Religion / My Views On The Pandemic And The Church by GofGs: 3:02pm On Jan 29, 2021
Hello friends,

I have a little observations.

1. With the way things are going with Christianity, it is obvious that many have not learnt anything from the pandemic and its inherent messages to the church.

2. I have not seen any major change yet, and that is what the Lord is looking forward to seeing.

3. Many churches are back to their regular activities that do not trigger people to establishing a functional and irrevocable relationship with God.

4. Due to the way we do things in church, the church has lost its relevance to a large extent. Few people that go to church these days, do so because of guilty conscience which should not be.

5. Some go to church these days because they have one or more roles to perform. This should not be.

6. Most churches have not factored in changes that the Almighty God intended, in order to establish His kingdom in every nation of the world.

7. Anything that is being done in church or ministry these days must be done as instructed by God. If instruction is not coming, dwelling on the last instruction until He brings new perspectives. The message of God for this delicate time like we are in the world right now, is quiet different from what we hear in most churches these days. They are hidden in the Scripture and it will require the Holy Spirit opening your eyes and heart to see them.

I pray that the good God would touch the heart of every leader and believer in His vineyard and cause them to see what His is saying in this time and season to the church in Jesus name.

Family / Re: Seeing Dead Aunty In My Dreams Repeatedly. I Need Any Solutions Please by GofGs: 8:52pm On May 27, 2020
charlesELIKIBA:
HELLP NAIRALANDERS

I will be brief with my writeup as much as possible so I can explain my connection with this lady.

My single mom gave me away at a tender age of 5 to her elder brother (financial difficulties i assume), this ''aunty'' happens to be the wife of this my mother's elder brother.

Aready they had 4 children, all boys.

The home was a tough upbringing with strict rules about socialising, we weren't allowed to bring friends home or go to friends places. It was pretty strict and my uncles wife i would say was the mastermind of it all, she was strict and mean maybe because it was a house of 5 boys.

Growing up in my uncles home, I wouldn't say I was treated diffrently because I always got matching outfits with my uncle's children during christmas, gifts during christmas, same portions of food BUT IN ALL I was always scared of doing somethings my cousins would do. I didn't feel free growing up, i felt diffrent from them. In some cases they attended the best schools than I (but I never attended a govt. school or a bad private school).

It's like if their school fees was 1m naira per term, mine would be 150,000 per term.

I lived with them until I was about 16 or 17 and one morning I woke up and they said i was going back to my mother at 15 or 16 like any kid, you would start to develop conscience (sense), maybe breaking some rules and being stubborn just like their own kids. This I assume was why they wanted to send me back to my mother OTHERWISE I CAN THINK OF NOTHING ELSE I DID WRONG OR DIFFRENT.

In all of these years living with them, I saw my mother as a strange person. I had no motherly connection with her. My anty to me, was my real mother. Whenever we went visiting my mother in very rare occasions, it was always awkward.

Well long story short, I found myself back in my mother's arms, to a new environment i knew nothing about and starting to learn to live with a woman called my mother. I was naive, had no choice but to accept realities on ground. Do you know that feeling of living in a pouch house and wake up next morning in a 1 room surrounded by thick bushes. Yes that was the change.

I was enrolled into a school, my uncle was repeatedly forced to send/ pay my schoolfees until i was in ss3 and i called him to inform him about waec enrolment. He told me on the phone ''all the exams i have been writing, how many have i passed'' and that was it. He never sent a dime anymore meanwhile at this point his children, my cousins were already miles ahead of me suddenly in education. When i left the home, the eldest son went to canada to school, the second who is my agemate was already in a private uni in Nigeria and the 3rd who i am senior to with a year is preparing to go to ukraine for school and years later the last born who i spoonfed and chewed meat for attended uni in Ghana.

Well long story short, since my uncle had failed me. My mother said it was time i go to my father. My father was old retired pensioner. My mother took me to him, as expected awkward encounter. I have never known this man, no memory of him. Well he said he would find my enrolment money and he did, he later passed on a year or two later.

