my last interview was done by an Indian and he is more concerned about your Excel skills than how you speak or your choice of words.

after about 5mins of intro, he just brought his lappy and gave me some task to do in Excel.

same with Chinese , and Pakistani interviewers . they are always far more concerned about your skills than how your speak.

you won't understand, from my second day at that reception, I knew I couldn't stay for long, the insult and maltreatment from the management, from men and even from small small girls who follow some guys to the place.
I got tips worth more than the salary (including some kind mago mago method), that gave me enough courage to leave.

teaching in a school for N30k, with the stress of private lesson and after school lesson and still job hunting. planning on going to Port Harcourt to look for a better job. I don't want to give up yet because Enugu didn't favour me. sometimes, I wonder why I even studied so hard to get second class upper in the first place.

But I'm definitely not giving up anytime soon

As early as my secondary school days i was earning nothing lesd than 1.5k or more nothing less for bricklayer job. This was in 2012/2013, in 2014 i was earning 8k monthly with a daily minimum pocket money of 500h, thats about say 12k +8k =20k. In a beer warehouse

after my NYSC programme in 2018, I was so desperate for a legit job cos I didn't want to pack up and go home and continue depending on my parents. I took a hotel receptionist position and I was supposed to be paid 20k because I was a "graduate". I worked for 3 weeks and ran away because I found out it wasn't the kind of job I could endure for a long time even though I was desperate, I didn't even collect my salary.

after that, I traveled to Enugu, still in search of greener pastures, I stayed with a cousin for more than 4 months without getting a job, I later got a job for 10k a month, I was desperate cos my cousin was the one feeding me and he had already started displaying some funny character that I understood.
I worked there for a while and I left.
