Isaiah 1:4 Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption!
Romans 2:5 But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.
Isaiah 1:28 But rebels and sinners will together be shattered, and those who forsake the LORD will perish.
Isaiah 5:24 Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes the straw, and as dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will decay and their blossoms will blow away like dust; for they have rejected the instruction of the LORD of Hosts and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 9:17 Therefore the Lord takes no pleasure in their young men; He has no compassion on their fatherless and widows. For every one of them is godless and wicked, and every mouth speaks folly. Despite all this, His anger is not turned away; His hand is still upraised. Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
ivolt: Nnamdi Kanu is a terrorist no doubt. His tapes are all over the internet. He stayed free for long because nobody bothered to report him. As to this scum, he got what he deserved.
I am not particularly fond of MNK but he never called for the anihilation of a race or tribe, he only asked his people to defend their land and fight for it.
If he was a terrorist according to British standards, he should have been arrested years ago. Alas the Biritsh even helped him escape the last time he was incacerated in the shit hole called Nigeria.
ImoleNaija: And, some people want Nnamdi Kanu released? Definitely not anytime soon.
Nnamdi Kanu was not calling for genocide of Yorubas. On the other hand, your Oduduwa terrorist brother Adeyinka was calling for genocide of Igbos in Yoruba land. He is an idiot.
The Oduduwa terrorist has been convicted and he will no doubt spend time in prison and then be deported back to the shit hole. At least when he gets back to Naija he can start a real struggle for Oduduwa
Bye bye to British citizenship Mr. Adeyinka the Igbo hater.

oilyngbati: Igbos must do a reflection critical self appraisal of themselves in terms of how they carry out their quest for acquisition of money/wealth? Nigeria is hard, but that’s not the reason to engage in some senseless crimes, that brings shame to a whole ethnic group. All Nigerians are going through thesame hardship and Ndigbo must begin to raise a generation that would shun crime, no matter the circumstances. I spoke as a true nwafor!
What about skull miners, ritual killers and drug dealers in the West ? Dummy.
Not satisfied with the current performance of the IPOB Directorate of State leadership, a small group of leaders who are part of a specially created IPOB Emissary Leadership group is now leading the affairs of IPOB in cahoots with non IPOB but sworn Biafran agitators such as Simon Ekpa and others.
It appears that these powerful people are now fulfilling the wishes of MNK, which was to activate the IPOB Emissary Leadership group in the event of an emergency or his death. This special group will uphold his wishes, come what may. This group is made up of hardened, fanatical and diehard MNK loyalists who are ready to step into the edges of hell for their master and acclaimed freedom fighter.
Having watched many of the video broadcasts by both the main DOS leadership and the new group of Emissaries, it appears that IPOB members are very angry with the current DOS leadership and want change fast. There are innumerable rumours of IPOB DOS compromise with the Nigerian government, corruption and the siphoning of huge contributions meant for ESN to personal pockets and bank accounts. I am going to be honest with you some of the insults and abuse were so intense that I had to take a small break to bring my blood pressure down. One caller asked for ESN to fish out saboteurs and behead them at the town T-Junction, and if not unable to capture them, to go after their parents. Now this really worried me, because we don't want a war between brothers.
The bottom line is that IPOB members, Biafran agitators and even many normal Igbos are requesting for a change that will lead to the freedom of MNK and realisation of a new era of peace and prosperity in Biafra Land. Personally, I don't know how this will end, but we pray that these diehard MNK leaders and their fanatical followers will pursue the path of dialogue and peace, and desist from turning the South East into another Middle East.
Ordinary Nigerians are NOT our enemies, our enemies are corrupt leaders, leaders of terrorists and the beneficiaries of tribalism, nepotism, corruption, EndSars genocide and many other recent tragedies.
This is me reporting. Have a good day and enjoy one of the videos that confirms this report.
