Moving man met his luck today..a female rider (late 50s) ish on bolt comfort from Lekki phase 1 to Lagos Marriot ikeja gave me 100k extra today just for waiting 2hours for a stop at palms shopping mall. All these while I have been suffering myself on indrive until I repainted my 2012 Honda Civic and got my bolt inspection done last week. Indrive will never see my brake light again. Tomorrow we go again. God is Good.

I carried four ladies from Surulere to Akoka. While in the car, they were discussing about men. How men are grapist, and all manner of b@d things about men. While they were talking, I did like I was not in the car with them.

With the way they were shouting, you'll know obviously that they wanted to get my attention to talk but I ignored them.

At some point, one of the ladies tapped me so hard at the back asking if I'm offended with their discussion but I said no and kept mum again.

It seems they got pained by my silence. At the end of the trip, they rated me 1 star and reported my account.

Hell has no fury like frustrated old Nigeria women.

As much as I prefer taking female riders, some of them are so rood and unreasonable.
Earlier this month, I picked one from Ketu side going to Surulere, when I drove reach Alapere side, I confirmed her destination area to her that it's Surulere, she said no ooh, that the address she put was Egbeda.
Na there I know say me and her go get problem.
I parked and told her to book another ride that I had no intention going to that Egbeda axis.
She was reluctant and said how would she now start booking another ride from here.
But based on say she was my first ride of the day, I billed her extra based on distance and timing differences, she even priced it down, I just accepted make she no use bad spirit start the day for me.
Took her to the destination in Egbeda and she paid.
Few moments later, Indrive sent me warning notification (1st time ever) of requesting for extra payment from rider. My driver star dropped immediately.
I knew it was her handwork, na so I went straight to her ride request on my list and reported her with 1 star.
Make two of us share the grace.

Airport pickup for Local airport na stress, from driving up that building u go come dey find where to park, jst pray your rider no get mood swing cancel coz you have one hour to leave the parking (N3,500 which Uber add to the Fare) every other hours you use na you go pay from your pocket.

I don’t if it is just me ,the motivation to keep getting more jobs done on this app keeps declining , though I’m facing some emotional stress and I’m prioritizing rest for a while now ..But not getting past 3/4 trips in day and averaging 30k or less makes me worried ..I’m not pushing myself hard enough though coupled with this fuel economy that adds to it ,with little profit to take home and not many juicy trips ..I hope it gets better in coming months ..

Reduce your work days driving.
If you've been in the hustle for 3years and above, you've tried.
Reduce the days you work to 4 days, using the rest of the days off driving.
Motivation go come.
Even with 4 days work in a week, you go have good net profit.

From 7:30am, it later start by 2pm. After i drove 150meters i enter gutter wey dem comot the slab bumper first tear . I first burst laff. Na one generous man wey dey come from church help me lift am while i drive out of the gutter.

The man advice make i park adjust the bumper so as to manage am reach destination, naso i unknowingly off Engine, since then reach now e no gree start

Motor can be running 100% fine and go bad the next minute

Now i dey battle bumper and Kickstart problem, if Oil sump still intact sha

There was a Sunday I experienced this, when work was going smoothly.
I hit the head until my car started, I just went home straight and called it a day, as per say I no fit access my rewire and no way to resolve the issue.
Once your car start, abeg just dey go house go rest, continuing will ruin more than your day.

U will find those lucky trips ones in a while but it's not sustainable except u just drive for fun and not for any monetary target.
I have used Indrive and it's not compatible with me and my earnings, I have challenged anybody using Indrive to show me Profit (after fuel and commission of 50k daily)
Pope and Glith-ronix are grandfather's in Indrive but they no fit. But babies in Bolt or a combination of both Apps can do this without stress.

No serious high earner on Indrive, na prayer and fasting u go dey do daily to get trips and meet your target. Some days will be good but some days will be very very bad. It's not like that on Bolt, everyday is a good day, provided u can put in d hours

Then driver is paid salary.

One will work from morning till 6pm and the other take over from 6pm, both of them are expected to remit 50k each daily. I learnt they are trying to phase out gasoline ⛽️ cars. Someone should pls confirm.

If this is true, then they're as daft as nig. govt.
Every move that the nig. govt. has taken to take over the e-hailing business keeps failing.
They started with lagride, it failed.
Lagride brought EVs, it's not making it as we speak - heading towards failure.
If the e-hailing companies should also go into the EVs, it will fail woefully, cos no driver would park his own car to go and apply for it.
Those without cars would wreck their mumu expensive EVs for them in a short period of usage.
Oh, they want to phase out CNG as well?
Something that the government is even trying to expand.
Nigeria can't survive on all innovations - this is a reason why many things are not working in the country as they have been trying to force them in, because we still have a very long way to go.

But It's different from drop off that u will come back and continue your daily hussle.
I prefer to go to Ijebu ode that's outside Lagos than to go to Dangote refinery or Badagary that's still within Lagos.

That my sagamu client na half day - transition always btw 3/4pm, then get back to Lag. in the evening time.

But that Mowe (to & fro) trip was a sharp one, but carried some briefcases when coming back to Lagos and 50k billed.

Charging the same 50bucks for Ijebu ode trip will never be my portion.

Some rider will ask for offline to another place when dropping at their destination, I always come out clear that "I WILL CHARGE HIGHER".
When I give my price, some of them go run.

No vex, last Friday, I carry someone from alapere go Mowe, to & fro 50k. In fact, to me, it wasn't enough, but due to who introduced me to them.

E get one guy wey I dey always carry go sagamu to and fro (on Sundays) 120k, from Gbagada. Evidences dey ohhh incase you wanna ask.
Na only this last Sunday we no go because he had something doing in Lagos.
Next Sunday, we going again.
If I'm to go to Ijebu ode, to and fro or not, 120k is the minimum.

Tint permit talks should be scrapped and ruled out totally, cos it has no security measures to stand.

Normally, using led light is an offence. But Nigeria problem has gone beyond arresting motorists for led lights. Some don't even know how to use full light, you will flash them, they won't burge or they don't even know when to put it off in some instance, in traffic, busy street with street light, everywhere they are on.
The worst are the Keke napep and bikes, some are using colour led light and always flickering it, endangering their life. Very funny guys. Flickering the liight and inconvenienting others is vibes for them. .
Those using led light should know how to use and consider other road users.

I have a serious problem with those 'supposed' experienced drivers that use high/full beam lights anywhere, anytime.
I carried one woman yesterday night from island going to mainland, she said my headlights were not bright enough.
I smiled and flashed my high beam lights, make she see how bright they were.
I told her you don't drive with your full lights anyhow, except to flash/signal, or for a quick and short clear view for roads where needed, or lonely road.
Most people are so used to driving with full lights and it's very annoying.
As a driver, don't you know you're affecting other drivers and pedestrians' views with your full lights on Heck!!!
Learner drivers everywhere - damn!

I have a challenge right now and I'd need you guys to help give guardians. I have a Rav4 4plug 2007 which I have been using for private. So buh I want to use it for this buisness for just this year bcus I took a loan for a buisness but tinz dint go as planned which made paying hard. I work 9 to 5 and during weekends I'm free. So my plan is to work from 5 to 11pm during weekdays then weekend full time. With this fuel wahala is it possible for me to net 200k per month so I can use it together with my salary to offset the loan monthly. I don't want to convert to cng as it's just this year.

If 200k net per month is your target, then weekend (sat. & Sun.) alone is enough for you.
Don't work weekdays, bro.
As a 9-5 worker, use your week days to rest after office work.
