Good Morning friends, A big thanks to God Almighty my application of 14 weeks was approved on the 22/08/2017.

I also want to thank gurus on this forum(Austinpee, Mazuide, Canadian Nurse and a host of others). I came to this thread having zero Idea about Visa application as I have never done one before and by the grace of God, the application was a success.


PS: I'm sorry to just be notifying the house about the approval.

I'm so happy that people are getting their approvals. For those that were delayed, let's all just calm down, defer your admission, order your gcms note and re-strategise. Everything happens for a reason. For all those that have been approved, please give Poe transcript and tips for those coming.

My frnd dat applied from Abuja informed me that it first gets to VFS Lagos before dey send it to Abuja.
Biko go back again.disturb them. If possible follow them search.
Give them ur tracking number to check if itx still in transit.

I was refused visa June 2017 and I ordered for my gcms.. This was what i got in reply.

Travel history is not really a problem.. It only shows dat the document nd supporting documents you submitted were weak and as for sponsor. Itz clear ,u didn't show the relationship between you and your sponsor ,since you involved a third party .
He should transfer funds and pay first part of the tuition fee to show commitment .
And also write a convincing affidavit as to y he wants to sponsor you.

One thing is getting approval.
Anoda thing is waiting for your passport.
Mine took exactly 15 days . 13 days to reach vfs office Lagos nd anoda 2 days for their courier service.
Just be preparing , book flight ASAP but be mindful of the date .

Arebo, CIC dey vex. I dey on my own, had my school fees receipt which wasn't in file as at when I submitted, though had stated on my SOP that tuition fees had been paid. So this fareful Thursday 17th, I mailed Accra CIC the receipt to include in my app, and they replied within an hour. That same evening, my eligibility started. The following Noon or about 1pm, I noticed I had a mail that came in abt 10am i hadnt checked, and which I did and it was CIC. Just to log into my portal to see d sad Delay news. Wheeewwww. It's well.

Good day people, i have been a silent reader of this great thread for sometime now, i already applied for TRV before i got to know dis group.

Applied on the 12th of june via paper route with upfront medicals and i was refused on the 17th of Aug on the ground of
1. insufficient fund that is the second box was ticked
2. travel history
3. Purpose of visit

Am so heartbroken rite now. really dont know what step to take next. pls advice me coz i want to apply again.

O God my visa got delayed today my first time of visa denied am soo hurtful

I applied on July 12th for Undergraduate program chemistry am a graduate of Pharmacology not with a very good g.p I opted for that chemistry I.e the Bachelors science program for a pathway for pharmD program though I didn't state that in my Sop as a pathway program I talked more based on low cgpa and how i also needed to boost and get a good degree in chemistry as it has been my desired program from high school.


Visa was delayed and marked base on:

Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous
studies, employment, level of establishment, or your future prospects and plans.


I attached my employment letter as a pharmacy techincian/Assistant also submitted document from my Hospital for approval to go and study.

God is so good! Submitted July 13th with upfront medicals, medicals passed a week after. Eligibility Review 17th August being yesterday morning. Approval 17th August when I checked at night.

Got a BA in interior Architecture- Cyprus
Ma in Architecture- UK
Going for a second masters in Environmental Studies.

I've been a silent reader here. Was really encouraged by the faith some of us possess here. It's amazing. When I went to submit my application last month, VFS officer told me "you are submitting late" considering my program starts Commences in a couple of weeks, but the Holy Spirit told me "I got you". Nothing is a rule our with God truth be told.

**VFS uses UPS to courier passport. and a tracking number is not required just be expecting call from UPS in your state provided**

Evening NL family... I tracked my passport ,it wrote thus *your passport something something has been couriered** ..