- Calling all Fulani dirty Janjaweeed ? - Calling Yorubas the derogatory name of Afonja ? - Anybody who disagrees with their point of view is beheaded and their families threatened ? - Difference of opinion is discouraged ? - Calling for lock downs when the government makes a contrary decision to their whims - Calling all Igbos who disagree with them saboteurs and hunting them down - Siphoning money meant for freedom fighting to personal accounts ? - Religious intolerance ? - spreading fake news and conspiracy theories, e.g Chinese people eat penis etc
I am truly afraid of what Igbo land will become if IPOB gain power, it may end up being a very violent and intolerant place like North Korea.
The World Bank says Nigeria’s fiscal position is fragile and vulnerable to global headwinds.
The bank disclosed this in the November edition of its Nigeria Development Update (NDU) titled “Time for Business Unusual”.
According to World Bank, without immediate macroeconomic reforms, Nigeria will remain exposed to oil shocks, adding that fuel subsidy payments may also deplete the government’s scarce resources.
“While global oil prices remain high, the expected relaxation of OPEC+ quotas and the planned release of oil reserves by China and the United States should ease upward price pressure and may even cause prices to decline,” the report reads.
“In the absence of deep reforms to non-oil revenue policy and administration, non-oil taxes will likely fall short of their targets and be unable to compensate for oil shocks.”
The Bretton Woods institution also said that off-budget spending and rising debt-service costs would continue to drive expenditure pressures.
According to the report, the federal government has historically underbudgeted for debt service by failing to account for the cost of ways and means financing.
“Without appropriate measures to reduce Ways and Means financing and restructure the existing debt stock, the heavy cost of debt service will further constrain the government’s fiscal space,” the report noted.
While highlighting the role of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in exchange rate stability, the World Bank said there had been intense pressure on the naira, with the apex bank constantly raising the nominal official exchange rate.
It added that the CBN’s foreign exchange management system was too rigid, with the system driving inflation in the country.
“The government’s exchange rate management policies continue to discourage investment and fuel inflation,” it added.
“Exchange rate stability is a key CBN policy objective, and to preserve its external reserves the CBN continues to manage FX demand and limit the supply of FX to the market.
“Pressure on the naira remains intense, and while the CBN has raised the nominal official exchange rate three times since the start of the pandemic (by 15 percent in March 2020, five percent in August 2020, and seven percent in May 2021), FX management remains too rigid to respond to external shocks.
“Meanwhile, exchange-rate management has emerged as one of the key drivers of inflation.”
The report also said that CBN was yet to introduce enough flexibility into FX management to sustainably respond to external shocks, adding that the NAFEX rate was not a true reflection of the market.
“While the CBN supplied an average of $2.5bn to the Investors and Exporters forex window in the months just prior to the COVID-19 crisis, it only supplied an average of $0.5bn in the months thereafter,” it said.
“The NAFEX rate, which is now the guiding exchange rate for the economy, continues to be managed and is not fully reflective of market conditions.
“The parallel market premium over the NAFEX rate reached 29 percent in August 2021 after the CBN cut off its weekly supply of $20,000 per bureau de change. The CBN has intermittently supplied forex to BDCs since 2005, providing ample opportunities for currency round-tripping.”
According to the World Bank, Nigeria faces a critical choice: it can continue to pursue a business-as-usual policy approach while its economy and job market deteriorates, or it can undertake bold reforms that put Nigeria on a robust and sustainable long-run growth trajectory.
Over 60 gunmen have attacked Chinedu Awo, Lawmaker, representing Ohaukwu North constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly and abducted two policeman.
Confirming the incident, the Spokesperson of the Police Command in the state, DSP Loveth Odah, told journalists in Abakaliki on Monday that two police personnel were also abducted during the attack.
The policemen were in the company of the lawmaker, who was on his way on Sunday to his hometown, Effium Community in Ohaukwu local Government Area of the state.
NAN recalls that Effium community had been on communal crisis since January 2021.
The State Governor, David Umahi, on Nov. 26 placed on hold the construction work on the Effium axis of the Abakaliki ring road project.
