Hello house, 've just confirmed 4rm my friend working with fsb that they've started calling some UG applicants 4 Egypt and likely those that applied 4 Russia may follow today or by next week. Nothing yet 4 PG applicants as they are still collating and processing their results. Also, likely today they may start calling 4 those that applied for d Nigerian scholarship. I support Miss. Oh yes guys! I must say that my day was awesome. Uyo Centre was fantastic. Thank God i met with some Russian grads who helped to trash out some issues and perhaps rumours about this BEA stuff. BAYELSA had less pg applicants 2day with quite a good number of ug applicants. AKWA IBOM had abt 25 pg applicants including myself with a large number of ug applicants. The entire exercise was peaceful. I give thanks to God 4 making d day a reality, expecting d very best when d results come out. The result this time will come out earlier than expected-fsb staff told me authoritatively. So August is no more relevant as it used to be. Pls 4 ur info expect it this time around June. I'll try to update other issues i got to knw later @ d Centre. Let me thank Mr. Bayo and others once again that wrote meaningful comments here of which we all benefited in d course of the interview. Success to us all!

It saddens my heart to c how most of our PG guys who did their interview today couldn't update the house. My interview wasn't today but i took it upon myself to make sure that i went to Uyo Centre to find out things for every1. I must give thumb-up to d UG applicants like Shimasparkle n odas who tiredlessly updated d forum despite d sterness of d exercise. Anyway, d issue is dat 4 d PG and UG tests they were purely GRE format i.e quantitative, verbal and analogical reasonings plus current affairs. Just read ur books as some of d questions may not be repeating. Pls guys lets encourage ourselves and get out of this once and 4 all. U dn't need to bother urselves with what u r facing nw abt a particular doc, just get urselves to ur various centres and write d test 1st. Success to us all. @house: i got to check things out @ Uyo Centre. These are d issues: *All applicants must b 4rm d designated states slated 4 each day, else u will not be attended to* Strict screening of all applicants' credentials. N/b: based on d checklist provided, d doc presented is marked present, those not available indicated as N/A. *Test will only b given to those that have been able to produce not less than 90% of d basic docs required. * Authentication of docs 4rm both waec and court of d law is very important, esp 4 UG applicants who do not have d original certs. *PG and UG applicants were kept separate, meaning that d test format will b diff tho might still b Maths, Eng. Lang and Current affairs. * Pls gets 2 envelopes 4 d exercise, writing materials etc. Dress neat and simple. More updates will come possibly as d test is abt to commence after d screening now.

I wonder why some people had decided to hijack this thread, thus making it so boring as it is now. Pls, pls, and pls if u don't comprehend effectively what Mr. Bayo and all other well meaning N'landers had said earlier concerning the interview, just quickly take ur phone and call fsb office for better clarification instead of making some comments or even asking questions that are boring and at times setting in confusion OR better still get to d fsb website to read their instructions concerning the interview. To add to what u said earlier having been able to call d fsb contact, post graduate applicants shouldn't bother to authenticate their O'level certificates, rather they should bring d original copy(ies) of their transcripts to d interview. Authentication of Certificates is only for d Undergraduate applicants. Pls note that d test format is written. All applicants should endeavour to bring along to the centre d required docs as stated possibly, but if some docs are not yet ready u clearly state them to d officials. But to be on a safer side work to provide all d items needed by fsb.

@ martcrown, i would suggest that u go to ur school, meet or liase with any good non-academic staff to obtain d transcript 4rm d Academic Record Unit (ARU) 4 u. This is what i did in my own case and it worked, but dnt fail to carry good amt of cash. Incase, u are ask to provide d address of where it will be posted to, check d fsb site 4 it( its just that they'll need it 4 official purpose, but it will be given to u handy ok) gud luck!

As promised, I liaised with someone presently studying in Russia who went through all these processes 2 years ago. Here is what said per Test.

The test is a combination of English Language, Mathematics (Arithmetics) and current affairs
The English session will basically look like WAEC questions
The maths also like WAEC questions
Current affairs deal with history of Nigeria, Geography of Nigeria, Mineral resources location, Industrial location etc
You will be having between 45min to 1hour to answer all questions (He is not sure of the exact time)
All questions are objective
There will be a total question of about 50-60 questions
The test is mainly to test applicants IQ.

So I will advise you all to take with your writing materials to the test centres.

Please note that this was what happened 2 years ago. It does not neccessarily mean that same will happen this year.

It submitted and i've gotten d acknowledgement msg right in my e-mail inbox. @ d oda guys, yes it is true that one must pass d pre-test @ all application levels b4 proceeding further to fill d application form. Yes u can apply cos it is still open if u meet up with d requirements stated by fsb.

Pls house i got an info on how to obtain a transcript 4rm my School. The info is that they'll not give me the transcript at hand but that they would only send it to the institution or organisation i applied to. So i'm really worried cos according to the one of d instructions stated, transcript should be presented right at the point of the interview. Pls, could some1 help me out on the alternative way of getting it done or what i should do? Waiting 4 ur responses pls.

Hey my friend, don't mind MIB 2. I wrote First Bank test with them (Workforce Mgt Centre) last year Feb and to be very sincere to u, it was very successful and impartial. The Assessment Centre exercises @First Academy, Enugu was Wow! FBN attested to d fact that our recruitment process by Workforce was excellent cos they gave them the very best. Finally, i got d job. But let me add here that when u r going 4 dia test, prepare very well cos thousands do fail. But let me also advise u to be focusing well on this Gtb stuff o o, do ur best when invited 4 d interview cos u've gone far on this not to look back. 've followed u guys here even when u didn't write d test cos of one of my friends who is now a trainee @gtb's TS. Anyway, i wish u and ur fellow peeps success. Knw dat TS is ur target and don't prank urself when u get there cos it pains to fail and gains to succeed. Take kia!
