Princess Shyngle has disclosed she had work done on her body and she's promising to help Tacha get a better body than Mercy to silence those comparing their bodies.

The Gambian actress said this while addressing Tacha's disqualification from the Big Brother Naija house. She condemned Mercy for provoking Tacha and flinging her hair in her face. She went on to state that Tacha will be "the most successful housemate in just a few months".

She then addressed those who say Mercy has a sexier body than Tacha. She added that she (Shyngle) is "the queen of body works" and said to Tacha, "Abeg hit me up and imma hook you up."

Admitting to having cosmetic surgery, Shyngle wrote:

Earlier in the week, housemates were tasked with leaving their mark in the house by painting their unique individual graffiti on the wall. As part of his graffiti, Omashola chose to paint his fellow housemates. However, Tacha wasn’t pleased by this and proceeded to clean off her image after Big Brother’s ninjas led Omashola and Mike away from the house for a Showmax movie treat.

While Omashola wasn’t happy about Tacha’s move, Mercy found her actions wanting and shared her thoughts with her love interest, Ike. Describing Tacha’s actions as unnecessary, Mercy revealed that the move “weighed Omashola down a lot”.

Ike, however, suggested that Tacha’s actions sprung from the fact that the show was coming to an end “and she wants to be CeeC”.

“He [Omashola] told me he’s angry but he already knows that she’s doing this thing because we’re reaching the end and she wants to be CeeC.”

Fans of Big Brother Naija will recall that CeeC, who was the second runner up of the Double Wahala set, had several heated run-ins with her fellow housemates, which led fans to dub her ‘the real double wahala’, in keeping with the season’s theme.

Agreeing with Ike, Mercy shared that she was glad Omashola didn’t give Tacha the attention she seemingly sought, and went on to describe her as a low-budget version of the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate. “She can’t be CeeC; she no even hard. She’s forming to be hard, but that is how CeeC is. This one [Tacha] is a wannabe, low-budget CeeC.”

Three soldiers arrested by a joint patrol team alongside 22 other members of a kidnapping gang at a building in the outskirts of Maiduguri in the early hours of Sunday September 22, have been dismissed by the Nigerian army and handed over to the Nigerian police.

The soldiers who engaged in various crimes which include kidnapping, armed robbery, killings and cultism after being deployed to the Operation Lafiya Dole were dismissed in accordance with the military procedures.

“The three soldiers were caught among the evil group, there was further resistance and attempt to escape, so we tied them up with ropes because handcuffs were not available.

“In addition; we could not put violent men that do this kind of crimes into a police van to take to the station, there will be breakout on the road and we know what would happen.

“We have to restrain them thoroughly with ropes before we take them and handover to the police.

“The Acting GOC, 7 Division, Brig.-Gen. AK Ibrahim, has conducted military procedures. We do not keep armed robbers, kidnappers and cultists in the army, they had been dismissed.

“We gathered here to witness their handover to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for civic action, they are dismissed, and they are no longer soldiers of the Nigerian Army.

“Our code of conduct is strict and high, no evil soldier will be allowed to serve in the army,” Olusegun Adeniyi, the Theater Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole said.

Source reported earlier that the dismissed soldiers are among the arrested suspects posing as Boko Haram members . Others include students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Ramat Polytechnic Maiduguri, a medical doctor, a banker and soldiers.

Actress Chesan Nze has sent out a warning to Nollywood movie producers insisting on sleeping with her before giving her movie roles as she explained why she barely feature in movies.

Chesan said most male movie producers are out to frustrate and drain female entertainers emotionally and physically. The aggrieved actress averred that she won't name any producer now but will be forced to do that if such act continues.

There was anxiety among fans of popular singer, Majekodunmi Fasheke, aka Majek Fashek, when it was reported on some online media that the artiste fondly known as the ‘Rainmaker’ had passed on in London.

However, his manager and friend, Umenka Uzoma, told SATURDAY BEATS that the veteran singer was getting better.