I enrolled waec and pased in one sitting, thanks to miracle centres.

PS: i must say i was never an intelligent student. i wasn't even average but i wasn't the poorest and neither of my uncles children were better. We were all poor educationally.

Long story short another uncle sprang up and paid for my university diploma which i later acquiried.

YEARS LATER my uncle and aunty decided to move back to our home town, please note the home my mother stayed in was this my uncles home. It was the boy quarters, the main house was not even in sight as at the time i was returned to my mother. We did series of bush clearing and snakes killing lol. well my uncle returned home town after retirement and setup the main structure ( a 5 bed room duplex) and thats were they lived while i and my mother lived in the BQ.

I WAS very angry with myself that i happened to still live with them AGAIN, i needed to get out of their sight, my condition was bad. i was a mere teacher to some rickety school. In all of this my uncle's wife always ensured she knew what i was upto and she derived satisfaction when she knew i wasn't doing better than her kids who were all abroad. i turned to their errand boy again after years of neglect. i was very angry with myself and needed to save to get out of the house.

Well i did manage to save up and leave the house and i promised myself never to return to that house. i felt neglected, i felt they sent me away because the goodthings were coming and they couldn't bear to see me share in them because to me they were my parents.

YEARS LATER, my aunty was sick with cancer
please note before i left the home, my uncle and aunty always sent me to travel journeys to get them medicines from a monastry. i attended such trips severally and ran other seperate errands but i never dared to drive their car talkless ask for the key. i always washed their car in the mornings, i would never also dare to see myself in the living room of the duplex with the remote in hand. when they moved back to the hometown, that fear in my childhood started again but this time i was mature enough to know i would never m amount to anything in life if i continued this again hence the reason i needed to move out.

So my aunty sickness grew worse, the husband flew her to india and back but the sickness grew worse. in all of this cancer times i never went back to the house to see her. I only heard of her conditions from my siblings (my half siblings, my mother was married to 3 men in diffrent years and she had only me for my father, another for another man and 3 for another man, i was the lastborn of all).

Then my aunty died. The day she died, i saw her in my dreams and she was crying saying ''she forgave me''. A day or two later i went to my sisters store and she told me of my aunty death, i went to my rented apartment and cried profusely. i later summouned courage and maybe sympathy and went to my uncles house and i cried before my uncle and told him to forgive me too for all abandoning them all this while.

NOW ABOUT MY AUNTY SAYING SHE FORGAVE ME IN THE DREAM: i did not do her any wrong neither did i wish death on her. All her life her greatest fear was maybe i would become greater than her children. She loved these comparisms, i was never wicked to her, i never cursed her, i was never rude to her unless i some instances when she sends me errands and i tell her i have other things to do.... Otherwise i never was negative to her instead she is the one nobody likes, by nobody i mean my uncles family. Nobody talks good of her, they say she controls my uncle and also squandered his money but in all of this i never spoke of my experiences living with them and somethings they did wrong that made me feel diffrent, i did not even tell you guys neither have i told my mother ever. i don't see them as anything that would stop my growth in life. i hate to talk about the bad in people.

WELL BACK TO REASON THE TOPIC WAS CREATED, why do i keep repeatedly seeing her in my dreams even after her death and its always on a negative role. its either in the dream she still plays mother, or she is gossip about me in the dream or she is against me in the dream, just think of anything negative in a dream and she will be the mastermind. This is really beginning to worry me. Why is she still attached to me in the dreams?

After she died, her husband, my uncle started his own sickness but has been sick for years now, he is bed ridden. The family has repeatedly asked him if there is anything he and his late wife did in the past to amount such sickness were he is living in pain but refused to die and he would not answer. One time they said, he said ''it was out of ignorance'' and thats all he ever said about anything.

It will also be good to note that of all my 4 cousin brothers and i today, i am the most successful by far.

i just finished my house (a 3bedroom, 2 bedroom, 1 bedrrom bungalow)
january this year i bought my 3rd car.
i travel round the world effortlessly.
YES I DID TURN OUT FAR BETTER THAN MY COUSINS WHO YOU KNOW HAD THE BEST EDUCATION.

