Boyhood: One thing is consistent about this government, the act of lying. They can lie to the extent of calling morning afternoon. There was indeed a move by Buhari to seize all the forex in domiciliary of private individuals in deposit money banks. The first attempt was made during the Crude Oil collapse in early 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic. Buhari was warned of the implications that would follow the move. The matter was also mentioned at Northerners House of Assembly. Buhari is still contemplating the move. The initial rejection of the proposal was what made this government of liars to throw Nigeria into a bottomless pit of Internal and external borrowing. They even passed a bill that authorised central bank of the North to seize the liquidity of deposit Money banks in the name of cash reserves ratio adequacy. This has never happened before in the hx of Nigeria. If you have forex in your domiciliary account, rise up and withdraw it, keep it underground. This government is determined to seize private individual forex account funds. A stitch in time ......safes many The circulating letter was real, it was leaked by a staff member of Central Bank of the North. The illegal move would soon be backed by a superseding bill that will allow central bank to manage all currencies in Nigerian banks. Already there was a loop hole in the existing cbn act which enable them to determine the fate of any legal tender, gold inclusive in Nigeria. Remember, what Buhari cannot destroy does not exist. Cyriacusifeco: "Market prices for stocks fluctuate at great amplitudes around intrinsic value but, over the long term, intrinsic value is virtually always reflected at some point in market price.” - Warren It took 5 years since I made this post in 2016 for Mr. Market to respond to intrinsic value. Safeguard your forex. The endless list of dz deceptive and corrupt government cannot contain a 10 terabyte hardware. The government denied, they were never going to increase pump price, yes they did They denied, they were never going to devalue the Naira, with a slogan "we have enough war chest to meet Nigerians forex demand " if you hoard the Naira, it would burn u, today the Naira is destroyed by the commander in destroyer of Nigeria. We warn Tinubu to be cautious of Hausa-Fulani he never listened to us, today the mystery of his life cannot be summarized. He was poisoned by the same people he brought to power. No Dr on earth can diagnosed the secret poisoned added to his food during a Salah break with Major Buhari in 2015 and 2016. Tinibu that used to be strong is now in a vegetative state , the irony of life, Buhari the sick man is now stronger than same Tinubu. This government lied and lied and a groundson of Lier Mohammed asked him, grandpa , why are people calling you Liar Mohammed, he still lied for the child. We broadcasted the news that Major Buhari was going to change his cabinet , after 3 weeks of denial he eventually did. We told people the mission of Buhari the jihadist, people did not listen today the agenda is clear. We told people that Buhari was going to abandon US with a secret defense pact already signed with Russia, it happened. We told people Buhari was going to ban social media after a period of denial he did We told people that Buhari was going to establish Fulani colony in every local government in Nigeria , he denied dz , shortly he proposed livestock transformation he failed, he substituted it with RUGA , he failed , now he is bent on reclamation of colonial grazing routes in the whole federation? Bound to fail. The rumor started that Buhari was going to increase vats, he denied eventually he did, A news I gathered about 3 weeks ago from Asokoro made mention of another increment in VATS in 2022 budget, with 10% being proposed. We told people that Buhari was going to ban bitcoin transaction in Nigeria, after much speculations and denial he did. What Buhari cannot destroy in Nigeria does not exist, with the exception of cattle, Fulani herdsmen and herders. We told people that Buhari was going to kill Sunday Igboho, people in Nairaland even dreamt about it, it was a near missed death. Naija safeguard your forex , Buhari is planning to pay Nigeria mammoth international debt obligations with the available forex in the Account of private individuals. Forceful conversion of all forever to destroyed Naira in the name of National interest. My source actually name the proposed bill title "Bill of National Interest for the conversion of all forexes held in Domiciliary account of private individuals. He is bend and determined to cease the unclaimed dividends , he sent a bill to the assembly in the name of a new finance act, he initially denied dz, today he is 95% sure of claiming 99% of these funds that belong to people of SouthernNigerian. He initially wanted to borrow the unclaimed dividends following opposition by some people he quickly passed a bill which empowered him to steal the unclaimed dividends. This has never happened in the history of Nigeria. On so many occasions he claimed to have defeated boko haram , only for the insurgents to emerge stronger. He was even forcing the formal statistician general to publish fake figures of an imaginary performance when 99% of Nigerians know that things have gone bad and beyond irreparable. Indeed, a whole nation was given to the most wicked and heartless Hausa-Fulani hegemonists. I rest my case. Safeguard your forex The letter was no fake. The CBN is going to role our higher denomination of Naira in the coming days. Watch, wait and see. Matter is already concluded, N5000 single note, N10,000 single note, N20,000 single note, N50, 000 has been designed, printed , waiting for a release , to coincide with the independence day of 2021 or 2022. Natajo2021:which hole did you crawl out from? You think you are talking to teenagers here or your family gossip. It Is not your fault. is those ones that will not let us hear word about dollars because they have failed in nse and deceived plenty when they were active in nse. They changed moniker and new members don't know thr past history when they did all kind of monkey hunting. They desperately need to attract crowd to thr new business because luck is now on thr side and they must make at least 100 percent on this business. If it likes let dollars get to #2000 is not government fault. It is Nigerians fault because we all want imported things even when we have better local substitute. This I see in all our daily needs .I hate this government like mad but the truth remains constant. The large amount of this dollar rubbish is going to China for things we have good substitute in Nigeria.Reduce the dollars going to China by 50 percent and see dollars crashing like pack of card.I am into various biz,I am taking from experience. The amount of dollar demand in two state in Nigeria alone (anambra and Lagos) is enough to make dollars get to #1000 soon by importers 13 Likes 1 Share |

