Learn from other people's mistakes, especially with the deplorable situation of nigeria. Even a rich man can fall from grace to grass, life has its ups and downs |
I don't know why some men marry numerous women, anybody still thinking of doing such in today's world should have a rethink. Yeah, some of our fathers and grandfathers did it due to ignorance, cultural/traditional and religious beliefs, but that was then, we should not do the same They gave birth to plenty children they could not raise, many of them ended up as thugs, gangsters, and firebrands tormenting the society. So many people are suffering today because of the poor decisions of their parents, so don't make the same mistake again. In our society, poor people born more kids than rich ones, your children will grow up hating you if you fail to provide them with proper care and good education. In some polygamous homes, children from different mothers often fight everyday, wishing each other bad, particularly if they are all living in the same house, and you will try so hard to satisfy all of them. Everything must be equally distributed among them to avoid unnecessary acrimony and bickering, this will put a lot of pressure on the man Any man that wants peace of mind should stick to one woman with 2-3 children, marrying one woman doesn't guarantee your happiness and peace of mind, but it's still better than polygamy. Forget about the happy beginnings, it doesn't always end well, the man will eventually die leaving the children behind to suffer. The king of my tribe married many wives with dozens of children, some of them became lazy and refused to work and learn when the man was alive because free money and food was coming daily until he died, many of them are regretting it now A word to the wise is enough. We all know where US president lives, which is white house but many people are oblivious of VP official residence. Number One Observatory Circle is the official residence of the vice president of the United States. Located on the northeast grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington The Vice President’s Residence With their offices located on the White House grounds, Vice Presidents since Walter Mondale have lived with their families on the grounds of the United States Naval Observatory. The white nineteenth-century house at Number One Observatory Circle in northwestern Washington, D.C. was built in 1893. Originally intended for the superintendent of the USNO, the house was so lovely that in 1923, the chief of naval operations kicked out the superintendent so he could move in himself. Historically, Vice Presidents and their families lived in their own homes, but the cost of securing these private residences grew substantially over the years. Finally, in 1974, Congress agreed to refurbish the house at the Naval Observatory as a home for the Vice President. Three years passed before any Vice President actually lived at Number One Observatory Circle. Vice President Gerald Ford acceded to the Presidency before he could use the home, and his Vice President, Nelson Rockefeller, only used it for entertaining. Walter Mondale was the first Vice President to move into the home. It has since been home to the families of Vice Presidents Bush, Quayle, Gore, Cheney, Biden, and Pence. Vice Presidents have welcomed countless guests to the residence, including foreign leaders and dignitaries. Still, the Naval Observatory has continued to operate. Scientists observe the sun, moon, planets, and selected stars, determine and precisely measure the time, and publish astronomical data needed for accurate navigation. Located about two miles from the White House and adjacent to several embassies, the secluded home sits on a 72-acre plot known as the United States Naval Observatory. It is not open to the public.
