Politics / Re: Man From US Claims DSS Picked Him Up For Questioning (pics) by GlobalVillager: 11:01am On Jan 14, 2016
knightsTempler:
To tell the truth, I am engulfed in roaring flames of tremendous anguish and laden with sorrow. Allow me to say that the joy I should naturally feel for such a potent victory awarded to buhari is destroyed by fear of what it MAY cost us. Buhari's disguise is so perfect and complete, expertly masking his nefarious schemes and personal ambitions, professing change in the most appealing language and manner that we treat his ambition with incredulous complacence. A man who, in the past, perfidiously isolated freedom of speech from the people, encouraged fanaticism, held bigoted views on religion and ethnicity, and voiced malicious profanity of the worst degree with his words clearly purporting violence. People criticized GEJ openly in all ramifications, even mocked the first lady without known repercussions. This time, you may have to learn how to cage your tongues and present proper civility. It is said that a child can play with its mother's breasts but not with the father's testicles. Beyond the usual rhetoric on good governance, discipline and his appeal to base sentiments, buhari has usually been hypocritical. Some people raving mad about the new-fangled parlance "CHANGE" are just products of the 90s. They haven't the minutest idea the specie of cobra on transit to the seat of presidency. Never mistake the glaring teeth of a chimpanzee for a smile. Nevertheless, we pray for the best. I'll only find myself disappointed with this nation when the same people who, today, are bellowing "CHANGE HAS COME" are found tomorrow in despairing opposition to what they once embraced with epileptic lunacy and blinding sentimentality.
It looks like you have something to say but you have said nothing
Religion / Re: 10 Reasons Why You Should TITHE... by GlobalVillager: 3:30pm On Oct 25, 2015
I have read all the reasons but im still not convinced.

My simple question to all tithe collectors and tithe givers is WHAT HAPPENED EATING YOUR TITHE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD as stated in Deuteronomy 12:17.

When this is answered, I will come back and tell you why I'm not convinced by your post.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Are Nigerians Scared Of G.N.L.D by GlobalVillager: 3:48pm On Aug 07, 2015
SylarsMcQuins:

If all dese are true then why are pple runing away from it?

Im not going to talk about GNLD alone but on all Network Marketing company

A Minister in Nigeria once said that most Nigerian graduate are not employable and we all went agog insulting him and calling him all sorts of names. I realised that this statement from the minister is somewhat true. Network marketing requires a lot of both soft skills and hard skills to succeed and very many of this companies are ready to put you through on this skills as long as you dont quit. These are the same skillsets that you will need in any job you are employed to do.

Ability to see an opportunity in every situation is really lacking in our youths and this is what most of them are displaying here.
I can bet it that 80% of people who has commented here have never tasted any of these companies but they will pass comments just to hide their weaknesses.

GNLD is never a scam, but some of the desparate elements in the business are giving it a bad name by promising people a job rather than the gentle man way of giving invitation.

I have never done GNLD before but Network Marketing have introduced me to great people in my life. I make money from it but the values it has given is far greater than the income.

Nigeria youth should stop the blame game and hate game. Opportunity sometimes come wearing rags.

Politics / Re: BAKARE: A Man After Buhari's Heart - Thisday by GlobalVillager: 1:47pm On Aug 02, 2015
hinwazaka:
What a joke. You probably came up with this because of his inclusion in the team that escorted PMB to the US. Well let me clear you on some schematics you didn't see while fathoming this parody.
The relationship between PMB and the pastor ended the moment the ACN brokered the deal for the Osinbajo VP candidature. Just so you know PMB does not give a hoot about anyone but PMB likewise the pastor. Both men are Narcissistic and very selfish and it was the hand of God to ruin their chances of getting to Aso rock together. If that had happened it would have been a catastrophe because we will have seen a case of one ship, two captains. The only reason for the selfish pastor's inclusion was to go to the US with the original team known to Obama and the Democrats, to fool them into believing that all was well. But as expected the Americans saw through the charade, and briefed with already compiled reports, FIRED the APC. That is the short and long part of the story. Am afraid its not a Happily ever after story but rather will end up a TRAGEDY

It is so obvious you do not know this man called Pst Tunde Bakare.

Politics / Re: Rise Up KOGITES Against All Odds! Time For Us To Wake Up by GlobalVillager: 3:54pm On Dec 28, 2013
I weep every time I step into my state.
No good leader since 1991
No good road both state and federal ones
Ajaokuta steel industry is still crawling after 30 years
We have obajana cement and not even 1% reduction in unemployment in the state
Our senators and honorables think of their pockets and pockets alone
Our chairmen and councellors are opportunists
Lokoja, a confluence town, has become an eyesore even to passerby
Armed robbers have taken over our road because of the potholes and ditches

Yet i dont think you can get to any higher institution in nigeria and you wont find us in large numbers, either as students or lecturers. Go to unilorin, abu, atbu, unijos, futa, ui, unilag, unad, bida poly, uniabuja, kad poly, uniben, just to mention a few.
In the federal parastatals we are highly represented. In the private sectors, our illustrious sons and daughters are big players.
We are all in other states making it better for them.

Kogites, we have allowed ethnicity and tribalism to eat up our brains and that is why we cant think and cant stand against this rot.

Let me stop here because my heart is really heavy.

Let us SIT BACK AND THINK PLEASE

Whatever it will take to move this state forward, i am in full support .

Sam xiu lee: lol....couldn't stop laughing, the problem the SW have with uncle Jonathan is simple, they want him to deliver on his electoral promises and not give excuses,he was aware of boko haram before he asked for their votes,Jonathan has ruled them for 6 years nothing has changed,Awolowo was in office has a premier of the region from 1964 to 1960 yet no Nigerian president, dead or alive can match his legacies.
Most Nigerians, especially southerners, yoruba, edo, itsekiri, egun, urhobo, ikweris, ogogonis like uncle Jonathan for his personalities but they don't like his government.
BTW osun state was the only state in the southwest he didn't win in 2011.
Gej has being in power for six years and yet we can hardly feel his achievement in any sector, another four years will make it ten years, the longest serving President, pls he should make too, for another let's try someone else,he is just like IBB,Jimmy Carter a lot of people like them, but hate their regime/government.

Awolowo! Awolowo!! Awolowo!!! So, you dey office from back go front, no wonder them no give u another chance grin

The problem of Kogi West people is 70% internal and 30% external. Until they tackle the issue of hatred and beef among themselves, the maltreatment from the Igalas will remain.

Politics / Re: Thanks To The Multitude Of Sincere Nigerians On NL by GlobalVillager: 6:25pm On Jun 28, 2013
Sincere 9gerian:
There is a difference between opposing the President as a person and opposing any unfavourable policy or programme. If we voted the President in, then we should support him to succeed. If you vote a person in and withdraw your support or even oppose the person, it could be likened to a father who gave his son a bag of salt to carry to somewhere but at the same caused the rain to fall on that child. Meanwhile, that you support the president does not mean you cannot criticise or oppose any of his policies or programmes. But it is wrong and SENSELESS to oppose the president as a person.

Please, tell me one, just one of his policies that you have criticise constructively on this forum.

Raxz: if u are not in anyway current with the happn in Nigeria political land scale then u better read the handwriting on the wall bro

I'm still on the fact that you should speak for yourself.

How can you say one Gen. Onoja, who is only popular in his clan, is speaking the mind of the whole Middlebelt or North Central (whatever).

I'm from this zone but will never support any candidate from "core north", neither will I support your Jonathan.

Thats my point.
