APC should explain its connections with MEND -PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party has tasked the All Progressives Congress to come out clean and explain to Nigerians, their connections with the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Olisa Metuh, in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday said the explanation became necessary following the statement by MEND backing their Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.

The statement said, “What exactly does APC have in common with MEND? Why do they want to resurrect it? Nigerians want to know.

“Are we also expecting a similar statement from insurgents in the north, who initially named General Buhari to lead the dialogue between them and the Federal Government?

“Nigerians are indeed worried by these developments. We therefore urge the APC to come out clean and explain to the citizens what they have in common with these groups, especially given the statement by their flag bearer, after the 2011 elections, that the ‘dogs and baboons will all be soaked in blood.'”

PoliticsRe: Buhari Presidential Campaign In Uyo A Big Flop Could Not Fill A 5000 LGA Stadium by Goddex: 8:02pm On Jan 07, 2015
ujoinme:
APC is welcome to campaign in Akwa Ibom But we wonder what they are going to tell Us here in Akwa Ibom:

1).Is it that they will build us roads? Akpabio has built 350 roads in Akwa Ibom has completed 1900km and more are under construction.A record that no Nigerian governor past or present has iachieved in 7.5yrs in the history of this great country.

2a) will they tell us about bridges? we will turn around and say But the PDP government has built us 38 bridges and 5 flyovers in 7.5 yrs. thereby opening up our state for investments as there are now access roads to all LGAs in the state.

2b).Is it electricity? Akpabio has completed Ibom power plant that generates 191MW of electricity to the national grid and is currently expanding it to 600MW capacity, If states were allowed to generate electricity for their personal consumption without passing through the National grid. The 191MW Akwa Ibom Currently generates will be more than enough for the whole state.
Besides this Akpabio has successfully collaborated with The FG and Mobil exxon Who are building a 500MW gas fired plant at QIT ibeno as we speak.
The govt of PDP has attracted private investor SEVEN ENERGY and SEPTA petroleum who have built and is currently processing 200million cubic ft of gas daily at Uquo, gas processing plant in Esit Eket. Thereby making our state able to supply adequate gas to fire our Ibom Power plant Alscon and also supply gas to the IPP in calabar and Unicem in calabar.

3). Are that going to tell us About Education? The PDP administration has instituted free amd compulsory education in the state and has built 4000 classroom blocks in 7 yrs and has also built a bi- campus state university that will graduate its first set 2015. and the FG has also established a federal Polytechnic in Akwa Ibom State.

4) Are they going to tell us about building us ports? The brand new Akwa Ibom international Airport is already functional and received the APC leaders Aircrafts when they came calling, The Ibaka deep seaport And Export processing zone is on course having recently passed all the FG evaluation and economic viability test and is set to be approved by the FEC for funding

5) Are they going to tell us about corruption? and we will look at their leaders in Atiku and Tinubu and scream these are the two most corrupt Nigerians in the history of corruption that we know, And we will ask How will these corrupt leaders stem out corruption in Nigeria?

6)Will they tell us about poverty in the land ?and we will tell their leaders that Akwa Ibom people were poorer when Gen. Buhari was the president of Nigeria, And we will ask, what new ideas has general buhari gained since then that will make Akwa Ibom people richer, And we will equally ask him to list the projects he sited in Akwa Ibom When he was in charge of PTDF where 80% of his projects were sited in the North even though 99% of the funding for PTDF was from SS.

7)Will they tell us about change? we will tell them that Akwa Ibom people have never seen the kind of uncommon transformation that we have witnessed in the past 10yrs under PDP.

We welcome APC to Akwa Ibom but it will be extremely difficult for them to get votes in Akwa Ibom Because they have no track record to campaign in Akwa Ibom And our people know that APC has no Agenda for Nigeria besides screaming corruption when indeed their leaders are the personification of Corruption.

Has PDP solved all the problems in Akwa Ibom? [b! but because of the track record of PDP in AKS we trust them to do more in the coming years and address issues they have been thin on,than vote a party that has no track record of accomplishing anything on ground in Our dear state.

My question is: what is the Catholic bishop of Enugu saying to all this? Appears the Catholic hierachy in that zone is now fully intimidated by this priest. The church's tail now seems to wag its dog. Eji kwa m ogu o.
My dear, Mbaka is out of control. The Catholic Bishop of Enugu is helpless. The only option available is to excommunicate him in which case the man goes to set up his own church.

I’m not afraid of death, he says

FROM PETRUS OBI, ENUGU

Enugu Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterdiay raised the alarm that he has been receiving threat messages following his New Year eve message where he said that Nigeria would be doomed if President Goodluck Jonathan is re-elected.

In a sermon at the Christ the King Catholic Parish GRA, Enugu, yesterday, Rev. Mbaka said if such threats could move him, he would not even be standing before the congregation that morning.

He declared: “Tell them I am not afraid of them. I have said what I was asked to say. The only word I have for them is Isaiah 54:15,17: “Surely they shall gather, but because the gathering is not of God they shall scatter. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper.”

“They said Buhari gave me money, but I have never met with Buhari. I don’t know him in person. I only delivered the message I was given and I stand by that message because the future of this country is bleak with Jonathan on the saddle.”

Mbaka said before he gave the December 31, 2014 message, he had called Mrs. Patience Jonathan severally but couldn’t get to her.

Said he: “When she came here, I told her to give me her number so that I could give her messages, but thrice she refused. It was later she told one of the pastors with her to give me his number. “

“So, before that message, I had called the number for two weeks but it was always the Personal Assistant to the pastor that picked the calls. “

The bolded could be the reason Mbaka was angry. Why then is he claiming the holy spirit told him?
PoliticsRe: My Life In Danger… Rev Fr Mbaka Cries Out by Goddex:
Mbaka said First Lady refused taking his calls. So, that angered him to deliver that sermon?

Whatever, the man is a huge embarrassment to the Catholic priesthood.

Again, does he need to meet Buhari in person before collecting money from him? Atleast, he knows Ngige, Amaechi, Okorocha and other APC agents

"1-      Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala—The first woman Finance Minister of Nigeria, the world’s seventh largest country,  Okonjo-Iweala has courageously taken on the nation’s endemic corruption, helping to refurbish Nigeria’s image and economic prospects."

Contrary to APC's propagada machine, this govt is tackling corruption headlong by strenghtening our institutions and making access to money difficult.
Examples are in:

Civil Service reforms (ghost workers)

Fertilizer distribution

Elections reforms

Police reforms

Tranparency International also noted improvements in this regard.
