dear doctors, the solution is simple

....outsource your debt recovery

get the patient to sign the fees prior to treatment (get all the personal details as well i.e address place of work etc), if he/she fails to honor the agreement, simply hand over the case to debt recovery agents (consider them as modern day bounty hunters)- this agent should collect your fees plus a % for doing the dirty work. the % will be borne by the patient ofcourse. its a win -win situation.
and for the business minded folks- its a bizness opportunity to set urself up as a debt recovery agency... awoof money especially if you are a tout already just make sure you have legal backing.

I know that things are hard and times are tough but we should have a conscience when dealing with doctors. I saw a mallam being carried on a fellow man's back on my way to see my doctor some years ago. It was some minutes later they started looking for the man. He had an accident and they treated him and were awaiting the settlement of his bill only for his relations to sneak him out of the hospital.

Last 2 yrs a Lady delivered without bringing a pin to the hospital, not even a wrapper. In fact the baby was wrapped in d blue hospital bedspread meant for babies beds. I had to give them one of my baby's wear when I could not stand it. They were trying to outsmart the father of the girl in this case. The mother pretended she didn't know her daughter of about 28 was pregnant and didn't buy a pin to buttress her stand. Nigerians, fear them

well see it the way you want to see it. The truth is that every parent have a way of training their kids. Those sachets don't look empty. I've lost counts of the number of times I reprimanded kids who bought sweets as early as 7am. Obviously they were brought up that way.

Now to the issue at hand, it is possible that the poster wanted popularity, it is also possible that he saw them with the drinks.
