The amazing and delightful Seafood Fiesta was held on the 12th of February 2021 at Bonas Garden, Zonju Food, Opposite National Boundary Commission, Maitama, Abuja.

The event of Zonju Seafood Platter Night witnessed the presence of several public figures, cutting across all sectors and professions, including Nollywood celebrities, government officials, Celebrity musical Artists, Dancers and other Entertainers. IG ACCOUNT OF POPULAR FEMALE DISC JOCKEY BARBIE HACKED, NOTIFIES FANS ON NEW ACCOUNT


Nigeria Pretty Female Disc Jockey, DJ Barbie has expressed displeasure at the recent hacking of her Instagram account few days ago. She announced that her account on Instagram has been hijacked by internet fraudsters and social media marauders. She made the announcement while speaking exclusively with StatePress Correspondent in the early hours of yesterday.


She however used the medium to notify her fans, friends, family members, sponsors and partners to be aware of the new development, so as to prevent been scammed or misguided by those who had hijacked and hacked her Instagram account. She therefore stated that a new Instagram has been created to replace the other hacked account, so to maintain her responsive presence in on the Instagram social network.


While expressing regrets at the discouraging situation of her social life on Instagram, the vibrant, creative and unique female celebrity Disc Jockey Barbie, told our Correspondent that the situation haven't in any way affected her career and proactive engagements in sustaining the undeniable task ahead of her, especially in the disc jockey business.

In Abuja days hours ago, a former House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Victor Ngumah has received the prestigious African Royalty Award as "Royalty Young Personality of the Year in Africa". He was presented the Award by Team Members of Africa Royalty Awards led by Mr Duke at his office in Abuja.

The Chairman of South East governors'forum and Ebonyi State Gov, Engr Davi Umahi was yesterday disappointed at the goverment lodge, Owerri in Imo State. Governor Umahi was said to had gone to Owerri to engage the two Leadership factions of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in reconciliation deal to restore peace in the sociocultural organization.

Sources from the venue of the meeting in goverment lodge said immense and unpretentious anger registered on the faces of both Gov Davi Umahi and Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, who were conveners of the reconciliation meeting.
Trouble leading to abrupt end of the meeting started, when the two governors backing the ambition of Prof George Obiozor to be the President General of the Apex Igbo sociocultural organization requested that Engr Chidi Ibe relinquish his position for Prof Obiozor.

Our reliable source reported that Chidi Ibe was quick to inform the two governors and others in the meeting that he remained the authentic President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide. According to the source, the Deputy President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo from Chidi Ibe's Faction, Barr Uche Okwukwu told the governors emphatically that the kangaroo election held at the stadium in Owerri, where Prof George Obiozor emerged was grossly unconstitutional.
Barr Uche Okwukwu maintained that Engr Chidi Ibe was the President General elected on the dictates of Ohanaeze constitution.

In a related development, a reliable source informed that the absence of other five governors of Igbo speaking states at the meeting was a clear indication that they are not in support of the obnoxious manipulation of the election that produced Prof George Obiozor as Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General. This source maintained that these governors from Abia, Anambra, Delta, Enugu and Rivers states have joined the Igbo elders, stakeholders and intelligentsia to lend support to the authentic President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Engr Chidi Ibe, who was elected according to Ohanaeze's laid down constitutional stipulations.

Present at the meeting were Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, Chief Gary Igariweh, Prof George Obiozor and others.

To demonstrate that he can not be distracted by the antics of Obiozor and other renegades in Ohanaeze, Engr Chidi Ibe went on to inaugurate the newly elected state Executive members of Imo State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo shortly after leaving the goverment lodge.

Opening the ceremony, the President General expressed satisfaction with the patriotic disposition of Imo Ohanaeze members to serve Ndigbo. He thanked the Imo Ohanaeze President, Ambassador Azunna Akpelu for his commitment to keep the Imo Ohanaeze membership intact despite the deliberate confusion created by politicians to destroy the Igbo Apex sociocultural organization for their selfish Political Interest.

Engr Chidi Ibe advised the Imo Ohanaeze executives and local government Chairmen, who came for the inauguration to remain steadfast, promising that his tenure as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo will restore the Igbo pride and past glory.

The Imo Ohanaeze executive members and local government Chairmen drawn from the 27 local government areas of the state were inaugurated by the President General. Other National Executives who came with the President General to Grace the occasion included, Deputy President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Barr. Uche Okwukwu, the Secretary, Comrade Okechukwu Ishiguzo, national Publicity secretary, Hon Temple Chika and the national Youth leader of the Igbo sociocultural organization.