STNWAUME: This is the same sentiment with an average American though. Average American hates the Fed and their unlimited dollar printing. Look on the internet you’ll find lots of memes with Fed chairman Jerome Powell with a printer . With all that, Americans are not converting their $$$ to Euros, Yen or Yuan. Instead they have resorted to buying gold, silver and even Bitcoin. Again, I’ll admit I am not an expert but I speak from experience and what I see. Doesn’t matter how much tantrum you throw here, CBN will do whatever they think will strengthen the Naira. The #1 Naira killer is the addiction, you have Nigerians with bank accounts in hundreds of thousands and some,!millions of $$$ and they’re not really using this $$$, they’re just hoarding it for no reason. 5 Likes |

Ades1:The bolded explains why you have been talking the way you do. The CBN CANNOT just do what it "deems fit" That's the quickest way to destroy your currency kpata kpata. Currencies derive their values from many things, but the major thing they derive their value from is the FAITH that people have in it No matter what the CBN does The Nigerian people have little faith right now in the Nigerian currency. The policy focus should be on how to restore the faith, not cosmetic solutions that make matters worse. Cutting the BDC off was what made the naira slideover the N520 mark in the first place Doing this Ill fated policy will make the naira slide even further into the abyss. It's a simple thing to understand, and you cannot fight the will of the people (who are trying to preserve their wealth) Even Dangote himself have had enough and will be opening a family office in New York And as for your continued reference to the USA Its nor the same The USD is still the reserve currency of the world And the FEDS are controlling the direction of the extra liquidity that it is creating They are not as dim witted as our CBN 8 Likes |

RodgersAkpafu:Guy you funny, from you statement it means you are knowledgeable in this field. And you make bold to say faith abi na miracle is the major thing the currency derives value from.Bro that is a fat lie.Nigerian have lost faith in this government but have not lost faith in naira. The major thing that the currency derives value from is the country products and services exported against products and services imported then the considerations it bring. Still you belong to the group who thinks CBN oga is a Carpenter, lol. The BDC should have been closed since yesterday they are just milking the country or still they should source thr dollars and not the allotment from CBN weekly 3 Likes |

Biafran4life:What you just typed is validating my point Currencies derive their value from a couple of intertwined factors. While your logic is correct about the products side, it's a simplistic view because Japan and South Korea are very productive, yet they have weak currencies when comparing how much the yen and the won exchange to the dollar In fact, some less productive countries in africa have a higher exchange rate than these two Fiat money is driven by Faith and Confidence The Nigerians have lost absolute faith in the stability of the naira, hence driving the already high demand even higher. Think of it, was there a widespread craze for dormiciliary accounts say ten years ago ? That answers the question. Its simple economics Higher demand for the USD when the supply has flattened will only lead to further depreciation. The craze for us denominated investments to hedge will also add to the pressure, all the way to even those who are changing and burying in their house or under pillow The NGN will bolster when the govt gets its acts together and FDI begin to flow in like torrents of water A lot of them from the outside are apprehensive. A multi pronged approach is what is required at this point, not these folly acts the CBN gov is doing That said From my anonymous days, I always look forward to your posts and MCY and a couple of others here that i wont mention so the list doesn't get too long Cheers sir 6 Likes |

If you minus the economic indices that are affecting the Nigeria/Niara. You will observe the one major issue that is no being checked is that of the CBN staff sabotaging their own policies. Many of their staff either own BDCs by proxies or have a way syphoning/obtaining Dollars for sale/stashing for late sales at exorbitant rates. Which ordinarily should be an offence. However, because lots of the staff both past and present are involved, they loose the moral ground to check those unethical behaviours. Those are the crop of staff that leak sensitive official mails in other to cause chaos/confusion. 4 Likes |
