We were given a rough sheet for calculations..
Pls:
When I started the exam, it went well, buh when I wanted to submit, I saw a message telling me that connection was lost, though it was later resolved..
My question is: I hope all my answers were saved before that stuff occurred?
These questions were different from today's (Saturday) own
Deckline: What did you get in English? What was your highest mark?
56 in English(lowest) 70 in chemistry (highest)
Rachealoduah: you tried,no need to cry aww.just put in more effort, the difference between your present score and 300 is just 48 marks, ithink what you need is just a good strategy towards earning 48 marks between the 4 subject,me that didn't even write the exam nko, anyway God dey my side I no fit fail
DrBESTJC: I have written my mock examination, and I thank God this is just mock...........I go say e dey bittersweet
We came in the morning and were required to pay 700 naira to be permitted to write the exam and I can say that JAMB is just milking nigerian students dry through this exam.We paid 700naira for the mock registration and just a day or two to the mock exam date, they sent us a message requiring us to pay another 700naira to be able to write the mock.........anyway,na naija we dey!
We did thumbprinting and went into the hall with CCTV cameras mounted at strategic positions. At about 9:00AM,we were asked to log in and write. ........and I logged in.....
I checked one of my most dreaded subjects PHYSICS.40 questions were asked and some of the questions I could recall are these: (please let somebody solve and provide their answers.) 1: If y = A sin(750pt - 0.04px),determine the velocity of the wave.
2: P-type semiconductors are produced by doping the target materials with a.... (A) bivalent material (B) pentavalent (C) tetravalent material (D) trivalent material
3:Optical fibre operates on the principle of (A) diffraction of waves (B) polarization of waves (C) total internal reflection (D) Refraction of waves
For CHEMISTRY....same 40 questions: 1:The action of ethyl chloride on ammonia will produce (A) amino acid (B) Primary amines (C) secondary amines (D) tertiary amines
2:Calculate the molar mass in g/mol of an alkyne represented by C11H16 (A) 112 (B) 124 (C) 208 (D) 100
3:Which of the allotropes of tin exists at room temperature (A) monoclinic (B) Rhombic (C) grey (D) white
For ENGLISH,60 questions were asked and about 7 questions from independence....it was ok
For BIOLOGY,40 questions were asked but tough.
MY EXPERIENCE AND ADVICE: I saw many questions lifted exactly from past questions. So it will be wise to study your pastquestions very well. Also TIME IS NO MAN'S FRIEND! Many people could'nt finish when their systems authomatically submitted their works.
I think this is enough to help a fellow aspirant.
In two/three weeks time,IT WILL ALL BE OVER!!!...........and I wish you guys an unprecedented success in your exams.....
.
Wow. That means the questions Were completely different for different sets cox none of what you posted Came out in mine. The questions are OK(not too OK sha) but the problem I noticed was with the calculator, it only had keys for + - × ÷ I.e. no square root, sin cos etc. Which is a problem for physics and math questions BIOLOGY Which of the Following fruits Has Parietal type of placentation? A. Tomato B. Coconut C. Pawpaw D. Orange
donblazer10: no you're not eligible..you have to wait till next Year
Lol.
omotayo400: please i need urgent answer to this question please i register for mock but i am no more interested if i forfeit the exam will i be enligible for the main exam
But why are you no longer interested?? Write, it's just meant for you to see how far you've prepared for the main exam.
IamBoobs: By now, we're sure you all know that the JAMB Mock Exam for the 2017 UTME has been confirmed to hold on February 26th, 2018. Many UTME candidates seem not to know if they are qualified to partake in the mock examination or not.
Let’s quickly clear the confusion so you know if you are qualified or not. In as much as a lot of you would like to write the Mock Exam, not everyone is entitled to write it. If you did not select to write the exam during registration, you are simply not qualified to partake in the mock examination.
Also, if you are unable to print you mock exam slip or get a notification from JAMB concerning the mock exam schedule; it equally means you are not qualified for the mock exam.
CondomSir: No. A 15-year old will not be cleared of the admission.
If a 15-year old beats his or her institution's cutoff mark and eventually got admitted, the admission will be deferred until the candidate becomes 16-year old the following year.
There will be no need to obtain UTME or putme form the following year, as you are already admitted. All you'll need to do is contact the school's admission office for information about deferred admission clearance.
What if the person would turn sixteen probably at the middle of the first semester(February to be precise) does he still have to wait for the following year's admission?
Please what's the ideal jamb score for medicine in unn also does esut accept candidates who choose medicine as second choice being an indigene of the state cc condomsir
Nice one from my Fulani guys. How I wish all tribes can begin to create menace and chaos in the country like Ipob and Herdsmen so that the zoo can be destroyed.
This cool new earpiece automatically translates foreign languages into one you can understand. The earpiece uses an app, which does all the actual translating, so when you pair the device with your phone via bluetooth, you can use it to translate any language the app can take. Just put in the earpiece and listen as the earpiece translates the language of the speaker into the language you know in real time. Only one earpiece is necessary for listening to translations, but it comes with two because they double as wireless earbuds. This gadget comes with English and some European languages already on the system, but other languages can be added via downloadable language packs.
This relates to engineering because it solves a problem in the world with an ingenious technological solution. This device helps us to bridge the language gap that strands us in certain countries. But now with this device, language is no problem.