It was Arthur Conan Doyle who exclaimed, "I am a brain, Watson. The rest of me is mere appendix". The brain is the most amazing part of the human body. It is providence most definitely precious gift to humanity. According to Joel Davis, the human brain is the last and greatest scientific frontier. It is the most distinguishing characteristics between man and other lower animals. Man was an unlikely candidate for power in a natural world where dominant adaptions were speed, agility, jaws and claws. He ascended from the stone age because he was able to dominate and control his environment using the instrumentality of the wonder called human brain. Our remarkable cognitive ability has allowed us to invent the wheel, build the pyramids and land on the moon.

Societies that recognize their cognitive abilities and it's infinite capabilities are the progressives. They measure and process data, transmit and disseminate facts, formulate new concepts and ideas, discover and invent , organize and educate, create and imagine and harness the forces of nature for human ends. Where the brain power is highly activated, human civilization is always at an acceleration pace. They push the boundaries of human existence continually and bravely explore the enormity of the universe. On the contrary, where the brain is left in its natural state of redundancy, the resultant effect is stagnation. Based on the theory of use and disuse by the French biologist Jean Baptiste De Lamarck, the parts of an organism that the organism uses the most will undergo hypertrophy and will become more developed. The developed world seem to be where the human brain is put to optimal and efficient use while the most part of African countries appears where people have abandoned the use of their brains, leaving it fallow while they consume the products of other people's brain power .

God has specially endowed man with the cognitive faculty to enable him function in an unfinished world and to become a co-creator. When God told man in Gen.3:19 this, "By the sweat of your brow thou shall eat bread", the brow stands for the grey matter, the brain. That instruction entails employing the usage of the brain to harness and conquer nature for the good of man. It is such use that enables man to create value and advance his society. Every human progress started as an idea in the brain. That ability to translate conscious thoughts into action and to organize the action for the collective good is the beginning of human civilization. The internet of things, the invention of the aeroplane, good governance, IVF are all products of the human. They stem from man's desire to transform his life and develop his environment.

The African continent is so richly blessed with human and material resources. She has everything she needs to take her rightful place on the table of human development and fulfil her potentials. Her arable land, clement weather conditions, the richness buried in her soil, her huge tourism potentials, her beautiful cultural heritage and the massive human capital is the envy of the world. Unfortunately, she has found herself stuck at the lower rungs of development, a perpetual burden on the shoulders of the developed world and a willing victim of her stunted growth. Instead of looking at the man in the mirror, she takes solace in religion, outsourcing the usage of her brain and beseiging God for things he can do himself. God already equipped him with the necessary cognitive ability to conquer and reshape his environment. Only a mad man builds a huge cathedral and then goes there to pray for a job. Even while we lack basic health facilities, the number of prayer houses and miracle centres are rising astronomically. Huge manufacturing concerns close shop and in some cases relocate to other climes due to harsh operating climate and in their stead, worship centres spring up. While we import virtually every facility that aid human life, our biggest export remains God. Conversely and hypocritically too, our rating on the corruption index is alarmingly high while other less religious climes are very low on the same index.

Our salvation lies in a conscious and deliberate realization that we are the cause of our woes and only we can save ourselves. A sustainable development should be organically grown. It requires a look within, a deployment of our mental faculties towards homegrown problem solving, a rational enquiry into the cause of things and how those things can be harnessed to better our environment and make it more habitable. Every generation has a date with destiny. They either fulfill it or betray it. This present generation of Africans can seize it's destiny and unlock the vast and largely unexplored potentials of Africa through the instrumentality of the brain. The fault is not in our stars but in our selves. Apologies to Shakespeare.

We never really know the strength that lies inside us, until such time as we are challenged, pushed, cornered and or tested. When everything we own and or hold dear is threatened. When everything we stand for and or believe in, is offended by those who for whatever reason, choose to take us for granted or choose to underestimate the enormity of that strength that lies within us. That strength becomes a rage and an anger so visceral that we can almost taste it and yet which, the ill-informed, the arrogant and those who seek to undermine us, can never ever understand. While hell may have no fury as a woman scorned, love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination and as Dr King teaches us, power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands for love

On April 26th, 2020, Dr Joseph Ademola Olutosin Ajayi (Doc) passed away. It is not for any of us to say any death is untimely but after twenty-five years of a marriage, built on love, friendship, wisdom and mornings, days and nights of often raucous laughter, Doc’s passing away left an unfillable hole. The family home would never be the same and that seat at the head of the table will remain forever vacant. It will serve as salient reminder, that yes...the man really has gone.

With him till the literal end was Helen, his dutiful wife, partner, friend, confidante, and the X to his Y. Theirs, remains a remarkable yet very private story, the strength of which, outsiders will only now begin to see and understand, is forever fueled by the power that is love.