I don't want to talk of their conditions, lets concentrate on me.

So this is my much writeup... I had to skip many things so you can bear to read but please be free to ask me questions.

Why do I repeatedly see my aunty in my dreams.... just before this writeup, i had just woken up from another dream she was present in, she was whispering to the ears of a very good friend of mine and then the friends turned to me and was like '' ah cahrles na so you be''?...and i was angry and was like '' how can you believe something someone you just met told you against i your best friends word'' and minutes later dream ended and i woke up.

At this point i am thinking of going spiritual to know why this is happening but this will be a first in my life. There are two popular places i have never being in my life until lately last year... One is a shrine and the other is a police station. Last year was my first time to be in a police station.
I was driving my unregistered car. That was my offence.

Hello sir, would you like to chat with me. I need to ask you a few questions so as to guide you appropriately. 09090891390
Romance / Re: 3 Weeks To Wedding & I'm Confused! Please Advise Me by GofGs: 1:28pm On May 26, 2020
Donbabaj:
I could be happy now but the next minute, she changes mood all of a sudden. We dated for over year after someone match make us but this mood swing things continued overtime so sometimes I get confused even as i really tried managing the pressure. She's a nice girl, takes good care of me, buys clothes, cooks, always wants me to look good but the problem is the rate which she switches mood easily.

Financially, we are both average earner but I think she earns better pay than me.

For instance, recently we got a new apartment - 2bedroom flat but whenever I say something she doesn't like or she doesn't want to hear, she just reacts like why would I say such a thing. All the while we were dating, we never stayed with each other as we stayed in our parents house. Fast forward* most times, as the man, after switching mood, I try to pacify her by petting and apologising but she doesn't just want to listen.

Just today, we were playing with each other on the bed, touching each other (not sensitive part) and she wanted me to kiss her. So I told her jokingly that "but you know this is not biblical" as an advocate of no sex until after marriage. I have never had sex with her either. The next thing she said, "why are you talking like this" she stood up, went straight to the sitting room and slept there. I went to meet her there to pacify her again but she wouldn't listen.

Please note that I have not and can never beat or abuse her cos I'm a Christian.

I'm just tired. She's really getting on my nerves. Our wedding is 3 weeks time but I dont just know what to do. People, friends and family are already aware of the impending marriage but I'm afraid that if a lady can switch mood like this, who knows what will happen tommorrow. I cant sleep in peace...

Please advice. This is happening right now.

Hello sir, that's the kind of lady I married and we are living happily and blessed with 2 kids (male and female) to the glory of God. I need to ask u few questions. You may chat me up for Godly counsel if u are interested.

Family / Why Do You Need To Write A Will? by GofGs: 10:57am On May 24, 2020
WHY DO YOU NEED TO WRITE A WILL?
In this part of the world, we see writing a Will as a courier letter to death by the writer (testator) because it is usually deemed that whatever makes one to write one’s Will, one will soon die. Therefore, people get generally offended if you ask them whether they have a Will. This shouldn’t be because there is no proof that estate planning through Will or other methods could attract death prematurely. On the contrary, writing a Will shows that one is much organised and highly sensitive to virtually all circumstances around one.
A Will is a legal expression of an individual’s wishes about the disposition of one’s property after death.
Here are a few of the reasons (or advantages) why you need to write a Will
I wouldn’t be able to expatiate as such to avoid boredom and safe time.
1. It displaces the application of the rules of customary law to a person’s estate on one’s death.
2. The testator has a satisfaction of having ordered his affairs before his death, that is, the case of family property which would have resulted upon intestacy would be forestalled. The devise will operate to vest separate and individual interests, not a communal interest upon each beneficiary. It will also specify the quantum of interest of each beneficiary;
3. A Will displaces the application of the rules of statutory devolution, that is, the application of Administration of Estate Law.
4. The testator has the satisfaction of benefiting those one loved or owed a duty of care.
5. The testator has the benefit of appointing people he trusts as his executors, who have the duty to carry out his wish.
6. Trusted persons can be appointed as guardians of testator’s infants (where there is any).
7. Executors of a Will’s power of execution arises immediately upon death of the testator and their power is not contingent on the Will being proved as in the case with issuance of Letters of Administration upon death. Thus, wide powers can be conferred on executors by the testator.
8. It gives the testator the opportunity of making specialty gifts that is, showing generosity to other people e.g. organisation donation for whatever purpose.
9. The testator is given the opportunity to give his funeral directives.
10. It is cost effective.
11. It gives room for identification of assets.
12. It gives inner satisfaction to the testator.

