PoliticsThe G5 Governors Are Not United by God1000(op): 7:27am On Feb 17, 2023
I don't need a soothsayer to tell me anything else, the so-called integrity group is divided.

The endorsement of Peter Obi by Benue state governor and his counterparts supporting other candidates is a clear testament.

Wike is very confused, I think he's thinking about his future survival just like Kaduna state governor.

The body language of seyi makinde of Oyo state shows that he doesn't want to incur the wrath of his people since he's seeking re-election.

Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi of Enugu and abia are stylishly supporting Atiku from the look of things.

He's not the president or CBN governor.

He doesn't have any authority to countermand the president.

He's not the supreme court either

But I couldn't care less seeing APC fighting each other

Expect to see more of old 200 hundred naira note starting from Monday. For now 200 naira note will be more available than the rest.
why should it be more available than the new notes when it will expire in two months time?

SmartPolician:
CBN will push the old #200 notes back into circulation because they don't have the capacity and materials to print more #500 and #1k notes at the moment.

I just hope they will monitor the distribution closely so that politicians and POS agents don't buy everything from banks. Those people are our biggest challenges now.
at the bolded, how do you know that? I think it's a deliberate move.

MadeInTokyo:
That 22 billion Tinubu money Which are in 1000 naira and 500 Naira denomination and stored in Kano state government facility meant for vote buying in the North West has become waste , useless and and now tissue papers, it will be hard converting them into 200 Naira notes with less than 9 day to election and CBN will not circulate up to 1 billion naira worth of 200 Naira notes back to the economy before election.
You are right, the lion of bourdillon is the biggest loser here

Hope you're not complaining?
Are you not happy again it'll affect Tinubu?
it will definitely affect Tinubu and other rogue politicians, but Nigerians will suffer it as well
PoliticsI Don't Think CBN Will Print Or Release More Old N200 Naira Notes by God1000(op):
From the look of things, CBN will try and make more new naira notes available instead of printing or releasing the old N200 naira notes into circulation despite the president order.

This means the few old N200 naira notes in circulation remains legal tender till the new deadline but the scarcity will persist.

The worst people can do is stoke the flames of their brethren to start some protests once they lose.

Nothing will happen. Buhari is after his gameplan and nothing else matters to him.

To punish people because of reasons best known to you is bad!
you are absolutely right, this policy is satanic.

The whole thing has turned counterproductive
