Autos / Re: Transmission Fluids, Getting The Right One For Your Vehicle by Gobi38: 3:23am On Apr 23, 2013
@ sooper rescue – Here is my transmission dilemma. I have a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan recently shipped from the US. When the minivan was cleared at the port and driven out it won’t shift into reverse. Its shifts to D (Drive), P (Park), but not R (Reverse).
Can your team help out, I can arrange for the minivan to be toll to your workshop. Below are the online answers I got when I goggled the issue:
“Some Chrysler transmissions, for example, can experience a "bump shift" condition. There is nothing wrong with the transmission, but the computer needs to be reprogrammed to recalibrate the shift points. In Chrysler three-speed automatics, changing the fluid to ATF+3 can also help eliminate harsh shifts. ATF-3, ATF-4 and Chrysler 7176 are the ONLY approved fluids
Some transmission problems may require "retraining" the computer. Chrysler TSB 18-24-95 describes the retraining procedure that allows the computer to relearn the correct shift points using the following procedures:
Disconnect the battery to erase the computer's memory.
Reconnect the battery and start the engine.

Excellent leaning thread Brabus!

Can we get a quote just for casting (like 3 boards and in between pillars) without laying the blocks? . Just mix and pour concrete. The reason without blocks is some people may intend using different designs for their fencing like using a combination of rod/iron and blocks.

You can give us a quote for one plots size (650 – 750 sqm) – requirement Raft fencing

@ Onye oma and Siga - Thanks for the advise. My sister moral is really down, she is no longer interested in re-applying. But come to think of it why should any Embassy judge you based on your course of choice. I have couples of friends that went to Medical school with a History Major undergrad (they just did some prerequisite courses). Who know if the Naija Lady that interviewed her was jealous of her being able to have family member that can fund her Canadian Education. A White Canadian will definitely see her point for choosing Global Management – All UN Agencies deals with Global issues in various fields – Science, Humanity, etc
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by Gobi38: 12:26am On Mar 27, 2013
Oga Sega – Need your Advise badly
If you recall I posted my sisters case in January this year when her study visa was denied after medical and paying school fees. Recap of what happened - One month after Medical – Embassy called her to go pay her tuition, I am her sponsor (Am based in Yankee) - I made payment and her school emailed her receipts which she submitted to the Embassy. Embassy called her 2 days after submitting receipts they have not received her receipts – she immediately went back to the Embassy to sort things out and Embassy confirmed all is well and her proof of payment has been noted. 3 weeks later CVAC portal was updated her document is ready for collection. She got to Ikeja, open package and saw denial letter with the following reason – no ties to Home country, no travel history, no personal asset etc. My people we were all shocked – why call her to go pay tuition when you are not ready to issue travel permit. Any way per everybody’s advice – we repackage and submitted in January. I included a detailed letter of what happened and address all reasons why she was denied (included property deeds of the house she inherited from my late dad, as other supporting doc. She was called last week to come for an interview – she went to the embassy last Thursday March 21th, A Nigerian lady interviewed her. Per my sister the lady was very rude, she accused my sister her degree and NYSC Certificate may not belong to her. My sister politely told her to contact UNILAG and NYSC Office to confirm if her degree / certificate are fake, then the lady changed the topic. The lady then told my sister her undergrad Degree (BSC in Bio-chemistry) is not related to the degree she wants to study in Canada (MSC in Global Management). My sister told her she chose Global Management because of her interest to pursue a career in any of the UN Agencies in Nigeria – and her science undergrad will be a value added to MSC in Global Management in the event any related UN science project is assigned to her. The lady ended the interview and told her “I cannot issue you a visa because there is no correlation in the degree you plan to purse with your current undergrad.
My sister picked up her package on Monday with a denial letter and only one reason was check – NOT A BONAFIDE STUDENT, NOT CREDIBLE.
My people is it worth the wahala to repackage and submit again? – Sorry for the long story

GuudGod:

Yes exactly,I backed it with a letter stating the reasons and I also involve my sisters lawyer ..and you should tackle the reason, behind ur sisters denial and give more evidence in support of the application and prayers..

Thanks! That is exactly what we plan in doing. Anybody that already got call for medical, and then instructed to pay their fees - and their visa was not issued. It’s probably due to an oversight from the visa officer, but they will never admit their mistake. Before contacting a visa candidate to do his/her medical, and then pay tuition - you must have done your due deligence to make sure they are qualified candidates for student visa
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 1:17pm On Jan 04, 2013
GuudGod:

I listed them earlier at the beginning of part 2...I will find a way to get the document listed again..but its not about document..its with the grace of God..

When I first submitted..It was like 7 or 9documents that I submitted and got called for medicals and was asked to pay board and school feen 4million plus.which I paid. After that,I was refused, based on ,I won't be able to sustain myself, when I get to canada.I replied in october and got my trv yesterday..after mailing CDHC on wednesday morning and got reply in the evening, that the visa officer,is yet to make decision.. And yesterday morning,my status changed...
Just package ur application well and truthfully..then back it up,with strong prayers..