Will and estate planning are extremely important for every adult. Wills are not basically for the elderly. Every adults needs to track his assets and plan ahead.
On the other hand, some people think that writing a Will or estate planning is only for the wealthy. Yet, people at all economic levels benefits from an estate plan. In fact, rancour amongst possible beneficiaries from the absence of Will cuts across all economic and social strata.
Note that writing a Will is not final, as it is subject to amendment or modification which is known as a Codicil in a legal parlance during the lifetime of the testator.

Consider what happens in this scenario:
Romeo died suddenly last year after a serious stroke at age 50. He was a very energetic and sagacious gentleman. Unfortunately, he had no premonition of death. He was unprepared for his transition. Immediately after his death, his brothers dispossessed his wife, Sussan of the house built jointly by both of them. They did not stop at that, they wrote to Romeo’s employers demanding that his final entitlements be paid to them. Sadly, Romeo did not write a Will as he did not expect to die so soon. He died intestate.
Note that this situation purports uncertainty for Romeo’s survivors (that is, Sussan and her children).

They did operate in the Power of the Holy Spirit and they were translated into glory of God's Kingdom by dying as martyrs for the sake of the gospel so that salvation might reach you and everyone including me. It's a mystery that takes some level of spiritual understanding for full comprehension.

It was so because of the gospel. Remember the Lord Jesus our Saviour was also crucified so that the gospel might reach the unreached. You forgot to mention John the beloved who didn't die a matyr.

Spiritual power has levels like in video games too?
Very well but not like video games. That's why you cannot dare some Christians and go scot free because of the level of the Power of Holy Ghost they operate in. That Power is very much available to everyone that receives Jesus and works towards it.
Religion / Spiritual Hard Truth by GofGs: 1:51pm On May 19, 2020
The level of Power you receive on acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour is not enough to see you through the journey of life. You will need to grow spiritually to becoming a son in Christ. Power to get to any length or height you want to attain in God and in life is in Christ. For a man can attain any height (rich or great as men of the world would say) in life and yet in God, he could be a spiritual nonentity and could be easily wasted by the powers of darkness. Power to live above sins and Power to deal with your enemy (the devil) and household wickedness is given unto you if you have Jesus. It must however be activated through rigorous spiritual trainings which the Holy Spirit can take you through if you surrender yourself unto Him.
Every form of perversions and addictions bow when you launch into a spiritual realm that the devil cannot resist. Start learning at the feet of the Holy Spirit.

My brother, I congratulate u for the partial deliverance u have now. However, to have your full deliverance, you still have a lot to do. For instance, you will need to know how to operate in the Baptism of Fire. Not only that, you need to know things that are inconsistent with your destinies which your hands are glued to at the moment. These are just few of what u need to know b4 your full deliverance. I counsel you not to use any drugs. The Power of God shall complete your recovery in Jesus name.

My friend, the first thing is to get God's approval. If you're sure that God is leading both of u into the marriage, then you should start praying that the Lord should confirm it by making both parents consent. God can do anything!
On other hand, if u don't believe in God's leading into a marriage, still pray that God mercy should speak for u. It's not everybody that God leads in marriage and some don't believe in it.
Don't be surprised, God can go out of His way to speak to her father. God can get the attention of anybody anywhere if need be if u pray earnestly about it.
I'm sure u will laugh last.

Is it natural forgetting ones dream(s) before day breaks? I am in my early 30s.

I can't sleep without dreaming either good or bad but it baffles me why I can't or won't be able to remember anything from the dream when I wake up.

