Politics / Re: Hunger Protests: Why Tinubu Can’t Govern Like Buhari By Farooq A. Kperogi by Godfullsam(m): 2:36pm On Feb 10
Tinubu doesn't have blind followers like buhari and obi.

If he fails to perform, he won't get a quarter of the votes he got from SW.

SW are not gonna support him just because he is theirs, this is know for sure.
Still wondering how his supporters even sleep at night. We sane Nigerian already know what will be fall Nigeria Tinubu, Atiku or obi gets to power.

RepoMan007:
Cardoso is a victim of politicization of appraisal of CBN performance.
The performances of all CBN governors has historically correlated with the petrol dollar availability. To me, Emefiele was the only guy who performed beyond the level of available petrodollar in his time. All other governors of the CBN were simply lucky to have the dollar available.
Not one of them influenced inflow of dollar in any significant way. Cardoso's case is agrevated by what Emefiele and Buhari did with loans and cash in circulation. They created a huge problem by spending out of recession and into crippling debt that eats revenue.

God bless you.

You made lots of senses.

Sane Nigerians don't have an iota of hope in that man. Same with your current druggie in power and Atiku. Only clueless agbadorians, ipob miscreants and terrorists support those 3 vagabonds.

Politics / Re: As A President, How Would You Have Handled The Current Economy Crisis? by Godfullsam(m): 4:09am On Feb 08
I will make sure the country is restructured by all means and decentralized power at the center.

I will make sure political office becomes very unattractive such that only serious people who are only interested in contributing the country's development can join politics.
The law makers will become a part term job with only peanuts as allowances. Only serious and patriotic people will join politics.

I will seek debt relieve/pardon from our creditors.

I will convert all deposits in dollars to naira and prosecute anyone hoarding the dollar.
I will restructure the NYSC. It will become a compulsory 1 yr paid skill acquisition programme. Especially in area of technology and agriculture.
I will encourage young people to go into mechanized farming.

I will reintroduce cashless policies. You won't be able to withdraw more than 20k cash per day. Any other trx should be done through mobile through cashless means.

I will gradually mop up excess money in circulation and eventually phase out 1000 naira notes and make 500 naira the highest denomination. It will become a serious criminal offense for anyone to hold excess money in cash.

I won't increase minimum wage just yet! I will use the money derived from subsidy removal to improve food production via mechanized agriculture, infrastructures development etc so that the existing minimum wage can have a more values in terms of purchasing power. I will continue to buy time with the NLC while I put my ministers under pressure to get things done quickly.

There will be no more medical trips for politicians, no more importation of luxury items.

Only those into businesses/production or agriculture are allowed to enjoy unrestricted life style. Government salary earners and politicians are civil servants and there are limits to what servants can enjoy.

If you want to be a big man in my government, you better go and set up a large farm or you start producing something.

To tackle insecurities, I will encourage state policing and hold the state governors responsible in any state where there is kidnapping or banditary.

Not a single even half-economically literate answer in the whole bunch, just lots of wishful thinking masquerading as wisdom. With whose money are you subsidy-reversers planning to operate? Are any of you even aware that more than 80% of FG revenues are already commiitted to servicing the interest on loans, and the severe consequences defaulting would instigate? And anyone thinking a CBN governor can work miracles in 48 hours might as well wish for unicorns jumping over rainbows with pots of gold at their ends, that's how ridiculously fantastical such thinking is.

It's useless answers like these that make it impossible to take most criticism of Tinubu on here seriously. 99% of you moaning and groaning don't have the first clue about what Nigeria's problems really are, not to speak of any meaningful ideas about how to tackle them.

Do you know you haven't said anything?

The question is
What would you have done to tackle the current economics challenges if you were the president?

You are busy criticising other people's comments.

Nigeria rejected cashless economy. That alone would hsve tackle this problem

The Nigerian police and other security agents are either benefiting from these ransom or they are just bn clueless.

Cash would have been the easiest way to apprehend these miscreants if Nigeria is a working country.

Any kidnapper that demand for cash would have easily given himself out for apprehension if the system is working.

The governor should be made to pay the ransom, not the community or the parents.

The primary duties of the governor is to protect the lives and properties of his people. That is why he collects security votes every month.

Why is he thanking Tinubu by the way?