In a WhatsApp chat enquiring about Majek’s health status, Uzoma wrote, “He is improving (sic) better.”


Billionaire and business mogul, Femi Otedola, had offered to settle Majek’s medical bills. Uzoma, however, didn’t answer other questions about the nature of the singer’s ailment.

Majek Fashek is best known for his 1988 chart-topping song, ‘Send Down the Rain.’ At the peak of his career, the singer was one of the most popular African entertainers, before he faded out of the scene.

Though many believe his career crashed due to drug addiction, Majek Fashek maintained it was a spiritual problem.

Let’s look at six Nigerian celebrities who have been to prison

Naira Marley

Azeez Adeshina Fashola is a Nigerian musician popularly known as Naira Marley.

He was born on 10 May 1989.

Naira Marley left Nigeria at the age of 11 to Peckham in the United Kingdom.

He rose to fame in 2018 with the remix of issa goal which features Olamide and lil kesh
The day after his hit single “I’m I a Yahoo boy” dropped online, Naira Marley and four others were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was arrested for alleged money laundering.

Marley, known for his single “Issa Goal”, was slammed with 11- count charges

He was granted bail for N2millon with two sureties in like sum.

Shortly after his release, Marley made a live video where he revealed that he has been arrested 24 times when he was still living in England.

Dammy Krane

Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, is a Nigerian singer, composer and performer. In January 2012, at age 20, he signed a record deal with Hypertek Digital and 960 Music Group. He is most famous for his single hit “My Dear”

In 2017, Dammy Krane was arrested in the US reportedly for grand theft, credit card fraud and identity fraud.

In the days that followed more allegations were reported that he had used a stolen credit card to book a private jet from the company Tap Jets while in Miami.

The company had detected the alleged fraud due to discrepancies in the credit card information he had provided.

He was released from jail in Miami after meeting his bail conditions, set at $7,500.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded a trial by jury. The singer was assigned an attorney and was billed to appear in court on June 23, 2017.

His mother maintained the innocence of her son blaming his troubles on the show promoter that booked his flight ticket.

In August 2017, American courts struck out all charges including credit card forgery, armed conspiracy and grand theft filed against him.

September 16, 2019, He was also arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command on three counts of threat to life, defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The musician was alleged to have threatened the lives of staff members of a betting company, Merrybet Gold Limited, on July 25, 2019, and also released a song in which he accused the firm of a breach of contract.

According to the prosecutor, J. I. Enang, Dammy Krane threatened the betting company by posting an audio and video message on the radio in contravention of Section 168 (d) of the Lagos State Criminal Law.

He was however granted bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum and case adjourned to October 11.

Ibinabo Fiberesima

Ibinabo Fiberesima, born January 13, 1970, is a Nigerian film actress, ex-beauty pageant and event manager. She is a former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

In 2009, Ibinabo was charged for manslaughter and reckless driving after she accidentally killed a certain Giwa Suraj in 2006.

Fiwa Suraj was a medical doctor of the Lagos State Teaching Hospital.

On March 16, 2016, Ibinabo was sacked as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and sentenced to a 5-year jail term by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

She was however granted bail in the sum of N2Million and two sureties in like sum.

Sinzu

Rapper Babalola Falemi popularly known as Sinzu or Sause Kid was jailed for two years in the United States for aggravated identity theft.

He was said to have stolen bank card numbers and identified information of their owners. Sinzu was said to have stolen over 15 bank cards.

Sinzu was arrested as he was about to board a flight.

It was gathered the police found a card encoding device and more than $6000 on him.

According to Idaho Statesman, the rapper was charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, eight counts each of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, and possession of several fraudulent bank cards.

He pleaded guilty to one of the counts of aggravated identity theft after the other charges were dropped. He was jailed for two years for aggravated identity theft.

In 2018, a video surfaced on Instagram, captioned “My bro is back!! SINZU”.

