Politics › Re: Tinubu Courageous To Remove Fuel Subsidy - Governor Alex Otti by Godfullsam(m): 4:39pm On Mar 21 |
Brendaniel: Firstly show me where your Ooni and Alaafin have spoken against Tinubu's decision like they did during Jonathan's time, because the way you use everybody, it is as though everybody is criticizing Tinubu together which is a lie...
Secondly if we were all criticizing him till date, who are now the people praising him for being the most courageous president for removing subsidy?
Thirdly, you were busy denying Yorubas were not the ones championing the subsidy removal against Jonathan but now you admitted it is because Jonathan neglected the Yorubas, see how you have conveniently shifted goal post, so Jonathan's offense to you people was that he neglected the Yorubas and you people decided to play dirty politics of lies and deceit using tribe just to get power to yourselves..
That's the ideology I am talking about, that's what made me give up on the unity of Nigeria, you know why:
2 major reasons:
1. You people claimed Jonathan offended you people by neglecting you people( whether true or lie), that is talk for another day, but to me it is a lie and I can bring evidence to back that up, but let's even assume for a second it is true, so you people decided to play dirty politics using your tribe and telling lies to the whole Nigerians that Jonathan was a devil, biased to the Yorubas, incompetent and so many unprintable names, I even joined supporting Jonathan out of power because of how it all sounded like you people just wanted a country that works with equity and justice.
Only for you people to now get the power and started heavy nepotism you all accused Jonathan off even far worse than Jonathan coupled with heavy incompetence and failure, just look at how the country is today, why I am exempting Buhari for now is that I expected the southwest to be smarter in behavior and performance than the north based on all the bragging about you peoples attributes in performance. But it even seems worse than what Buhari did with the northerners in power, and yet a lot of your people see nothing wrong in it and even praising Tinubu as the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria.
I had to ask myself, is this what Nigeria means to you people?
If you people claimed you chased Jonathan out of office because he offended you people, then why come in and come and offend others far more than what you people claimed Jonathan offended you people and still bragging that what you people are doing is the best thing for Nigeria, that's why you see me always asking in my posts:
What was Jonathan's offense to you people?
It clearly shows Jonathan was not offending you people if you people came to do far worse than him and your people instead of complaining of the failure and injustice of Tinubu are busy cheering him on, then why do we have a country, is this what we want a country for?
That is why I keep asking that question:
What do you people want a country for?
Is this it?
2. Your championed the fight against Jonathan for subsidy removal, you said it was a bad decision, today Tinubu enters and all of a sudden it has become the best decision for Nigeria, the question is:
Why would you play such a dirty politics of lies and deceit?
It means you people are not bothered about the lives, welfare of Nigerians, you people just wanted power and you have gotten it, Because if you people are claiming now that it was the best decision, why then did you people fight Jonathan against it fully knowing it was the best decision he made according to you?
So how are we sure your people claiming it is the best decision under Tinubu are telling the truth now?
So it means you people are ready to ruin Nigeria without care if it will help you people get power, that's why Nigeria is the way it is today,so even if it means telling lies to keep the power like Tinubu is doing in his administration, your people will support it which is what a lot of them are doing, you claim Yorubas are the biggest critics of Tinubu's which is a very big lie..
Who are those your people keep calling wailers, 8ters and zombidients?
You are still trying to lie even this discussion, you guys keep trying to convince me that this lie of a thing is more of an ideology to you and your people.
You guys keep trying to twist history, narratives, spin theories and all that...
I had to give up on Nigeria mainly because of you people, even if Peter Obi or any Igbo man becomes president today, I will still work towards having a separate country from you people, where you people can continue this nonsense you people are doing with yourselves.
You people made me realize that Nigeria's major problem is not corruption, it is ideology, it is that ideology that produces people like Tinubu, Buhari and in return begets corruption and incompetence, I'm not calling anyone a saint here including Obi but there are level to evil and incompetence, it is like comparing Osinbajo with Tinubu, they are not the same.
Tinubu and Buhari's government exposed what Nigeria is all about to every region, it is clear we don't want the same thing and we don't think and behave alike. I will be living to you if I said I read everything you wrote. I noticed your write up is littered with lots of unnecessary repetitions. I have told you earlier that no one cares about how you feel or your perception about Nigeria. You are just one single insignificant person out of almost 300 million Nigerians, so how you think about the Yorubas, hausas or Nigeria as a whole doesn't really bother anybody. I am surprised you are just knowing that politics is a deceit game and a game of interest where everybody scramble only for what will benefit them. This had been the ideology of politics from the onset and that is why it was summarised as a 'dirty game'. Other tribes will fight you dirty once they know that you are not there for their interest. Ask yourself, why did the Igbos gave their block votes of about 97% to obi in the last presidential election? It is simply because they know he would favour them and serve their interests once he gets to aso rock. The same reason applies why the north was giving block votes to buhari. The yorubas were even a bit liberal because tinubu lost his state of origin and the state he governed in the last election. Many yorubas joined the obidients movement and voted for Peter obi only to face the shocking reality that the obidients movement is an Igbo idealogy. This shocking reality will leave them with no other choice than to give a block votes to their most hated son in the coming election. Nigeria politics is about all man for himself . There have never been anything like one Nigeria since independent and there will never be such a thing. I chose not to talk about the former president Jonathan this time because there is nothing we will say that will bring back his tenure. There is not point beating a dead horse. Lastly, I am not a fan of tinubu. I voted for Sowore and I will still vote for him as long as his name is on the ballot paper. I can only defend my tribe but I can defend an individual who soil my tribe with incompetence. |