@ GuudGod - Your case is very similar to my sisters, she was called to do her medical, and then told to pay her tuition and accommodation (which I did - I am the sponsor). But she was denied. We are planning to repackage and resubmit this month; her admission has been deferred to May session. Question for you - when you resubmitted, did you just added evident to challenge the reason you where denied from your first application? Did you include a letter letting them know what happened in your previous application (i.e. you were called for medical, paid tuition and was still denied?)
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 7:47pm On Dec 28, 2012
@siga – My sister went to the Embassy today, filled out the form at the gate, guys at the gate took the form inside. 10 min later an Embassy official called her (was a Nigerian Lady) – she said her case is closed and nothing can be done unless she reapplies. My sister pleaded with her to forward her case to any of the Visa Officer – the lady declined. My assumption is that probably the lady failed to include her Tuition receipts in her package and further investigation will point to her mistake.
So sad - I told my sister to reapply
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 12:52am On Dec 28, 2012
@ surecan - thanks for the insight.
I will tell her to reapply. Will update the house tomorrow. Good Night my people
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 12:36am On Dec 28, 2012
@ mercylicious - Kelly4top just answered your question
@ Kelly4top - Excellent analysis, before these guys call you for medical, instruct you to pay school fees, they have done their due diligence to make sure you the right candidate for student visa.
Somebody dropped the ball somewhere –but they will never admit their error. Best approach is to reapply and attached a letter citing what they did.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 11:47pm On Dec 27, 2012
Una go kill me with Jokes. I love you all and pray for goods new for those waiting. Let see what happens tomorrow, worst case scenario - I will tell her to reapply and attached a detail letter. But come to think of it – she was very ,very close to get it. Only Gods knows what happened. For those doubting her Medical may be the root cause – My people those guys are very smart, if her medical get K-Let , they will not call her to proceed with Payment of Fees – she was called twice to make Payment – on the 3rd and 10th of December .
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 8:57pm On Dec 27, 2012
@ siga - She submitted her Medical to VAC on the 14th of November. Embassy called her on the 3rd of December to Pay her school fees / accomodation. Her case is really complicated to decipher
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 8:40pm On Dec 27, 2012
@ Mercylicious: - This is a very complicated case to decipher. When she was called for medical, the Embassy did not request for proof of tuition/accommodation payment. Embassy called two weeks after submission of medical to go pay her fees ASAP. Why did they contact her to make payment? - If she can't get in tomorrow, I will tell her to reapply
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 8:30pm On Dec 27, 2012
@ Idomaboi: - The Embassy called you for medical, then requested you pay your fees right? if that is the case what decision are they still waiting for. Bro please pray for God's favour.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 7:35pm On Dec 27, 2012
Correct Siga - Both were paid in full. Tuition and accomodation, School comfirmed wire tranfer from Yankee and issued PDF receipt for both.

@ siga - Oga Saga- Thanks.
My sister will go back tomorrow – I am the sponsor, I have also gone to Canadian on-line Portal (https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=lagos) to upload my case , I cited the VAC case tracking number and attached proof of fees payment. I strongly believe the Canadian made a final decision when they did not see her proof of Fees / accommodation Payment. My people I don even buy her ticket when status changed on Monday - the devil is a LIAR

My people - Point of Correction. I just confimed from my sister, the Lady that called her from the Embassy was a Nigerian Woman not a Canadian as stated in previous post. I am based in Yankee, I have to called my sister in Naija to confirm this. Some thing is missing - House do you think the Lady did not submit the proof of Payment to the Canadians
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 4:13pm On Dec 27, 2012
@ Saga - Na canadian oyinbo lady called am. The Lady called her on the 3rd of December to pay her school fees ASAP and report back with proof of payment. Fees/accommodation were paid on the 7th, she submitted proof of payment on the 1oth in the morning. Same lady called her again in the afternoon - she is waiting for proof of payment. My sister went back to the embassy on the 11th, luckily we was allowed in, she met the lady and she confirmed every thing is ok, they have received proof to payment.

@ mercylicious - Her refusa letter is the normal letter folks that don't make it to medical stage gets.... Reason as follows : 1 .Your travel History , 2. Family ties . 3. Purpose of visit etc.

My quesiton why invite her for medical, call her to pay school fees, make a second call "we are still waiting for proof of fees payment" - This is big shocker for me. My poeple until you get visa for your hand - just keep praying for FAVOR.

Oga Siga – Thanks o.
Her school starts on the 7th of Jan. She is going back to the Embassy tomorrow with proof of fees payment , why did they call her to make payment? I think somebody just rush and made a quick decision when they did not see her proof of payment
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Gobi38: 1:39pm On Dec 27, 2012
My people – I just found this tread when researching if student visa refusal can be appealed – Here is story o - My sister was called for her Medical in november, she completed her medical and submitted her package to VAC on the 14th of nov. On the 3rd of December – she got a call from the Embassy to pay her one year school fees and accommodation, all fees where paid on the 7th of December. She went to Canadian Embassy on the 10th of December (10am in the morning) and submitted her payment receipts at the Embassy (her school emailed her a pdf receipt format). Same day in the afternoon Embassy called her back claiming they still haven’t received her proof of payment; she informed them she has submitted the receipts in the morning. The following day the 11th of December – my sister went back to the Embassy (luckily for her – the Naija folks at the gate let her in). She met the Canadian Lady that called her the previous day – the lady confirmed everything is ok now and that they have received proof of school and accommodation payment. Since then my sister has been monitoring her status on line – Luckily her status changed on Monday the 24th. She went to VAC today (the 27th of December) to pick up her package – my people guess what – SHE WAS DENIED. My question is why put her through the stress of doing medical, calling her to pay one year school fees / accommodation. My people this one no be ordinary eye.
I am suspecting they did not received her proof of fees payment – then somebody just made a quick decision and denied her . The reason for denial don’t even make sense …….. letter included …. Sorry we cannot issue you visiting visa ( she applied for student not visiting ) ….. for the following reason …….. no travel history ……. No ties to Nigeria ---------------------------- This is a letter you issue to folks that don’t make it to medical stage …… I am really confused

Segcy,

Per your comment " The size of the Build-up area is about 300sqmt(48% of a standard plot)" I am assumming the size of the land should be about 700sqm, and a raft foundation fencing was done on this land. Can you give an estimate cost of what your client spent for the raft fencing. Thanks and keep up the good work