A wife loses her husband after 25 years of marriage. A wife loses both her husband and Father to her children. Ordinarily, we the civil and respectful, would give her space to mourn. Give her space and solace to gather herself. Give her space to articulate her story to her children. Give her space to somehow ease herself through that pain of loss. Give her space to grieve and cry. Give her the space that all of us will one day, also need. Yet, the blow that would kill a civilized man or woman, seems to heal the naked wounds, energize, and serve as delight to the savage. So it was, rather than let her mourn, others thought it best to try to attack and pillory Helen Ajayi, in the naïve belief that they would somehow muzzle, subdue and or suppress her. They would somehow airbrush 25 years of marriage and attempt to replace that bright narrative with a tired and dated story peddled through the delusions of a woman dumped a quarter of a century ago by her then husband and who today has a face etched with bitterness, jealousy and sadness.

Yet Dr Ajayi deserved so much more. Deserved, so much better and so, enter the power of love. Enter a woman doing what she has to do. Enter a woman doing everything, the depth of her family history has taught her to do. Enter a woman doing everything her husband of 25 years would expect her to do. Enter a woman doing everything her children would expect of her. Enter a woman whose courage and determination were not forged yesterday. Enter the power of love. Enter, Mrs Helen Ajayi.

Yet should anyone be surprised. Those who chose to doubt Helen’s resolve, should simply have taken a step back. If they had, they would have saved themselves a lot of the money they were forced to borrow to fight her. They would have saved themselves from the near universal humiliation they have now received. Saved themselves from the opprobrium now so easily and readily dumped on their heads. They would have saved the blushes of an acting and serving Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You see, this Helen, is Helen Prest.

Spelt P -R - E - S -T. In 1950, her grandfather and Anthony Enahoro founded the Mid-West Party. The Mid-West Party became part of the Action Group in 1951. As deputy leader to Obafemi Awolowo, fearless, Prest, Awolowo, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Anthony Enahoro and others fought for Nigeria's independence. Helen is the same person, who became our most remembered Miss Nigeria and still found the time to qualify as a Barrister and then secure her Masters in Law at Kings College London. Helen’s late Father, was one of the closest influences to Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari GCFR, Nigeria’s first democratically elected President of Nigeria, after the transfer of power by military head of state General Olusegun Obasanjo in 1979. More recently, after a five-year herculean battle, it required the full might of 12 supreme court justices of the United Kingdom to hold their noses and cause an uncomfortable systemic review of an 1896 Company Law principle, simply to thwart her younger brother’s attempts to seek justice. The simple point is, Helen does not look for anybody’s trouble but challenge, push, corner and or try to test her and her rich family history should tell you, that she will fight back. That family history taught her that whilst you may not always win, people will remember that you fought and you fought with dignity because you knew it was the good flight to fight.

Dr Tosin Ajayi had deliberately shielded Helen from the ugliness that is often a part of each of our lives. He’d showered her with love. He hadn’t suppressed or subdued her. She knew the nature of that (private) ugliness and the source of much of his anguish and so she focused in twenty-five years of marriage, on giving him the space to press the re-set button. Time moves on, people move on, people grow. Our lives are textures of rich chapters each having their own time and place. Dr Ajayi had moved on. Everything about him said so. After the torture of a solitary life living alone at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos from 1986 – 1996, it was in March 1996 that he phoned Helen whilst he was on a business trip in London. Her then secretary, Lola bears witness to this. This Dr Ajayi had called from London and had confidently declared that they were to be soul mates. He was going to marry her. Marry her he did and together, they one beautiful daughter. They remained entwined in each other’s lives until his time came on April 26th, 2020 at St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos

You don’t make up this type of story. You don’t rob a man of that part of his life. You don’t rob a wife of that. You don’t rob a child of that. That wonderful, beautiful story, that begun with love and to this day, is powered by that same love. Who are you to take your pernicious hand and try to destroy that? Helen didn’t know you and now, may choose not to know you. It might have been so different if you had joined her to mourn and joined her to celebrate a great Man. Celebrate a man too generous to a fault. Helen had waited to greet you; she had waited to join hands with you to give her beloved Husband the right and befitting last outing and the one we all know he deserves. Yet you did not do that. Instead, consumed by jealousy, you removed your mask and revealed the real you and unleashed what you thought would be the calumny brewed in the dark corridors of those with greedy minds. You tried to unhinge something that you did not create. Something you never created. You deeply scorned another woman, who, as God would have it, created happiness for her husband with ease and aplomb.Why? Ask yourself why? Why would you choose the savage path when the alternative and dignified path was yours, so easily to take?