Brendaniel: And Alaafin of Oyo and OOni of Ife are what ?
Politicians, activists, civil society group leaders?
No other tribe rulers were mentioned, not even the Sultan that you are trying to blame him and his people, if you are actually claiming all these you wrote then it means Yorubas used their tribe to play politics against Jonathan removing the fuel subsidy which still makes me correct...
And today why haven't your traditional rulers come out to condemn Tinubu's subsidy removal like they did to Jonathan ?
Are they also politicians like you claim?
And lastly the reason why it happemed in the south west was that Yorubas championed it, it was more of a Yoruba idea, even Tinubu has admitted that he was the one who went to ginger Buhari to continue politics and that was what also led to the protest, for your highest traditional rulers to have joined in then what are we going to call it?
Just politics, no, except you want to insult your highest kings and call them deceivers and liars like Tinubu... Everybody condemned subsidy removal by tinubu, but he took everyone by suprise by announcing the removal in his first speech. There was nothing anyone could do than to continue to insult him and call him all manner of bad names as we all are doing till date. We all know that no amount of protest is going to bring back subsidy so no point protesting, unlike Jonathan that was contemplating the removal of subsidy thereby giving room for opposition to protest. The protest was championed by Yoruba because Jonathan never rate the Yoruba tribe. His government was obviously anti Yorubas. He completely marginalised the yorubas but instead of crying and playing the game, they aligned with the north to rescue power from him. Even till today, no tribe has criticised the tinubu government more than the Yoruba tribe. |

rewriting history anf throwing blames just to clinch to power and claim sophisticated?

How?
just how?
I had to just give up on the unity of Nigeria... Is this the 'evidence' you want to use to finish yourself? How old are you sef? Ok, Go back and read what Google told you, read it without any atom of emotion o. The protest was held at ojota in Lagos state, who do you expect to dominate the protest ? Who are the majority in Lagos? Is the protest a national protests? Was it held across all the states of the nation? If a protest happens in Enugu state, which tribe will dominate the protest? The people that championed the protest include, Oyegun edo state, Oshiomole edo, el rufai north, buhari north, tinubu, aregbesola, amaechi etc These were the core organisers of that protest. Every other people were brought in to just to increase number. Some crowd were even paid stipends to be at the protest which are mostly yorubas because the venue is in Yoruba land. If the protest had happened in Anambra or Kaduna, the Igbos or hausas would have dominated the protest too. What happened at ojota was just a normal work of opposition politics. It is the same thing obi and ADC are doing today. Jonathan would have ignore every opposition and go ahead with his subsidy removal agenda. The opposition will only oppose but they can't stop him if he was determined but he messed things up because he don't want to be seen as a bad person but the economy was already bad because we were already borrowing money to pay civil servants and our debt profile was piling up gradually. |

Other nations are finding ways to help their citizens through the energy crisis or are Nigerians doomed to perpetually suffer a lack of inspirational leadership? Good idea.. You will be shocked to discover that queue has suddenly resumed in various fuel stations across the country. Those in the petroleum sector are very heartless, wicked and greedy. That is why subsidy had to go in the first place. I said Jonathan was trying to please the north because he didn't give a f%ck about the yorubas. He believed pleasing the north was enough for his second term ambition but they turned against him and voted for buhari instead. The opposition group that opposed Jonathan subsidy plans were only doing the normal job of an opposition which is to oppose any policies either good or bad. Jonathan removed subsidy, all of you including Tinubu called him the devil and protested against him, made him feel wicked for attempting it, fast forward to 2023 and Tinubu removed it, then Tinubu is the best thing to happen to Nigeria and he is courageous, Jonathan is now a weakling for listening to you people...
Then it means you people never had good plans and intentions for Nigeria and I doubt you people still do, if you people knew Jonathan was right back then and you people knowingly bullied him to do wrong thing and then your man Tinubu enters and does the supposed wrong you people labeled against Jonathan as being courageous and the best thing, omo!

And Tinubu is a hero for doing what Jonathan was deceived by you people including Tinubu to not do?
You guys made me give up on the unity of Nigeria. You as confusing yourself for nothing.. Everyone knows that the best thing was for subsidy to go. Jonathan wanted to please the North and remain in power. That is why he succumbed to their pressure and that of balablu to keep subsidy. He wasn't doing it because he loves Nigerians, he kept subsidy because he loves power and he was ready to please northern who loves free things. I don't support balablu but he took the bold decision of subsidy removal without minding the consequences. Today, he has become the most hated and most insulted president in the history of Nigeria because of subsidy. Jonathan is the president, nobody can force him to reverse his decisions if he was determined to do something. Stop blaming Nigerians over Jonathan's failure to trigger the right decision. He was the president . The masses are wired to always want to get everything almost for free and resist any policies that will make them spend more on essentials stuffs like fuel.
