Nothing will happen..and beside who are the people desperate for the Igbo presidency ?If not their selfish and wicked leaders that do not care about Thier own people . The Igbo want BIAFRA or Restructuring..Soo their stupid & wicked politicians can go on Thier knees if they wish but Thier position as president will not change anything as long as Nigeria continue to operate under this faulty foundation. Neither will a Yoruba presidency change anything either . The only way their emergence as president will be a good thing is if they have the balls to restructure this country without any fear of offending the North.

If American government will support Nigeria, it is because of its national interest in Africa because taking side with rebels will certainly hurt them, that's why US didn't support Catalonia independence

Though it sounds risible but we're faced with ugly reality right now, the 2023 elections will be characterized by cynicism and skepticism, there are already suspicions here and there, the political desperados will do anything humanly possible to undermine our democracy and the will/wishes of well meaning Nigerians, these knaves are also heating up the polity! we must unite together and stop them.

Their parochial interest and inordinate ambitions supersede national interest, all they are after is self aggrandisement and preservation.

Winning a presidential election in Nigeria is a tall order, it requires alliances and serious political maneuvering.

My concern now is that if South East is denied the opportunity to govern Africa's largest democracy in 2023, what will happen?