The Governor’s order followed the abduction of five construction workers by suspected kidnappers on Nov. 3 in the area. The workers have not been seen since then.
According to the Police Spokesperson, on Nov. 28, 2021, at about 1340hrs, Awo accompanied by Police operatives were returning from investigation activities in connection with the three missing engineers, abducted in the area on Nov 3.
“Awo accompanied the operatives to enable him to dialogue with the warriors at Igbuduoke village in Effium/Ezza clan ‘the warring community’ in Ohaukwu Local Government Area; they were ambushed by armed Ezza warriors numbering over 60.
“The operatives gallantry fought back, resulting in heavy casualties on the side of the attackers.
“However, DSP Bruno Chukwu and two others sustained bullet wounds and are currently in hospital responding to treatment.
“The two Police officers by name: Sergeant Donatus Osugwu, and Sergeant Thaddeus Ugoeze, are suspected to have been abducted by the hoodlums,” Odah explained.
She explained that the Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi, Mr Aliyu Garba, had led a team on reinforcement at the scene.
“They have cordoned the forest and searched the village but could not see the missing officers nor the perpetrators.
“Efforts are in top gear to ensure the perpetrators are tracked down and arrested,” she said.
Early reports indicate that the insurgents stormed the community Monday morning, shooting heavy artillery.
Militants from the Islamic State-backed faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), formerly known as Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād are currently attacking Auno, a village in the Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
Early reports indicate that the insurgents stormed the community Monday morning, shooting heavy artillery.
The situation forced people to scamper for safety and remain indoors as the shooting continued, according to a soldier.
He added that the troops overpowered the terrorists in a gun battle, forcing them to flee.
“It’s not clear if there are any casualties. I can’t say maybe anyone was abducted as well, it was an attack on commuters plying the highway in the community,” the source said.
Since the death of JAS leader, Abubakar Shekau, ISWAP has been consolidating its grip in locations around Lake Chad.
Just recently, it appointed Wali Sani Shuwaram, a 45-year-old as the new Leader (Wali) of ISWAP in Lake Chad.
The sect’s membership has swollen with the defection of hundreds of Boko Haram fighters under Shekau.
The Nigerian army has repeatedly claimed that insurgency had been largely defeated and frequently underplays any losses.
The terror group has caused over 50,000 deaths and displaced millions of people mainly in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe states.
uthlaw: what about the drug dealers spoiling the name of the country... What are you doing about that!
Two can play that game of bigotry
Drug dealer behind cocaine hidden in Lagos airport toilet arrested – NDLEA "“In Ondo State, three persons: Alabi Idowu; Oluwatomipe Olorundare and Finity Sunday were arrested on Monday, Nov. 15 and a total of 2,771kgs of Cannabis recovered from them at Oke Ogun camp, Ipele, Owo LGA."
Gbagura: You're evil yourself. If your kinsmen could peddle drugs across Middle East, what stop them from trying their region's market. Must you defend rubbish in your existence? Y'all must look for a way to cover your crimes and propagate other's. Left for you, nyanmiri no dey do wrong. Even if they are caught in the act, that's when you remember someone somewhere has done samething.
Girl, you see reason why other Nigerians are avoiding your region?
And then in the same vein you insult all Igbos by using the word 'nyanmiri ' which is typical of 'Neanderthals'.
I am ashamed of the comments made by a few of my Igbo siblings who refuse to accept the truth that the video is not fake; it is 100% true and factual. I have watched this gruesome video elsewhere and whoever that group is, whether ESN or political thugs, it is our duty to point them out for justice. If we refuse to get them arrested and punished, then, to those who are concerned, we are no better than Boko Haram. This is pure terrorism.
We cannot be accusing the military and police of barbaric acts while condoning barbaric acts. This is not what Igbos are known for in the 21st century - beheadings?? When did we start to support these very inhumane actions?
I suggest that we all revolt against this barbarity just as we have rightly done against the use of drugs in our communities.
I don't like OyigboUpdate on a normal day, but his latest article is an indictment of SOME OF US who operate on double standard.