Today we can announce that Dr Tosin Ajayi will be buried just as Helen had wanted. He will be buried just had Helen had fought so hard for. He will be buried with the minister preceding over the affairs just as he had wanted. His daughter will speak of her Father with her head held high and whilst her voice may be choked and tears may flow, her tears will be tears of joy, tears full of pictures of smiling happy faces, tears full of whispers of her father’s advice, tears full of dreams and ambitions spoken fondly about when her Father was with us. Tears that tell the real story of how her Mother fought and battled so that this day, February 11th, 2020 will be her day and will always be her Father’s greatest outing.

Never underestimate the power of love.

Minister of Agriculture Endorses Nigeria Young Farmers Network, Reiterates Calls For Stakeholders Support


The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nanono has endorsed the Nigeria Young Farmers Network and called for partnership and collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the sector to drive the vision of the NYFN Raise a Million Young Farmers in each State, mechanization agenda and other laudable programmes of the organization in line with the administration’s focus and commitment in diversifying the economy through agriculture.

He said the potentials of the Nigeria Young Farmers in the sector were enormous and needed to be optimally explored for its huge benefits including creating jobs and economic growth.

The Minister disclosed this when he received in audience, members of the Nigeria Young Farmers Network led by its Convener/Director-General, Mr Promise Amahah , in his office, in Abuja, Thursday, 4th February, 2021.

Nanono urged the youth to embrace the mechanization and the livestock programme of the ministry as it targets huge employment platforms for value chain development across board. For the livestock alone, the minister explained that the value chain include: cattles, horses, goats, feeds, diaries etc . In the mechanization value chain, Nanono said about 632 Local Government Areas across the nation will benefit from the mechanization process providing: Service Centres, Tractors, mechanics and administrators and will be driven by the private sector. He added that the mechanization programme will soon be rolled out, only awaiting the approval of the FEC.

According to him, “we are trying to refocus the ministry and broaden the perspective in the way and manner we look at agriculture, we are dealing with the development of the resource base of the country of which agriculture is one of them with over 60 million hectares of arable land to cultivate “.

Nanono reiterated the importance of synergy between agriculture and industrialization such as mechanization, strengthening of the research institutes for improved seedlings, reinvigorating of the extension services. He emphasized that the country is rich and the people must be rich at heart to tap the unlimited potentials in the agricultural sector.

In his remark , the founder & DG of of Nigeria Young Farmers Network, Mr Promise Amahah, said the group was excited about the potentials in the agricultural sector and determined to strengthen the ranks of the young people in Agribusiness to create a more wholistic eco system.

He said the group is focused on addressing the Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) Goals 1,2,5 and 8 which are focused in mitigating and eradicating hunger, poverty and also achieving inclusive growth. Hence, it was unveiling a programme tagged “Raise a Million Young Farmers Initiative”. He said the programme targets youths across the country.

Promise also explained that the partnership is a moral boaster for youth engagement in agriculture as it will help to further unlock the potentials in the sector. He said that it will also connect young people in agriculture and raise young Nigerian farmers.

With the growing spate poverty with emphaisis on the negative effects on children, especially in areas of malnutrition, a non governmental organisations known as Juliana Childhood Initiative is set to kickoff another salvage program in Benue state from February 2021 to support children from the ages of 2 to 10years, with proper nutrition, safe feeding practices, train their parents on proper hygiene, instant medical attention and provide them with basic needs.


Speaking with the Founder of Juliana Childhood Initiative, Mrs. Juliana Onyexhe Ali, she stated that the campaign is aimed at engaging prospective interventions for over 1000children in Nigeria and across Africa. She further noted that the previous campaign in Nasarawa state few months ago was indeed a success, hoping that with the commencement of its campaign in Benue state, more children will be beneficiaries of its instant intervention in areas of providing basic needs, instant medical attention and other notable supports fr children and their parents in Benue and other states across Nigeria.

Considering the philanthropic capacity of Ms. Juliana Alu, the Founder and Convener of Julian's Childhood Initiative and the ongoing Campaign To Support 1000Children" respectively, her impacts and humanitarian initiatives has continue to support the development and advancement of humanity, especially the welfare of children and their Guardians.

The malicious information making rounds from popular blackmailing blogger Gistlover are mere false reports and targeted at tarnishing the image of the vibrant and impact-making Billionaire Oil Magnate. According to a post to clarify the situation, the Founder of Belema Oil, Mr. Tein Jack-Rich, stated that great news and achievements for societal advancements are not given widespread publicity, instead false propaganda are being sponsored to discourage prospective visions for those in critical need.

He further stated that he has never seen such faces before, heard of the names and has no such closeness in magnitude with Actress Destiny Etiko.
