Sirmicholo: Baba PureRuby, you are mostly going to get approved, I think is the last criteria they want you to provide . They want to be sure you can fund your program if your sponsor disappoints.
I think what you should do is to borrow money if bank is delaying because of the procedure.
Borrow money from your colleagues in your work place, if you know any of your superiors, let them know your purpose for borrowing money. Try many people, tell your parents to borrow for you too but they should know from whom because of the society we are in Nigeria. Please make sure this money comes out before the time frame.
It will end in praise Amen Nyc one |

Goodkiiiid: Morning House, Please I need your suggestions, I was denied trv this week after gaining admission to Lambton college. Reasons were Purpose of Visit and Travel history. I was advised to opt for an M.SC on reapplication since I had a 2:1 with my B.SC degree to better treat the purpose of visit issue....so, 1. I need suggestions on schools/ Universities I can apply to for the Winter intake (preferably ones that waive Toefl for Nigerians) which our naira land brothers have highly recently gotten admitted to. 2. How do I treat the Travel history issue? I was advised to get a US/UK visa and travel once or twice first to fix this (because I've never been out of Nigeria ) but this doesn't seem really fesible for me tbh. 3. Do I need to get school (past professors) references for all schools to get the M.SC course? If not, please suggest Uni's where work references are accepted cos I would rather not go back to kiss my Past professors' butts. Lol
Thank you very much guys. God bless. Most times the two are tied together. This implies that the VO isn't convinced you're going to study or that you need the degree you're going for. It could also imply inconsistency in your academic/work background and your chosen course of study. Nine times out of ten an applicant with a First degree going for a diploma will be denied except such applicant is able to convince the VO of his/her rationale for choosing the diploma programme. Another reason why the above could be ticked is when your intended programme of study is not at all related to your background (academic/professional). Length of proposed stay may imply that the VO isn't convinced you need that much time away from your home country in pursuit of a degree or that you can obtain the needed experience in the time frame quoted. (keyword: convinced It is very likely that two different VOs might see things differently i.e where one VO feels your current job as a junior business analyst is unrelated to your chosen course of study in International Business [got this from an applicant's GCMS notes], another VO reviewing the same application may feel otherwise. All one can do is to convince as much as possible and hope/pray one's VO is eventually convinced)(This part is speculative and not a fact. Further input is needed from other members of the house) #quoted |

Thanks Itz two semesters in a year ....if you are given two yrs....it means for the first yr Some schs break it down to paying acceptance fee den d rest follows For eg u are to pay 15k for a yr .d svh requests u pay 10k for conditions basis But full academic fees is the 15k u get? Full academic fee is mainly for the first yr Complete payment of fees for the first yr |

PureRuby: .
My dream of studying in Canada manifested by the scholarship i got not that I am from a buoyant family. I added the award letter to my application bit nddc is yet to pay as their new rule is that they won't pay you until you travel. Now how do i travel if i don't get my trv? Do you think a reassurance letter from nddc will doyje trick A reassurance letter still won't satisfy or pacify the case . u showed all the sponsor's SOA They need to be assured that the money in ur uncle's account is exportable nd useable.(one ov the main reasons you were asked to pay for first year tuition fee, they don't want any immigrant to be a burden to the Canadian government) Nd they gave u deadline for the feedback : My own opinion tho ..run around for the first yr fee ...contact the nddc ,inform dem the conditions dey gave u.u ve gotten the admission already .I still don't see any reason why they should wait till u travel b4 dey pay . OK ,wat if by God's grace u eventually travel nd dey refuse to pay bringing about unnecessary attention from the immigration officers leading to your deportation. Jst try nd hustle for first year academic fees Contact d nddc inform dem...my opinion tho |

mesh2003: Wii derail a bit cos I am so super excited. My mums visiting visa got approved. I applied online for her May 10th. Sent CSE once and email 2x. I sent the last email yesterday and they responded me saying that I will get a passport request message soon. This morning I received it. I am writing this for the mothers struggling to leave their kids behind. YES YOU CAN. I left my barely 1 year daughter on the 14th of December, 2014. I left her behind for a purpose. Undivided attention in my studies. I made my school deans list with gpa of 4.0 and won the best international student award in business school. I finished school December 26th and landed a good job January 15th, 2017. I am now ready to see my daughter after 2 and half years who will be coming with my mum this July. So my dear mothers(married or single mums) in this forum, you can do it. Focus on what's in front. Leave emotions behind. #touchin Congrats to her |