Uche Odoputa

Uche Odoputa is a Nollywood actor and television personality who has won a number of awards over the course of his acting career.
In 2007, he was also arrested with cocaine at the international airport in Lagos.

According to him, he wasn’t getting any substantial movie roles, and could not afford to feed or house himself and his family.

Uche said he was open to the drug trafficking offer because he thought he could drastically change his living conditions.

He said his major regret was letting his family down and allowing his London friends take advantage of his situation by talking him into the act.

In an interview, he said, “The late Amake Igwe paid part of my legal fees, she was always in contact with me and never abandoned me”.

Lola Margaret

Lola Margaret,born Lola Margaret Oladipupo is a Nigerian actress, film producer and director. Her career came into the limelight after she starred as the lead character in the movie Bisola Alanu.

The actress was reportedly arrested in USA for fraud.

According to reports, the Yoruba actress had suspicious amounts of money wired into her bank account.

She reportedly withdrew the money thereby drawing the attention of detectives.

The actress was arrested after a strong surveillance was placed on her bank account.

However, the police took her in for further interrogations.

There was no official report on the alleged card fraud by the Atlanta police, but the actress’ mugshot surfaced online.

She was later released and deported back to Nigeria.

A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Minna has ordered that a 20-year-old commercial motorcyclist popularly called ‘Okada’ rider, Mustapha Aliyu be remanded in prison custody for throwing his three-month-old baby boy into a river.

Aliyu is standing trial on a charge of culpable homicide contrary to Section 221 of the Penal Code.

The prosecutor, ASP Daniel Ikwoche, told the court that Amina Zakaria, the mother of the baby had reported the matter to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Sept. 8.

Ikwoche said that the complainant of Keranbadi village in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger alleged that she had the baby for the defendant out of wedlock.

The prosecutor said that the complainant alleged that the defendant had visited her at about 9:30p.m., on Sept. 7 and took the baby away.

Ikwoche said that the defendant took the child to his own village, Tamanai.

There, he threw the baby into a river where he eventually drowned, the prosecutor said.

When the charge was read to the defendant, he pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency.

Chief Magistrate Hauwa Yusuf, however, declined to take his plea, saying that the court lacked jurisdiction to hear the matter.

Yusuf directed the prosecuting police officer to forward a duplicate copy of the case file to the State Director of Public Prosecution, (DPPs) for legal advice.

She, thereafter, adjourned the case until Oct. 10 for further mention.

Justice Mojisola Dada of the State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has convicted and sentenced one Lawrence Maduagwu to 10 years imprisonment for $179,000 fraud.

The convict was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal
office, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 on a two-count charge bordering on stealing and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of $179,000.00.

Maduagwu was introduced to the complainant, PMC Industry Limited, a Chinese company, through its Nigerian representative, Ohio Ileogben, as a businessman who deals in calcium chloride chemicals.

He, however, failed to pay for the 500 metric tonnes of calcium powder valued at the sum of $179,000, after taking delivery of the items and efforts to get him pay for the goods were unsuccessful.

Count one reads: “That you, Lawrence Maduagwu, sometimes in 2013, at Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, induced PMC Industry
Limited, China to confer a benefit on you by supplying you 500 metric
tonnes of calcium chloride powder valued at $179, 000.00 (One Hundred
and Seventy-Nine Thousand US Dollars) on the understanding that you
will pay for the goods .But up till now, you have refused to do so.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge, thereby leading to his full trial.

In the course of the trial, the prosecution counsel, S.O. Daji, called five witnesses and tendered several exhibits that were admitted in evidence by the court. .

The defendant, however, testified for himself and also called two other witnesses.

During the sitting on June 19, 2019, parties adopted their final written addresses respectively.

Delivering her judgement yesterday, September 11, 2019, Justice Dada convicted and sentenced the defendant to seven years imprisonment on count one and three years on count two.

Both sentences are to run concurrently from the date of his remand( February 28, 2018) by the court.
