Anything that expose the incompetence of this present Nigeria government always want to be silenced. For examples, End Sars Movement, Twitter Ban, and now it is Abokifx turn.

CBN~ “Abokifx is the problem of $$$$ scarcity…”

Abokifx ~ “ We sincerely hope this suspension will lead to the a Naira appreciation from next week…”

Savage response grin
Business / Re: Full Statement Of Godwin Emefiele On AbokiFX (Video) by Godisfaithful: 9:47pm On Sep 18, 2021
This CBN Governor is clueless. So Abokifx is Nigeria problem regarding foreign exchange scarcity. Someone should remind the governor that this is simple demand and supply in play. Instead of them to tackle the real problems that causes this scarcity, they keep fighting the shadow. Very soon, they will declare Google map as the major problem of Nigeria roads. Bunch of clown…fighting a shadow

There are many site that does what abokifx is doing. They even forget Abokifx is on Twitter and other social media lol

That’s alright. So instead of us spending so much time and energy on social media scaremongering and trying to raise each others blood pressures why don’t we use same resources positively by seeking solutions to such challenges.

Since there is so much interest in the matter of exchange rate of the dollar to the naira why don’t you start another thread and recommend actionable solutions such as; what goods or services can be exported out of Nigeria in return for dollars to take advantage of the growing exchange rate, how to create better remittances is it through the development of a mobile app, boycotting Western Union?

what imports into Nigeria are unnecessary and should be discouraged (for example building materials such as doors, roofing rolls, tiles, etc) then research if Nigerians can produce alternatives to such imports. If so quickly create opportunity by calling on the government to increase tariffs on those imports and give tax incentives to producers.

Should the CBN begin the purchase of raw gold from miners for dollars and begin refining such and selling gold certificates to Nigerians as a store of value while the Federal government apportions mines and issues licenses to the general public?

Whatever agreed solutions we follow up with some actions.

Noted sir. No more fear mongering or scaremongering post again. I will do as you stated. God bless Nigeria grin

One thing is consistent about this government, the act of lying. They can lie to the extent of calling morning afternoon.
There was indeed a move by Buhari to seize all the forex in domiciliary of private individuals in deposit money banks.
The first attempt was made during the Crude Oil collapse in early 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Buhari was warned of the implications that would follow the move.
The matter was also mentioned at Northerners House of Assembly.
Buhari is still contemplating the move.
The initial rejection of the proposal was what made this government of liars to throw Nigeria into a bottomless pit of Internal and external borrowing.
They even passed a bill that authorised central bank of the North to seize the liquidity of deposit Money banks in the name of cash reserves ratio adequacy.
This has never happened before in the hx of Nigeria.
If you have forex in your domiciliary account, rise up and withdraw it, keep it underground.
This government is determined to seize private individual forex account funds.
A stitch in time ......safes many
The circulating letter was real, it was leaked by a staff member of Central Bank of the North.
The illegal move would soon be backed by a superseding bill that will allow central bank to manage all currencies in Nigerian banks.
Already there was a loop hole in the existing cbn act which enable them to determine the fate of any legal tender, gold inclusive in Nigeria.
Remember, what Buhari cannot destroy does not exist.
Safeguard your forex.

As you said, if Central bank of North try that and supported by their CEO (Buhari), we will see $1 to N700/800 within a twinkle of an eye. I just pray they don’t enact another nonsense policy

Stop comparing orange with Apple.

Bank of America had faith in their local currency and kept their Reserve in USD.

Since CBN claim to have faith in Naira why should they keep their Reserve in USD and expect Nigerians to keep theirs in Naira.

All through 2022 and part of 2023, I expect Dollar to settle at N410 or so. There will be so much dollar liquidity in the world that people will even be scared of holding it.

After these periods, it's a different kettle of fish.

Some smaller African, Asian and Caribbean countries will end up using USD as their official currencies.

Rabbi The Oracle, this is doable with the right policy and honest administration. With this govt we have in Nigeria, I will say it is questionable and challenging. Things already got out of hand. Spiritually it might work but realistically at the moment, I will keep my fingers crossed. I want a better Nigeria going forward…God help us

I don't understand why you will tag all those who have contrary opinions as Buhari Fans.. Only one road does not lead to the market. They are several ways to make money buying and keeping dollar as you want/advised is just one of it.

No matter how you look at it or do not want to believe, there are people that would have made money same way you feel you are making from dollar or even more doing other things. Everybody can not follow same route. Besides if everyone decide to buy and store dollar as you guys advocate, where is it to go round? Maybe we should just beg the US to let us adopt that currency as ours too.

Even at that we will still not be satisfied..Maybe then we will shift more attention to British Pounds.

Sir, I never tag anyone who has a contrary opinion as buhari apologetic or fans. My response to that Oga statement is not collective. Anyway, thank you for letting me know that.
