I can never be caught in a long traffic while using Indrive. @the bold - na where the real talk dey be this. Plus the price was very, very poor considering the traffic condition on that very day. But raising that point wasn't necessary. Much respect, boss. |

Hackney P (non-scence) This one, too (non-scence). The only things I owe the government are car particular, road worthiness, Insurance, driver's license. If indrive wan hack themselves for leg, make dem dey suspend drivers wey refuse to do am. This government is just up for no good - looking for every route to hook everyone for their web. Why are they putting too much muscle on e-hailing wey we dey manage use survive? The only situation that would make me succumb to all these úsé-lé#ss requirements the government has been trying to impose on us is if there's no alternative source of livelihood for me. Awón weyrey. Nelochukwu: Bro Uber OVER compensates for traffic. More than bolt. Uber is King abeg. U might spend just 2 or three hours in traffic and rider can be spammed 30k. Even way above wetin the completed trip for cost sef. Uber has got ur back broski. Atleast dey had mine wen I was driving. But anyone who uses Uber can also testify what I'm saying to you. Iz open knowledge the kinda work Uber dey put in for this e hailing business. Iz not just appreciated cause to drive with them sef require proper documentation and KYC. But once u r locked with them bro u won't wanna leave dat app. Their commission is constant not like bolt(anini of ehailing) Be like I go download Uber for December's hustle as una dey hype am like this. Till then sha. Much respect, sir. |

Kumuyiii: Lol na before adey fear, now no more.... Just go to the park, they'll meet you there.... If it's international, same rule.... When you're sure they're out of arrival, you can go meet them, after paying ur parkin ticket. I sabi the airports cruise very well. It's not about that, I just 8 the airports entirely. I no know why. tobby98: I can't even say but at the international arrival, are you allowed to pick a rider? Coz I saw them clamping one guy's vehicle who apparently is carrying a rider with her few luggage Picking a ride from all the airports is a no ❌ for me, though. I asked that question so that you can shed more lights to your warning. The driver whom fell prey to those clamp guys must be a newbie or, probably didn't know how airports operate. Him don learn be that. I can't even remember the last time I took a trip to any of the airports. I detest going those places except the trip fare carries heavy weight. Much respect, boss. |

Dabadwela: 3rd party doesn't cover owner in cases of accidents, theft and fire. Everybody knows what 3rd party insurance covers and that's all I need. Comprehensive is just a flex if the (e-hailing) driver has the fund to give them. Abi any driver on this platform don report theft of their car or fire incident before? Btw, the person I quoted asked if both insurances cover the work and my response was YES. Just like a friend of mine who has both insurances, I am always like, "oga wetin be ur problem? Kumuyiii: Lol i don't know where ure staying, but if I have a rav4 4plug, with where I'm staying in Abraham Adesanya, I'm not going to be doing any 200k salary office work, unless it's to boost cv. By God's grace i can make that salary in a little over a week, God showing me mercy and my car no worry me. Chai! This your residential area na baddeest location for trips. If you position anywhere around Abraham Adesanya, na only God knows where those trips dey come from - not those yanmayanma trips ooh. Though, I've not gone beyond Orchid this year, but when that area was a good-to-go area back then, Abraham Adesanya used to be a hot cake, I don't know about now. What I know of now is the traffic conditions on daily basis for there. Abeg how una dey take cope over there? Much respect, boss. |

Atoos: It’s currently 6:06 am now and my research has brought me to this thread but there are too many messages to filter out and so I’m asking this question, I’m thinking of starting bolt/uber on the side, mainly weekends as my full time job takes my weekdays, I have an inherited rav4 07 model that I’m thinking of using . Now the thing is I hear e hailing isn’t as profitable part time than full time and I need something on the side that can complement my salary of 200k (which continues to shrink in spending power on the daily, I can’t even afford to drive to work ) As someone that doesn’t need to remit money to any other party since I own the car (technically) how profitable would be running uber bolt on the side (sat and Sunday) I’m thinking in a month I should be able to add 100k net to my monthly income, this would give me some breathing space at least
Is this achievable ? You're on the right track with your vehicle (if it's 4 plugs, not V6). At the end of the month, you will smile and shake your head for your salary. But you have to understand the scope of the hustle and sabi driving very well and carefully, and understand the codes of driving in Lagos. You will acquire all these when you don start the hustle. Good thing is that your hustle is just for the weekend, which is a good start for new (e-hailing) drivers. I just hope that in the next two months, you won't be tempted to dump your "200k" salary job for Uber/bolt hustle. 😁 Much respect, boss. |

ebiye55: This lekki/ajah road is becoming something else o. The terrible roads and traffic for the whole day
Be like na to dey avoid that area for now. It's really bad The whole of island is a total shadow of itself. Island used to be the best part for people doing short trips, but the story has changed. I don't understand how we go get ministry of roads, FG and state government wey claim to dey transform country for good and things are getting worse under their watch. Island of all places should never be in this current state. The government knows what it's doing - dey want make we suffer very well and start begging for their interventions. The traffic on the whole island is due to the conditions of the roads. What tha heck! Much respect, boss. |
