jegak: yes i wrote but it was not easy because of lack of preparation.though time was enough 1hr 50min for 100 questions of 4 sections.function specifics,verbal,analytical and quantitative reasoning.so many people did not attend. the test was high organise one person per seat

Hi friends! Good to know that many issues had already occured here and many guys had already concluded their Ac exercises. My colleague, Xtanburg did a nice job after i started with u guys. My absence here was due to a lot of official engagements day-in and day-out.
Pls let me quickly put this reminder to u:
1. Know that concluding ur Ac exercises is a part of d requirements for u to advance in d recruitment processes of FBN, as more other stages await u. Many pple do fail @ this stage, thus, not moving to the next stage which is d personality test.
2. Personality test has to do with xter or attitude test or appraisal, so u must be consistent with ur xter status when doing this test to avoid xter mix- up. Though it is timed, d test is simple. U can as well take some personality test exercises online to familiarize urselves with it.
3. Documentation/Medical: After d personality test, d nxt stage is Doc/med. Let me assume that u are already here now. What u need to know about this stage is that all ur credentials must be up to date. If u want to use Waec cert make sure ur DOB in d cert is in line with ur birth cert or affidavit to avoid u being dropped. If u are using Neco cert, get ur birth cert and affidavit in place together with ur Secondary School Testimonial plus other credentials and passport photographs to avoid also being dropped. When feeling d forms that would be given to u pls be consistent with ur biodata info and other info cos there is always a verification exercise.
For d medicals, test and check urselves first whether u are medically fit in terms of HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Cardiac disorders etc b4 u proceed to avoid being dropped after all ur labours. When u are certified medically fit, then u are good to go.
4. After these stages, u are then certified trainees of FBN First Academy, Iganmu.
5. Training School: Pls b4 and when u get to Iganmu, i'll talk more on what would be xpected of u @ d training school.
**For that friend that missed his Ac exercises @ Enugu, i'll rather advice u to take ur letter and sms to Lagos Ac exercises next week. When u get there ask of Mr. Morakinyo Olanloye, Mr. Yinka all of FBN Hr Unit or any management staff to explain d situation to, they'll attend to u. Don't be panic, just trust God 4 d best.
To u guys, have fun in ur recruitment processes and always be the first. Good Luck!

My good friend, when u get to Enugu park, board a taxi cab or bus to State Fire Service, on reaching there stop and ask of Fbn training Sch, Nwodo Close within d GRA. The street is opp d fire service. Walk dwn to d end of d street, u'll certainly get to where u are going. U can even rest there @d academy's lodge ahead b4 ur interview date and even eat sumptuous meals. Just be polite to introduce urself to d staff there, then u are gud to go. This was my experience last year there. Gud luck!

We'd appreciate if u'd b kind enuf as to throw more lite on d exercises. 4 instance, wat's d test on? What can we expect during d oral interview and wat r d grp and individual tasks abt? More importantly, wat do u suggest we do in preparatn towards dis 8-10hr marathon.

I hope I didn't ask too many questns. Thanks once again.

Read ur GMAT again cos of d Paper-based test, though not as hard as u may think. Prepare well for d oral interview (just follow d latest format of answering interview questions. Knw urself well and what u've in ur resume). Be ready to interact well with others by contributing salient points in d course of d group task. Don't be a stupid talkative, lol. From here, u get urself set for ur personal task as would be directed by d fbn officials. Do well in packaging ur power point presentation. Be bold to present ur points convincingly to ur interviewer. After the official engagements, back it up with prayers (to God Almighty alone - don't do juju o) lol, thus u are gud to go. Hope others will read and follow this guide. Let me take my rest for 2morrow's engagement. Gud nyt.

shenkron: Helo dear, thanks for the break down, but I have never used a power point in my life. Will this be a flaw even if I do well in all other stages. This. Is. My only. Fear and. I. Dnt knw if there is any remedy to that before the assessment. Anyone in the house with. Useful advice should please help me

My dear friend, if u are gud in computer already, why not make out time to learn power point shortly 4rm a smart person within few days to achieve what u want in life. If u fail to perfect ur presentation on ur day, well, u'll likely be on + or -. This affected most of my friends i knw. So go and pay d sacrifice. Gud luck!

Congrats to the would-be fbn colleagues! Pls note that Assessment Centre Exercises normally takes bw 8 to 10 hours of intensive activities for each set, so tighten ur belt well. Corporate dressing is basically required, so go, get, iron and package ur suit well for ur day. Exercises include: paper basd test, oral interview, group task, individual task and finally presentation of ur task using power point. Pple do fail @ this stage, while others do also fail @ either d doc/med screening stage and Training School finally. Note: if u are using Neco u are @ a higher risk, while Waec is d gogo- u knw what i mean(DOB being carried by Waec cert is the magic). It is not that fbn doesn't accept Neco, but delay is pre-eminent. Pls don't pm me. Just ask ur reasonable questions on this platform. Wishing u success @ d remaining stages of ur career pursuit!

In my own case, it wasn't easy at all if not God. I could recalled how one Chindima Ibeawuchi of FBN HR Dept almost frustrated me because of what she tagged 'SECONDARY SCHOOL TESTIMONIAL' not even the main Certificate i presented to her for my documentation, but God intervened. At times they'll require one silly document that is not even important so as to create spaces for their dirty deals. This goes to show how corrupt and daring most organizations' HR UNITS are when it comes to recruitment issue. May God deliver the ones that repent and damn the ones that do not want to repent.

Congrats to d two UG Russia's applicants called so far in this forum. Pls let me say that as at yesterday in Abuja (@ d News Conference) only UG applicants' nominations were being treated. Anyway, d nomination process continues. 4 PG nothing, i say nothing has been done yet, fingers crossed although d marking has been concluded. So UG guys not yet called, be expectant.
