Politics › Re: Our Job Is Half Done With Nigerians Suffering — ADC by Godfullsam(m): 11:43am On Jul 16, 2025
Lanruze:
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was consistently warned by the foremost Petroleum Economist on the major dangers of unsequenced PMS subsidy removal.

Bala Zakka (PhD) specifically warned and predicted that the PMS subsidy removal would ultimately lead to social unrest and excruciating poverty . More disturbing and staggering are the reports from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), National Employers Consultative Association (NECA) and LACCIMA.

The data and statistics of monetary value of the effects of PMS removal and FX unification has shown a disturbing trend;

1, Cumulatively Nigeria has lost over $20 Billion through the closing down of over 10,000 MSME and exit of multinationals in the last 24 months based on the implementation of the PMS subsidy removal & naira devaluation.

2, Input cost and transportation cost has triggered inflation which is has wiped-off disposable income with employers finding it difficult to pay overheads and break-even.

3, The Financial gains of the subsidy removal and FX unification hasn't been transparently channeled since the policy was announced. In the past the PTF and Sure-P were introduced to target infrastructural and developmental projects whilst measurable outcomes and deliverables could be measured. The Governors are the greatest beneficiaries with humongous wage bills.

4, Two (2) years assessment is enough to know if a government's policy direction will be effective or far reaching as such he trickle down effect has shown business as usual. No new Billionaires, No intervention programmes even after several announcements from the FG, no shock absorber for the citizens etc.

5, Asides from the $5B Bonga Oil field investment by Shell, the $1.5 Usan Deep water Investment & $600M lithium Processing factory in Nassarawa by the Chinese no other FDI has been recorded in the last 2 years. Meanwhile, Kenya has attracted over $12B in the corresponding 24 months under review.

It's time for PBAT to have a mid-term review on this twin policies or else he will go down as the most insensitive government.
Are you trying to say that subsidy should be returned? wake up from your slumber mr man, subsidy is gone forever. The subsidy was already taken from the budget of the last two months of buhari administration which made it very easy for balablu to bid farewell to subsidy regime.

subsidy had over stayed it usefulness, there would never be the best time to remove it. what i expect balablu to do after subsidy removal are:

1. stop borrowing and pay up our existing debts with the funds realized from subsidy instead of increasing government allocation through subsidy proceeds.
2. Cut government expenditure to the lowest ebb possible by reducing/merging government parastatals, ministries and agencies that solely depends on federal budget (unproductive)
3. gradually float the naira with stringent measures instead of floating it at once concurrently with subsidy removal ( sign of gross insensitivity)
4. fight corruption and insecurity
5. invest heavily in agriculture and infrastructure.

unfortunately, baba just dey lavish our money with his cronies while the masses were told to suffer and endure.

I don't know who do them that strong jazz.
you cant blame anyone for exercising their fundamental human right at the poll. there is basically no difference between voting for apc or adc. if you say people who will consider voting for apc in 2027 are under a strong jazz, same goes to those that will support and vote for adc.

be sincere to yourself, which of the coalition members are reasonable and trust worthy human beings? they are all political criminals, same with the people in power.

our political space need total overhaul. do not vote for anyone who have served in any political office before irrespective of the party.

Even Amaechi was not visibly present at the funeral.

Although he was at daura today to pay last respect to the family but it looks like he didn't show face at the funeral site.

What's the evidence that he is dead? I mean real video evidence of them observing a minute silence and not some picture and writing claiming he is dead. As much as I'm not a Buhari supporter I still need evidence and not just rumours or pictures that can be cooked up
Their only evidence is the fact that Nnamdi kanu said so.

If kanu pee in a cup and tell them it is wine, they will gladly take it .

Remembered this same buhari promised to put an end to medical trip abroad by political office holders.

The same man died in an ordinary clinic abroad.
I am very sure the stand of that clinic is not more than that of Abuja national hospital or the state house clinic.

The doctors treating them abroad are of the same standard with the same doctors that japa from Nigeria to Europe for greener pastures.

May God see us through all these perennial failures.

There is no gainsaying, it was politically motivated not really geographically designed.
The Igbos were Intentionally cut out from the ocean and the international boundary so as to prevent them getting supplies and support from outside the country like it happened in the last Civil war called Biafra war.
Also the Igbos were deliberately separated from the coastal communities of the Niger Delta so as to divide the people of the region and water down their influence as a single block.
Thirdly, many communities in Delta, Edo Benue and Cross River States where supposed to be part of South East but for the same reasons of making the SE as small as possible and without allies this was done.

This is 2025.

I will advise you to stop this victim mind set once and for all.

Ofunaofu:
Why didn’t you say that the APC should have given their ticket to the South to enable the South complete an eight-year tenure, when Tinubu formed an alliance with the North in 2015?

The ADC is not bound by the internal arrangements of the PDP and APC to rotate power between the North and South.

The ADC is focused on finding a candidate from any part of the country with the intellect, foresight, and capacity to defeat Tinubu and end this wicked and draconian regime
Stop recieving yourself, ADC is not focusing on finding any candidate with intellectual capacity bla bla bla..

They are only focused on giving the presidential ticket to the highest bidder regardless his intellectual capacity.

They believe only Atiku paired with obi have the best chance to restle power from balablu.

Sincerely tell me one single member of that coalition with intellectual capacity to move Nigeria forward.

Be sincere..

When Tinubu forms an alliance with the Fulani, it's called building bridges and political strategy or whatever. But when it's Peter Obi, it's labeled desperation.

Your hypocrisy is out of this world.
Tinubu formed alliance to become president.

By the way, I am not a fan of tinubu and I don't give hoot about APC.

If ADC cannot give the presidential ticket to Peter obi to enable the south complete their own 8 years, obi has no business of any coalitions with them.

Desperation for power took obi to ADC. He wants to be a running mate to his Fulani boss in 2027.

He believes Atiku will stand on his 'i will do only one term' premise grin.

Anyone that plans to vote for APC, ADC or PDP in 2027 should go and have his/her brain examined.

At times I wonder if those living in that Lagos are super humans.

Why didn't Soludo follow up his assertion with the same police report or stats before profiling the Igbos in Anambra state as the majority criminals?

Many other ethnic nationals are in Anambra state commiting crimes but according to him, only fellow Igbos are the majority criminals being arrested. Can he provide a statistics that confirmed this revelation?

Criminality knows no divide but efulefus like Soludo thinks he is smart in demonizing his own people because of politics.
