If you are here doubting this then I'm almost certain that you are not a soldier. More so, I doubt if you've ever been to the north eastern part of this country, and you have never met anyone who has actually had contact with the BH guys.
I was in Maiduguri as recent as September/October and I came in contact with more than 3 different soldiers, from different locations complaining that they have "overstayed" and are supposed to be back to a different location already. One couldn't even get a visiting permit to visit his family for the last 3 years.
There's no system in Nigeria, let alone one that works perfectly. Get your facts straight guy.

If the DSS could treat the case of Sowore like this, despite the fact that he's got a very high ranking and one of the most respected lawyers in this country.... Please tell me what fate betides an ordinary civilian who ends up in their nest?

Guys, The thing is that I actually wrote the motivation letter myself last year when I applied, but I was denied admission after interview. So I just figured I should submit the same letter again this year while reapplying. Apparently they aren’t having any of that. I first thought I was disqualified when I got the email. But I have the opportunity to resubmit one more time. But I doubt if it won’t count against later on.

This is so true. I just fell victim of this today. I got a response stating that my motivation letter was plagiarized and that it is unacceptable. So guys pls check for plagiarism so that the little things won't be the reason why you won't be admitted. All the best.

Sure. I can send you one. But your best bet is to answer the questions on the motivation to study the course on DreamApply. You could also check Quora for precedent motivation letter. Kindly note that admission office don't take plagiarism likely. So, I would advise you to be mindful of sharing your motivation letter and also run yours by a plagiarism checker online.

Ps: Try to be 100% original. If you're quoting someone, include a citation/reference.
