Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II on Saturday August 3, received his 4th wife HRH Sa’adatu Barkindo Mustapha.

Emir Sanusi II had married the daughter of Lamido of Adamawa Muhammadu Barkindo-Mustafa, in a low-key ceremony which was held in Yola on September 25, 2015. HRH Sa’adatu Barkindo Mustapha was only an 18-year-old secondary school leaver when her royal wedding was held.

Now a graduate of a University in the United Kingdom, Sa’adatu was received at the Kano first-class Monarch's palace after being away for four years. Her Quranic graduation ceremony was held yesterday, and it was learnt that her traditional Budar Kai ceremony is currently ongoing.

The Emir of Kano's other wives include Sadiya, daughter of the late Emir of Kano Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero, Maryam and Rakiya. Here are more photos below;

Victor Ajidagba, a 400-Level student of the Department of Nursing, University of Ibadan, slumped and died shortly after writing a test on Wednesday. .

Ajidagba was rushed to the University Clinic, known as Jaja Clinic, but all attempts to resuscitate and stabilise him was unsuccessful.
.
According to students who witnessed the incident, the medical officers on duty fought hard to save his life by administering first-aid treatment but had to refer him to the University College Hospital (UCH), Oritamefa, Ibadan, when they discovered the severity of the case.

He later died in the hospital, despite efforts of the medical officers at the UCH.

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, on Friday night August 2nd, said contrary to his earlier comment, only one pastor of the church was abducted by kidnappers along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Thursday August 1st.

He made the clarification while addressing pastors of the Church at the Redemption camp along Lagos-Ibadan express way.

On Friday morning August 2nd, Adeboye had announced during a church service that 5 of his church pastors who were traveling to the camp ground for the annual Ministers conference have been abducted.

However when he addressed his congregation during the evening service, he said investigations by the police has shown that it was only one pastor of the church that was kidnapped alongside four other persons.

“

People have been taunting me and challenging me that since I hear from God how come this is happening to your church pastors. I want to say it has been confirmed that only one pastor of the church was kidnapped along with four other people. That does not reduce from the weight of the incidence however. The church will continue to pray for the release of all those who have been kidnapped.”he said

A hijab-wearing student of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital was raped and disvirgined last night, August 1, on her way home, according to tweets shared yesterday.

The student, who is known by her peers as a decent woman, was raped by an indigene of Oke Ose in Ilorin. She had gone to charge her gadgets and was on her way home when the man attacked her with a knife and threatened to kill her.

The rapist was arrested and taken to the community leader but there are fears he will be released because he's an indigene.

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija 2019 housemates, Omashola and Mercy, got into a fight in the early hours of Thursday, over Mercy’s refusal to participate in the group task assigned to them by Big Brother.

The fight broke out when Mercy, the team leader, said she was going to sleep while other members were still working on the task.

Omashola, who is also member of the team, got angry, saying it was wrong for her to leave while others were still working.

Responding, Esther said Omashola should come and drag her out of the bed.

The very furious Omashola started shouting at the top of his voice while most of the housemates in the other team were sleeping.

Mercy, who did not fail to give it hot to Omashola, stated that adding Omashola to her team was her biggest mistake.

Other members of the team including the new housemate, Venita, tried to calm both parties as they rained insults on each other.

Mercy Eke in a conversation with Diane in the BBN house talked about her spiritual life as well as her love for fashion which she said makes her happy.

The 26-year-old 2019 Big Brother Naija housemate and video vixen claimed to have the gift of seeing visions and having dreams that come to pass. Though Mercy disclosed that she stopped telling people about her dreams and vision over fear of being labeled a witch, she also prepended plans to give her life to Christ and maybe become a pastor some day.

“

When I dress, I dress for different occasions. I dress to slay, I’m a fashion person; not just the small things you see here. I have official wears, dresses for church, and social outings. I don’t care about what anyone says about my dressing because I dress to be happy. Like, I can’t wear jeans nor a tight jump-suit to church.

“I may be a pastor someday.” she continued.

“I feel I have a calling. When I was little, I use to see visions and my dreams did come to pass. At some points, I stopped telling my dreams and visions to people so that they don’t label me a witch. I’ll give my life to Christ,” she told Diane.

A banner advertising a Church's revival program has caught the attention of web users because of who the guest speaker is.

According to the banner, Archbishop Benson Idahosa will be a guest speaker at the revival which will begin from August 1st 2019 and end on Dec 31st 2019.

Problem is, Archbishop Idahosa died in March 1998. Lol.
