That's true
However, for someone who isnt that exposed to foreign currency transactions like that, it really does not make much difference, as long as the absolute value in naira terms appreciated a lot.
It is those of us that have direct forex exposure , or diaspora Nigerians that will really feel the pinch of this when they want to repatriate their currency

That's not true.
Nigeria is an import dependent country.
Go and price electronics, cars, or even clothing and compare the price with last year.
Your daily leaving is influenced by the exchange rate.
Know that and know peace.

That's inflationary pressure
That's different
The inflationary pressure is less than the depreciation pressure
The combo isnt good no doubt
But for one with little exposure to foreign Bill's
The sliding exchange rate is not the primary focus
But the rate of return
And what it can buy.
This situation is a very bad situation that we are in
I'm just stating my perspective

Why would you want it back in $$ though? A smart person keeps 2 accounts. Dollar account and Naira account, that's what I do. Last time I checked, bills in Naija is still being paid in Naira.
