This is going to be hard but how about you try not calling him/reaching out on social media and see if he tries to reach out. You can NEVER be too busy for the one you love. If he doesn't call/text after a while, something's wrong.

I just got into a relationship, about a month (or so) with a guy who is not close to me. You could call it a long distance relationship.

Before this guy, my exs had just one problem with me; they said I lacked emotion. Not that I didn't love them, but that I had a tough way of showing it, so I decided to soften up with this new guy. I do all I can to show him I am always there, yes I may not have all that (for constant international calls) but I try to reach out at all times through Whatsapp and sometimes, Videocalls.

Here's the problem. I feel he is taking my constant show of care for granted. I text him and he takes time to reply, most time he says he's busy, other times he would say he was distracted or that his phone was not with him. Almost as if I throw myself out there or reach out to hold him and he stands and stares from a distance.

Sometimes he is hot, he acts all loving and says the nicest things.

Sometimes he is cold, he acts withdrawn, almost as if he was forced into the relationship.

Now I don't want that. I love him, yes, but most times I feel he just likes me. As if he's forcing himself to be with me.

He said I should try to "uncomplicate" him but it's not easy and part of me wants to give up on him and tell him to go to hell. I mean, I have my own personal life to figure out.

I am tired of the silence and cold shoulder.....and sudden switch to warmth and love.

Please, am I wrong? Am I doing something out of place?
