So I met this girl in school through a female friend, the friend was my neighbor though. I was once a victim of this scam.. precisely in Q1 2016 just before i left Nigeria. Same place with same trick. I lost 7k. The folk was selling Tekno Cannon 8. after accepting my offer, we needed to check if the charging port was ok. Thereafter i gave him the money, while he was recounting the money right in front of me and i was previewing the phone. Just immediately he said he can't sell at 8k that it is 10k and that was it. Immediately his colleague ran to him shouting "police!! police!!!... they both run off. I was there looking around to see the police but none. Then Checking my money it has been filled with papers nicely arranged and wrapped with 1k note.

I felt ashamed to even talk about it. I thought i was sharp and conscious. Moral of the Lesson " Any person Can be Scammed" it only takes the right Trick and Scammer..

The only ANTIDOTE is to talk about the Tricks, so as to awaken our consciousness !!!
