BlackOnassis: If you read the comments without watching the video, one would think Mr. Fashola was not able to satisfactorily answer the questions. But the man actually did well. Ipobs/Wailers will die miserably for rooting for the failure of their own country. Its because zombies always choose to lie to their selves.. Thats how zombies also see the fastastically corrupt government to be successfully fighting corruption |

President Buhari has appeared twice in th. past. smh... Good help all Nigerian zombies |
Politics › Re: Why Igbos Are Out Of Mainstream Politics In Nigeria by globe16: 7:28am On Aug 13, 2016 |
maclatunji: [s]It is very simple, you cannot be conniving against the progress of Nigeria and effectively benefit from it.
This concept is not alien to you because a large part of your population are spread outside the Southeast and you behave well enough to be accepted as fellow Nigerians.
However, when it comes to national politics, you simply have consistently failed to be circumspect. Let me give you an example, Igbos were the noisiest in supporting the misrule of Goodluck Jonathan as President for 5 years. In that period, you failed to encourage him to build Nigeria, worse still to help develop your region that is ravaged by underdevelopment.
Now, that the man you majorly do not support is in power, you are encouraging subversion and beating the drums of war.
How then can you be political relevant in Nigeria? You cannot and will not be.
Oh, I forgot, you are fighting for Biafra. It would have been fun to allow you have it but you would mess that up and still want to eat from the rest of Nigeria like you currently are.
Sorry, you will not be able to eat your cake and have it. So, the choice is yours, become progressive in your political outlook or remain backwards in Nigeria.
You can make all the noise you want on the Internet, it won't change facts on ground.
Respect to my enlightened and sophisticated Igbo friends, you will forgive me ffor addressing your politically-unsophisticated brethren, making too much noise in Nigeria. [/s] so are yorubas in the mainstream politics of Nigeria? This is pure comedy.. Yorubas are now trying to save face after their candidate has been exposed as fraud. Yorubas want to be igbos so bad but its so unfortunate they cant catch up.. Anyway, wait for our next move |

Assuming the Chinese people visited Anambra like they did to Imo and have started investing like they are doing in Imo right now you will definitely acknowledge that as achievement.

Do a simple google search.. Nigerians need to be educated.. This was how they propped up Buhari, now you are singing Peter obi that didn't dualize any single road in his state for 8 years neither did he do anything about the insecurity in his state during his tenure.. Rubbish |

Am not talking about looters am talking about a man who managed anambra state well read my post again for more comprehension. What am saying is that pdp still have him as a material and we should not throw either apc or pdp away cos they have other Good presidential materials apart from buhari and gej is that too hard for ur comprehension? Peter obi is not different from the looters... His aide was once causght in Lagos airport trying to ferry 250 million raw cash.. I expect you push people like Chime who have outstanding achievements in enugu with no corruption cases |

Now he has been appointed to fix the power problem and you are here talking nonsense.. So if fashola cannot fix the power as minister, he should be rewarded with presidency? I dont blame you... Yes what about pdp ur post seem to say there is no more other options apart from gej? Be opened. [s]Is that not peter obi I'm seeing in pdp or is he just good enough for anambra state and not Nigeria.[/s] And later u come here calling ipob names for agitating abi? . eziokwubundunuwa: Fulani issues and Boko Haram has highly reduced as well as corruption. What we are experiencing in terms of economy is effects of dependence on oil and sabotage by nda which can only be solved easily through violence. IMO violence should be employed as a last option after the ongoing dialogue is exhausted. Right now if I was Buhari there is nothing extra I could do better than what is being done. but abagworo boko haram are now spraeding to Imo state unlike before.. Sanchez01: The truth is, no matter how hard I try, I just don't see it working.
I colleague engaged me at the office two days ago. It was an intelligent engagement, though our discourse was political. He clearly hates Buhari and his policies but he voted for him!
What changed? Corruption is not the only problem Nigeria is confronted with. We have many issues unattended to and the President is all after corrupt public officials like that's the answer to solving our economic anomaly. Dogara, the number 3 man, and Saraki, the number 2 man, are all roped with corruption charges at the moment. Nothing so far about the girls. Militants grow with each passing day, Fulani herdsmen are kings of the bushes, forests, streets and roads, Buratai, the COAS, has corruption allegations on his neck too. How about the common man?
I might be comfortable and doing well but would most Nigerians say the same? We never bargained for this. This isn't what we asked for. The only reason I'd vote APC in 2019 is IF Fashola is allowed to run. President Buhari is clearly not the answer we seek. Nigerians will troop out to vote Fashola that have spread darkness all through Nigeria in 2019.. Yeye

Progressive01: Okay, president Buhari "has no idea what to do", agreed. Now, my question is: kindly suggest one thing he could do to pull us out of the doldrums.
Recession of this nature where your reserve has been drastically depleted and your major forex earner has lost over 50% of its value is most difficult to surmount.
If you wanna diversify, where do you get the money to do so (remember you need forex to import the equipment for this since they aren't produced locally)?? You wanna export more of your nearly useless forex earner so you can start taking steps towards diversification and some criminals literally make that impossible.
I'm glad you admitted Jonathan wasn't an option no matter what. omenka now you have realized Buhari has pulled Nigerians into the doldrums from where GEJ left it but yet GEJ wasn't an option? Upside down logic... Funny are are also asking for suggestions for a braindead government.. |
