Health › Marijuana - The Good Side And The Bad Side. by GMan650(op): 12:41pm On Oct 08, 2015
Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, stem, flowers and seed from the hemp plant 'Cannabis Sativa'. It is used as a psychoactive drug or medicinal drug. Marijuana has caused a lot of controversies in the health sectors of different countries because it has good benefits(some that can't be gotten from any other drug) and severe negative effects.
Some of the negative effects include: liver problem, heart diseases, lungs problem, poor coordination, immune system suppression, reduction of male sex hormones, reduced sexual capacity etc.
However, the positive effects are overwhelming as they include: Treatment of glaucoma(an eye disease which causes loss of vision)
- Reversal of the carcinogenic(cancer inducing property) effect of tobacco thereby improving lung health
- Control of epileptic seizures
- Decreases symptoms of a seizure disorder called 'Dravet's Syndrome'
- Prevents cancer from spreading
- Decreases anxiety
- Slows d progression of Alzheimer's disease
- Eases the pain of multiple sclerosis
- Muscles spasms can alo be helped
- Lessens side effects from treatin Hepatitis C
- Treats inflammatory bowel diseases
- Relieves arthritis discomfort
- Keeps skinniness and helps metabolism
- Spurs creativity of the brain
- Soothes tremor for Parkinson diesases
- Helps in treating Post traumatic stress disorder
- Protects brain after stroke and from trauma and concussion
The positive effects of weed now begs the question 'What level of Marijuana is safe? According to reports from Pharmacology expert Dr. Iverson "Laboratory animals (rats, mice, dogs and monkeys) can tolerate doses of up to 1000mg/kg, this would be equivalent to a 70-kg person swallowing 70g of the drug which is 5000 times enough to cause a high. Also, often symptoms of diseases are well controlled with doses equalling 10 mg of Cannabis or less per day; sometimes one inhalation might be enough to cure some symptoms.
With these, share your views whether Marijuana should be legalised in the pharmacology (drugs) market or not and state reasons why.

BTW, I've never smoked weed my entire life before somepeople will start making comments that weed don spoil my life.

The second one is now halfway exhausted just 8 days in. Note: cos of this I stopped visiting instagram and even visit twitter seldomly. Pls, help me. Thanks.

Some people want to see people like this on the list

Simon Peter
Andrew
James
John
Philip
Batholomew
Matthew
Thomas
Judas Iscariot
Simon the Zealot
Judas
James.

Even when Jesus wanted to pick his disciples, he didn't go to the synagogues to pick them, he picked them from the streets. Some of them were ardent sinners like Matthew(tax collector) before he called them. If Jesus could do that how much more could PMB do?

And how long is it gonna take? Remember it took 16 years for an opposition to overthrow PDP at the helm of power. So if the PDP and APC are now together, I think their power will be 'unoverthrowable' cos the members are the ones who know the rudiments of politics in Naija.