There lots of things that could responsible for this. However, I counsel that you improve your prayer life and get yourself to another realm spiritually.
I don't say u shud consult any pastor o because of various things that are going on these days. You can be personally become so close to God as you wish.

uncleck:
The truth is a phrase that has been so abused that it no longer makes any sense. You form your opinion based on your exposure, your biases, your idiosyncrasies, your dogma and your influences, and you tag it "the truth". Can you prove the " truthfulness " of your truth?

Is truth absolute? Is truth relative? Let's learn to use "in my opinion" instead of "the truth" unless the subject matter is universally proven.

Why you are correct to a very large extent, however, the truth need not to have been universally proven. Jesus is the truth, yet He's not accepted by millions of people as the only true God and the Son of God who died and took away the sin of the world. John 1:36, John 18:38, John 8:32.
In essence, the most important thing in this regard is to walk closely with the Holy Spirit and lean not on our own understanding.

Religion / These Are Trying Times by GofGs: 2:12pm On Apr 16, 2020
Listen well, these are trying times and the Lord is looking to and fro the whole universe to see how well we are getting His message individually and collectively.
Do you still love the Lord amidst that is going on?
Do you still call upon Him?
Do you still trust Him?
Are u still in good relationship with Him?
Do you still acknowledge Him and your Lord and personal Saviour?
I give you a piece of advice, irrespective of your belief or denominational affiliation, plug yourself into an irrevocable relationship with God such that you get to understand Him yourself.
God does not deal with men the same way in terms of how they should know Him, walk with Him even though there is a leveller that makes Him impartial as the Bible says.
Therefore, it's the heartbeat of God that everyone should know Him personally.
Many online ministration and activities are going on these days which are not bad in themselves, but how far are they drawing people to God? Things have gone beyond that. Anything anyone does now, should be selfless and point people to a lasting relationship with God. Anything apart from that at this critical period is an effort in futility.
Only the prayer of the righteous can stem the tide of tug of battle for world dominance which is glaring at us.
Remain blessed in Jesus name!
Religion / Re: You Don't Have To Believe! by GofGs: 11:34pm On Apr 13, 2020
I so much appreciate your comments.
God never created man to suffer and that's why He gave His only begotten son JESUS to die for humanity. He doesn't need belief even praises and worship. However, we worship Him because he's the King of kings and Lord of lords. If we can be addressing the President and Governors who are humans like US, how much more the Creator of the universe?
My brothers, that's the whole essence.
Do well to accept Jesus my dearest friends!
Religion / You Don't Have To Believe! by GofGs: 2:14pm On Apr 13, 2020
I just feel like sharing these few words with some friends out there.
God doesn’t need humans’ affirmation to satisfy Himself of His existence. He's very much satisfied with His reality and supremacy over the universe. Therefore, whether you believe or not, He exists and He once sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of humanity and you specifically. It's being a while since He's been knocking the door of your heart. But you keep saying no to Him. When are you going to surrender to your Creator? When are you going to reconcile with the One who will judge all flesh at the end? If you're interested in giving your life to JESUS, just say this word of prayers:
Lord JESUS, I come before you today. I acknowledge myself as a sinner, have mercy on me and forgive my sins. From henceforth, I say bye bye to sins. I become your child today. So help me God.
If you prayed that short prayer, you have become a child of God. Get a Bible and start reading. Invite the Holy Spirit into your life and He shall guide you in all things.
I tell you, Jesus is the ANSWER FOR THE WORLD TODAY!
Religion / Re: How God Allowed Covid-19 In The World by GofGs: 12:28am On Apr 13, 2020
It's a pity that many are very insensitive to what God is saying this time. The reason why the virus or whatever is ravaging the earth now is still raging. Not until the world gets it, it will continue. However, it will not affect everybody. Therefore, we need to continuously ask for His mercies on earth for the preservation of humanity.
Religion / How God Allowed Covid-19 In The World by GofGs: 4:36pm On Apr 12, 2020
WHY GOD ALLOWED COVID-19 IN THE WORLD
Today, we will be considering the pandemic ravaging the whole world at the moment, the reasons why God allowed it to have some effects on the church and what we are to do individually. This is my personal view.
First of all, Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered virus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to a moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.
