Danremmy: someone booked me to island, I normally don't do trips to island. I plant myself at yaba, surulere, tire mushin and ikeja. I know how to charge for those places but the island is like survival of the fittest. Men are picking ikoyi to ikeja for 8k, fgs!🤮 Someone said that those drivers are mostly Suzuki and electric car users. So, they are on their own. Much respect, baba. |

Danremmy: I am not sure the drivers on the island(ikoyi and lekki) are using same fuel as others. Because what are these ridiculous prices you people are accepting🥹
This riders will bid rubbish price, before person try to negotiate, you will see "ride accepted"
Omo this people are not helping other drivers who have targets to meet Ikoyi and VI are the least places to expect a well-charged trips. Lekki phase 1 self is not left out, just that it gets better some times. But once you enter from Ikate - Jakande/Osapa - Chevron/Orchid, your chances of getting good trips increase. Drivers be planting themselves in VI, Ikoyi and Phase1. Much respect, boss. |

Latonal1: Where are places to work that are good due to bad road flooding and rain you people should tell me please The entire Lagos roads are not in perfect condition now, just avoid the worst areas and manage the ones that are fair. Places like Ago Palace/Festac/Amuwo Odofin/Mile 2 and its environs/Apapa/Ikorodu/Ikotun-Egbe-Ejigbo/the whole Ojo axis, should be avoided by all means. For island, updates have shown areas with extreme flood, na to avoid dem. The rainy season that we are is really exposing the poor quality of roads they have done, and are doing. There's a lot of road repair awaiting the government once we enter dry season. If you can avoid the avoidable, just manage the ones wey you enter with unexpected flood. Much respect, boss. |

This one wey una don dey plenty wey dey switch to CNG like this (hmmmm). Yeah, I have lots of friends using the CNG and one of them is even a professional installer wey dem dey yab me say I still dey use fuel for this hustle. Some been using it over two years and still counting. The temptation to switch is real, mehn. At least, from what I've gathered so far, all you need is CNG of about 11k or less to gross you what fuel of 35k will do. That's a huge saving in a week. All my friends can't lead me to a wrong path, abi? And from some testimonies I've seen left and right. Hmmmmmm. Okay oooh. |

VaselineCrew: Omo, I have a funny story from yesterday
So I get to the pickup, lady enters the car, already with an attitude and asks what is the name of the person you came to pick
I told her, I can't tell her that, cause someone could just say "Yes, that's me"
So I told her my name, and politely asked her for her name.
That's it oo, she just started shouting, "I don't have time for this rubbish, or should I come down? Lets be going abeg"
I asked again, sorry I can't leave until you tell me your name
She goes again, "Should I cancel or what?"
I just told her to please cancel, then she called me "Devil Man" and slammed my door, chai
Why would I want to take a ride with a hysterical person that can't even tell me her name?
All other riders nowadays will just simply say their name and trip starts.
Na wa
Immediately after that, I got a ride from a nice father and his sons with a smooth experience and it made me ponder on that lady, like... I'm still trying to figure out why instead of stating your name, you start throwing a tantrum before the ride even starts and you expect your driver to be comfortable with such attitude? You know whether she dey on heat? I hear say that thing dey make some wumen misbehave. Much respect, boss. |
