I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it.

A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! I thought about trying it. I figured "what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right?" Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!?, Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in.
In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly.
It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, WHY it works, Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. I feel so sad when I learn how many of our recent degree recipients from naija are just worthless.

talking about Nigerian education - a white piece of paper is better than a Nigerian University certificate.

The reason: academically delinquent lecturers cannot produce good students.

I once met a Nigerian who came to do a M.Sc in Industrial engineering in my school. He said he finished from ABU zaria. He woefully failed the M.Sc entrance exam - as in woefully, that they had to give him another entrance exam for B.Sc. He failed again. Yet he has a certificate saying he was a First Class ABU grad.

He had to do a lot of begging, had to go through remedial classes, took a lot of subjects with Undergrad students for about a year and a half before he was considered.

The end: he didnt finish the course. Why? he couldnt cope up with computer assignments, not to talk of lectures. I don't know where he is now.

I can relate with you my brother. There was a guy that transferred from a university to the one I was attending in the states. He claimed to be a 3rd yr student and has taken series of math courses back home.

When he was given a test here to measure his proficiency, he failed woefully. He re-registered for one of the math classes he claimed to have taken already in Naija and eventually had to drop out of the class because he just couldn't keep up with the work.

Very shameful indeed.

I agree with Ndipe that we need to instill values in our kids as we raise them. The rate
at which young men abandon their kids would dramatically decrease if they had been
raised with good values regarding taking care of one's family.

While we are not perfect in Nigeria (and Africa), I think we fare better in this regard
compared to some others.

Unwillingly or willingly? Cos, if it is unwillingly, then you can't blame the 'victim', but if it is willingly, you can blame the victim.

The problem is that the guys are abandoning their children even though the girls are getting pregnant for them unwillingly. The guys can't use the fact that the pregnancy was unplanned as an excuse not to be part of their children's life. So even though a girl gets pregnant unwillingly, the guy is to blame if he doesn't step up to the plate and
be a father to the child.

While I don't dispute the fact that some women use pregnancies to trap men, I
sincerely believe that the overwhelming majority of the young single mothers,
particularly in the U.S., get pregnant unwillingly.

They are just having sex for the fun of it. They fail to realize that a guy that is a
smooth talker, dresses nice and so on, may not necessarily make a good father. A
lot of these girls get pregnant for guys that don't even have a job, so whether the
guy is responsible or not is not always as important to these girls. It is the "cool"
factor that takes precedence.

The situation among Black Men in the U.S. is particularly alarming. Even though you
never planned to get a girl pregnant, once you have a baby, you need to face the
responsibility. Go and get a DNA test if in doubt about the paternity. Why neglect
the child ? Really Callous men I tell you.

This is very saddening, but I must admit mostly it's correct.

Our President is too busy trying to maintain his hold on power and get back at
his political opponents to pay attention to the security of lives and property in Nigeria.


The report is very saddening though, I must admit.

I think Transcorp Hilton, Abuja is the best hotel in Nigeria, but there are decent hotels in Lagos &
Port harcourt too.
