Like I promised, I'm done sending the Gofund link to almost every conscious celebrity I follow on twitter. I sent it to Nas, Kanyewest, Wale, Kendrick Lamar, Boogey, Wizkid, Bankyw, Davido, Donjazzy and a lot of them. And I'm very sure they will reply positively. So y'all be rest assured, the donations will be done in no time!

Hi Salsera, how are you doing?

A few NGOs and doctors reached out and they are the ones handling it. They've been in constant touch with the family and she underwent an echo scan yesterday. the doctors and the NGO United kids foundation have already started reaching out to their colleagues in India to make arrangements. Mine is to share the story and try to get the funds and all the funds raised are still with gofundme and once everything is set we would get someone in the US to help withdraw the money cos gofundme is strict and only USA, Canada, UK and a few European countries are supported. the gofundme account is US based and would need a verified US resident with social security number etc to be able to access the funds. The support has been amazing and everyone is putting hands together to make sure this becomes a success story. I have zero experience in the medical field and with such cases in general so it's a collective effort.
I visited the family on Wednesday and Vivian is doing well even tho her mum complained about some things but I believe all this would be over soon and Vivi would get better and back to normal soon.
Glamrock can handle the "withdrawing" part. She's an African American, very kind hearted and disciplined. I know very well. She's one we can all trust.

But we have to focus on the donations now. . . I'm gonna share this link to some of the Celebrities I follow on twitter. I'm sure some of them will be kind enough to donate.

GIYAZZ, I'm no noob. I'll bag u flawlessly!
Diss @ Geoxpress (Freestyle)

I'm coming with bars to bully this dimwit/
smoke his poor @ss for dissing this rich kid/
With bars overwhelming, real niggas feel it/
but if he's not 'amazed?'. . . I'll smash his head with an iron to 'awe' the cretin!/
Cos women love me, from Lagos to Lisbon/
but I know why the 'bbitch' don't. . . he's a ffucking 'lesbian!'/
He a girl disguised. . . in a male body, niggurs!/
and In Real life?. . . he carries a braided hair. . . tied with ribbons!!!/
This is Nairaland, we don't fear ye biters/
unlike FB niggas! Those yeye writers/
So if this dude acts tough, finna vex a fighter?/
my punches will damage 'express' like 'care less drivers!!/'
Now you bbitches may say these lines stale but buttered/
till I spill a killer punch and maim your mothers/
Smack Geo in the face, to frail um frontals/
Then take the fight to a hill. . . And before he says 'Jack?'. . . I'll break his head with a pail of water!!/
Now you think you d0pe huh? Pftt! You're not/
I tutored you on facebook, refined your raw thoughts/
So stop acting hard, wicked or tough/
You's just a 'useless cow' and I'm your 'god!!!'/
It's Giyasara, the god of punchlines/
The one who stabbed the moon and the sun died/
I shaded your dreams for fame with just one line/
So swallow a torch while you writing, your lyrics will not shine!!!!!

See bro, if you are good, you'd definately get props. There's no way you expect me to keep reading wack bars on here and keep rating them. Don't I have a life outside here. You are definately not gonna go unrecognised if you are skilled. Take Obesemf and Liricyst for example, if to say I never retire from textbattling I for don battle them since. What is better than a newbie getting a chance to share a ring with the king.
You don't get me ryt? It's not just about the props sometimes. . . It's about how we recognize and correct them whenever they come up with a faulty line or verse. It's the attention they need! Some textcees who came to NL Rap Battles section came here to learn more about rap from those who are already perfect with the art!

Take for example, Me. I've been a member of this forum for 3 years but I never knew there was a Rap section until 2013. I was good as a rapper audio-wise but my lyrics were nothing to write home about, so I decided to join this section and learn more!
I dropped my flawed up verses but then I was corrected by the likes of Dj5naira, you, Evilchapterz, Ibime, Ojoawo, Emaprince and the rest. Ibime even dissed me one time indirectly or maybe unknowingly and that spiked me to learn the ropes!

Dj5naira always dissed me with a verse, flipping on my lines and creating punchlines with them, and I replied with my lame verses but then, I learnt one thing from him anytime he dissed me.

Evilchapterz was a pin in the @ss(No disrespect tho) he mocked my verses but then enlightened me even though he came up strict.

I mean, those days y'all vets gave Newbies your attention! And it was cool! It made me stay here even after I discovered RG, RGA, Insignia and them groups on FB!

And one of 'em reasons this place is dulling is because we started sleeping on everybody!!

If you are dropping just for people to quote you and give you props then you re fake. When I was coming up, I didn't bother myself with that - I just worked hard and put more effort. That's why I'm feared today.

The reason why I drop bars here is for me to enjoy myself. Nothing else.
Well that's not the same with other people. Cos I think some of them only drop bars here to see how well they're developing lyrically. And of course if they don't get props or even corrected they lose interest here and seek attention from somewhere else. That's why many textcees who started here elope to facebook where like I heard; they get enough attention.

The answer is not far-fetched, I said it and it happened, the chatroom killed this section.
Maybe. But I think glads got discouraged due to how they get snubbed whenever they drop. That feeling is so not good! And NLanders did that a lot, we don't encourage ourselves especially Newbies.

"Years back I was addicted to video games. I would spend hours in the game house playing games even missing school on some occasions and spend the entire day gaming. I did so many unthinkable things just to be able to play games. No matter the lies I told my father always knew it was game I went to play and I was flogged and punished everyday. The flogging didn't stop me tho I got used to the beatings and would go out and play games anyway but after some time, I just lost interest in gaming and funny thing was then I was a bit independent and could game all day if I wanted but it just didn't appeal to me anymore."
Lol, I loved gaming too when I was a lil' kid but I was never an addict. . . Many of my friends were though, but I just didn't cop that 'much interest' for Video games. I don't know why sha, maybe it's because I was and still a kid with a difference! wink

On what merit is this assessment? there is nothing innovative about nairaland, yes the most visited Nigerian forum, but not innovative. Today Tonto this, tomorrow Tonto that.
coupled with the subtle endorsement of bigotry and tribalism. And a public show of support for the ruling party.
But wetin concern me. lipsrsealed

Seun deserves this! This is a man whose invention gave Nigerians a special community in the internet to express themselves. And not just that! He also gave the world a wormhole into the Nigerian/African world, I mean, Nairaland is like the online Nigeria. It is so amazing cause now you don't need a VISA to come inside the country for a tour!

I'm paying my respect sir! You are indeed a true son of the soil! An Icon and ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL NIGERIAN TO EVER EXIST!!

And you still fail to understand that to saner people in enlightened societies, those points i have mentioned, nullifies what ever positives Nigeria has. "oh, the country has an abundance of natural resource, the weather is relatively stable, there is great opportunity for agriculture, but you have no security and armed men can break into your house at night, rape your wife and daughters, steal all you have and possibly kill you. The police will not come until the armed men are gone and probably ask for money for fuel before they do. why don't you come and live here," you'll like it" NO THANKS.
You amaze me. But then you sound like you've experienced a lot of bad times in Nigeria. Now I'm pushed to ask; what is your story?