As at April 2nd 2020, there have been Nine-Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Ninety Eight-Hundred (950,098) confirmed cases of people who have contracted the disease; there is Forty-Eight Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Nine (48,259) confirmed death, resulting from the disease; whilst there is Two Hundred and One Thousand, Five Hundred and Seventy One (201,571) affected persons who have recovered. This is calamitous!
We give God all the glory because the pandemic is not ravaging African countries as it is in other continents (and it will not by the special mercy and grace of the Most High God). This is because if it does, it will be very tragic on the ground that we in the first place, operate a cash economy where everyone handles money and the fact that money goes from hands to hands when doing transaction. This is one of the easiest ways to contract the virus. Secondly, we travel by means of public transportation. Unfortunately, about 5% of Nigerians own private cars. Through public transportation, many could easily contract the disease and if that is the case numerous number of people in Africa would fall victim.
Additionally, we operate an Open Market system where everyone goes to market. If a member of a family contracts it, then everyone in that family would definitely contract same from that one person and thereby becoming pervasive.
Furthermore, a good number of people goes to church in Africa (especially in Nigeria) and by that, the disease would spread faster.
Whilst it is admitted that there might be a conspiracy going on, against the globe; that is, the elites trying to reduce the number of people in the world in order to have a grip on the world, it is our view that for some reasons God permitted it. If God does not permit it for some ultimate ends, that is, to cause His will to be done on earth, then it wouldn’t have stood. Examples like this are plethora in the Bible.
Consequently, the apt question is: why would God allow such on humanity and especially His people? Why would God allow a hold to have been put on the assembly of His people for some days if nothing is wrong? Some are even asking where God is in all these. Better still they ask, does God still exist? I need not delve into the last question whether God still exist or not because God doesn’t need humans’ affirmation to satisfy Himself of His existence.
From the highlighted questions lie many problems with most Christians or believers including our leaders (I mean the Senior Pastors, the Bishops, the General Overseers, the Presiding Pastors, the Apostles and others). Quite some time before now, I have come to know that something is largely wrong with the practice of Christianity in Nigeria and largely in Africa; (by this I do not mean that other folks in other climes are getting it right either). Somehow, it appears that we are not getting its benefits apart from whittling down the operations of darkness in Nigeria.
Someone has challenged the authenticity of the New Year Prophecies which ministers in Nigeria dish out at the beginning of the year. He questioned that why was it that God did not reveal the corona virus pandemic to them? He opined that the prophecies given at the beginning of each year could not then all be from God. Subsequently, he berated those New Year prophecies as not been true, or foretelling, because they have been commercialized. It is our view that whilst this could be true to some extent; however, believers have neither been taught, nor shown how to establish an irrevocable relationship with God; and how to operate in the Law of the Spirit which gives the life of God, to every believer in Christ Jesus, thereby being led by the Holy Spirit as stated in Romans 8:12.
Let me state categorically, that most believers do not welcome a change even if they know that it is coming from God. Once we are used to something, we find new approaches or workings of the Holy Spirit very repulsive. Critically, the truth is that believers resist spiritual novelty or freshness either because we are not in tuned with God and His purpose for each season or that we are not ready to make a change for selfish reasons. In essence, we are too use to the status quo even though we all at one time or the other once said “the only permanent thing in life is a change”. We read the Bible and know that God is unchanging in His purpose, but His methods or approaches change from time to time. Those approaches He intends to change in getting His will done is what we always resist because we are too rigid in world outlook and perspectives. This is the exact conundrum the Pharisees and Sadducees during Jesus earthly ministry found themselves. Unfortunately, we the modern believers have become entangled in that web.
For instance, we are taught of who God and His Son Jesus are, yet we are not flexible. We read about Jesus’ disposition to sinners and the need to bring them to reconciling with their creator, yet we are inflexible.
