Currently, there no car manufacturing firm in Nigeria. Innoson may be getting one or two parts from NIgeria, but in the end, they are all glorified assembly plants.

Assembly plants is not what we need now. We need indigenous manufacturing brands to colonise Africa. Not Chinese shit!

U are wrong. Innoson is into manufacturing and assembly. I have watched the manufacturing plant in u tube and tvc docs. All the vehicle skeleton is manufactured in Nigeria, most of the plastic components are manufactured in his plastic factories. He imports engine and transmission systems like most other big automobile brands.

I worked on webometric content under UNN ICT. this list is as real as anything u can think of. 4 expl Uni ibadan have icons like chinue Achebe whose citations eclipse most other uni. CU have very robust funding for research, very good equipment. When I did my masters in UNN I sent some of my samples for SEM/Eds to CU. So it is easy to produce quality research from these hubs and many foreigners will like 2 colloberate with them. CU will still pass Ibadan with time.They have made it a focal point with the requisite funding. Public Unis have funding but wt too much bottle neck .ITF don't fund u unless they know ur face and in some cases kickbacks.If not 4 LNG, research in Nigeria Unis would have been only term paper.

It's the computer schools I pity the most , they are running out of time . I wouldn't want to go to a computer school to learn this stuffs when I can do so with a laptop in the comfort of my room.
