing her thoughts on the current set of housemates in the ongoing Pepper Dem Gang edition, the damsel who has two marketing degrees, said, “I don’t watch the show all the time but I think the house has a good mix of housemates. I can be honest and say I like the fact that there are more Nigerians from the diaspora like myself. As a former housemate, I’m not concerned about who wins, but how well everyone fares after leaving the house.”

Asked about her current projects, Lecky said, “I am constantly promoting my hair care line which is good for healthy hair growth. I am also growing in my entertainment career with acting, hosting, modelling and influencing gigs. I also put my MBA and honorary PhD to use by consulting for organisations, especially in education and empowerment”