Our activities have become so rigid that we leave no space for the Holy Spirit since we are “too familiar” with His ways and workings. In all of our activities in Church, an average person can guess all that are going to happen. Where is the flowing River of life? This perhaps makes the question I was asked some years ago relevant in one of my teachings. I was asked that how is it possible for one to prayer for three hours non-stop. The person went further by asking what he would be saying for the next three hours without stopping. This was a person who has spent about ten years in church and yet does not understand the mystery behind praying for long hours through the Holy Spirit.
We have limited the Creator of the universe who gives us His Spirit to change the world and for the purpose of making His will to be done on earth. We have limited the unlimited God by our action and inaction. We have held unto what we only know about Him such that we are not willing to know another dimensions of God through His Spirit; even though we read from the Scriptures that God moves in different unpredictable realities. These are in plethora in the Bible. Yet, we believe that besides those dimensions He once moved in the Bible or the ones we are used to, there could be no other fashion.
These days, the main reason for the death of Jesus Christ is being made of no effect because of what Christianity has become. Some cannot go to church again because Christianity has been become a religion. By the way, I need to say empathically that Christianity is a way of life and by that, I mean the way of life that is in Jesus Christ which is the life of God.
However, religion has replaced God in many people’s hearts. It has become a set of rituals and doctrines dovetailing into idolatry. Church activities, position, money, fame, power, material etc. have taken the place of God in many believers’ hearts. The essence of creatures has been jettisoned and God has to allow this kind of situation; that is, the pandemic to shake the world and get His people back to the track.
Who can ever imagined that churches and worship could be deserted on service days especially on Sundays because of anything? It beats my imagination that God would allow the gathering of His people on service days especially on Sundays to be threatened without His intervention. Nevertheless, I remember that God permitted the Ark to be taken away by aliens when His people rejected Him and sinned against Him in the Scriptures (1kings 5:2).
From the foregoing, it becomes crystal clear that we are either not getting it right somewhere or that we are too at ease such that we don’t get what the Holy Spirit would have us do each season or period. Yet we know the aftermath of not getting it right with God and not being receptive to His Spirit. In the former case, the result has always been that after a while, God becomes weary and He is left with no option other than to take some steps to cause a paradigm shift and in the latter case; it has always been to cause something that will put the people on their toes and if no change is seen, God could bring about massive destruction.
In that case, God is giving all denominations that are genuinely under His supervision to carry-out a holistic restructuring in order to retrace their God-given blue-prints. We need not say the level of atrocities that are going on in each denomination which the Lord knows about. Sadly speaking, little or nothing is being done to avert such atrocities because they have eaten deep into the fabric of many denominations. If some of these atrocities are known, we will wonder whether God is dwelling on our hearts or not.
Aside that, the issue of leadership hierarchy, posting or transferring, church planting, building, budgeting, administration, doctrines etc. are areas that need renovation. These are a tip of an iceberg.
All churches should do a review of all their activities for the good of the Kingdom.
One thing that has become obvious, is the fact that God wants everyone to know Him one-on-one. Many people do not actually know that God prefers that, to anything else.
Individually, we are to seek God. Another way to think about seeking God is the concept of attracting the presence of God. Though some believers have known God through the forgiveness of Jesus Christ for years, they may not be aware of what it means to seek God and what He expects of those called by His name. To be a Christian, is to be a follower, an imitator, of Jesus Christ. We must pursue God, love Him, and serve Him the way our Lord and Savior has modeled for us. Emphasis is no longer being made on this and how to do so.
Seeking after God is not something to be primarily undertaken by non-Christians, but Christians. In about ninety percent occurrences in the Scriptures, the concept of seeking after God is characteristic of believers, not unbelievers. It is an ongoing mindset and lifestyle of those who desire to know, love, and follow God.
As we draw near to God, He draws near to us. As the prophet Azariah told King Asa in 2 Chronicles 15:2: “The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.” God’s presence comes in the person of the Holy Spirit. When we seek Him, He pours out His Holy Spirit into our lives individually and corporately. We can make the presence of God and His will to be on earth as it is in heaven. This is one of the main things the Lord expect from us His children.

