These are just the export terminals not talking about the numerous oil and gas flowstations and the oil Wells that criss cross the length and breadth of the Niger delta.

Senator David Mark has reacted to the death of a Catholic Priest, Reverend Father John Adeyi at the hands of kidnappers in Benue state, Urges the Catholic Community and the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that Father Adeyi was a true servant of God who gave his all to win souls for Christ

Calls on the inspector general of police and other security operatives to do everything necessary to bring the culprits to face justic.

David Mark in a statement by his media assistant, Paul Mumeh, wondered what a harmless Catholic Priest would do to deserve that kind of dehumanization and eventual murder by kidnappers.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, arraigned the duo of James Ogwuche Alex and Oklewu Ene Gina before Justice B.O Quadri of the Federal High Court,Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a 2-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only (N250, 000).


The petitioner, Professor Ndubuisi Eye, alleged that the suspects who are both students of Benue State Polytechnic hoodwinked him through an e-mail from a purported old friend by name Engineer Bartholomew requesting him to pay Two hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250, 000).to an ccount number which he did.