The following steps might be useful in seeking God individually:
1: Repentance
Repent if you have not been seeking God fervently and wholeheartedly. Repent of any and every area of your life that has not been consistent with God’s will. Put away anything in your life that is doubtful and that may be displeasing to God.

2. Humility and Fasting
You must continually cultivate humility, making use of the discipline of fasting regularly as well as episodically. The first century church fasted every Wednesday and Friday until 3pm. You can choose any time convenient for you to do so.
3. Fervent and Frequent Prayer
Pray fervently two or three set times per day (worship and praise are a type of prayer). Pray continuously throughout the day. You can always pray in the Spirit whilst on a bus going to office and when coming back to your house. This is highly beneficial.
4. Taking in the Word
Pray and read the Bible on your own or with others two or three set times per day. Cultivate your ability to hear God through the Holy Spirit, dreams, and prophecies etc.
5. Obedience
Obey all the Lord’s commands including the command to love Him with your whole heart and to love others as well. Resolve to live a righteous life. Maintain sexual integrity, and work to reduce and end the evil of abortion. Obey the Spirit promptly.
6. Perseverance
Be focused and diligent in your seeking after God. Persevere in your hunt for God, month after month, year after year.
7. Know God one-on-one
The is the very crux of my write up. God tired of all our attachment to the church without having any connection with Him. See John 4:21, 23-24. He is demanding that YOU know Him personally beyond what you have heard about Him. This is what is of utmost importance to God right now.
In conclusion, be a true worshipper. Let your worship be from your heart rather than your lips. God is teaching the whole a lesson as well as individual. Clear yourself before God through His Son Jesus Christ and be right standing with God as this is one of the main reasons why God allowed the disease to have its way in spite of what might be the intention of the conspirators. If we don’t get the message that the Lord is passing to the world now, continents, countries, families and individual clearly and obey, something more terrible may occur.
On the cessation of the pandemic, take solace in Christ and be rest assured that the Lord has arrested it because of you and me.
God bless you!
Religion / How God Allowed Covid-19 In The World by GofGs: 4:24pm On Apr 12, 2020
WHY GOD ALLOWED COVID-19 IN THE WORLD
Today, we will be considering the pandemic ravaging the whole world at the moment, the reasons why God allowed it to have some effects on the church and what we are to do individually. We pray that God minister to your body, soul and spirit as you listen in Jesus name.
No one has a full grasp of what is really wrong or right with this government. However, the Almighty God does. So, I pray that the Lord Himself execute judgement on those doing the wrong things against this country in Jesus name. AMEN!

Sometimes I wonder when people begin to say different things as regards the existence or non-existence of God (Psalms 53:1). What most of us fail to understand is that God does not need the affirmation of anyone to satisfy Himself of His existence. He is neither a dictator nor does He coerce anyone to believe in Him. Ever since He created man in the Garden of Eden, He has given him power of choice (Genesis 3). So, anyone can choose to serve Him or otherwise. Come to think of it, all this while that many have been saying all sorts of things against Him He has never reacted or visited any with evil on that ground. Rather, He shows more love and endurance. The Bible says that God is long suffering and He is not interested in the death of any sinners, but that all should come to repentance (Matthew 3:8, Luke 5:32).
In essence, I am here to tell someone not to give up on his/her situation in life. Although it appears God has forgotten you or that He can not do what He has said He would do. He would definitely do it (2 Peter 3:9).
However, He is near than you can ever imagine. All that He now wants from you is that you move your relationship with Him to another level. Begin to operate at an higher level of the Holy Spirit and you will see Him manifest His Power in your life. That issue you want Him to resolve, those situations that are demoralizing are getting resolved. However, get to another level of the spirit, mountain top and change your spiritual gear (John 4:24, Ephesians 6:10).
Remain blessed in Jesus!

I think what is most important in Christianity is not debating or arguing over how any pastor is being addressed by his members. The most important thing is our relationship with God. I suggest we all have cordial relationship with God and be in tune with God in order to fulfill our purpose in life.
