I think the invitation for screening is based on the online application and not slip submission because I submitted my slip on Friday afternoon even though the man I met insisted that submission has ended but I still got d message dis morn.
As per the list, as at 1.00pm or thereabout wen I left Inec office, Alimosho at Ikotun. There was no list pasted

Good day everyone, I applied for the adhoc staff stuff, actually I did the 2011 election at ikeja LGA and was a PO then. I couldn't submit my slip at ikeja cos I was told it has closed. I reside in Ayobo/ipaja LCDA under alimosho LG in lagos. I just received the INEC text now inviting me for the screening. My question is thus, should I honour the text and go to my LG of residence for the screening since I didn't submit the slip in alimosho LG because am currently in Ibadan now. I don't really wanna waste my time travelling because am not sure if my name was even in the list people say they pasted at the LGA. Pls anyone in alimosho or whoever has an idea should kindly reply me. Thanks

Ok..Good day, this is my story, I have a lil bro (step bro) in the US, he got married 2months ago to a lady he met online while he was still in UK( the lady filed for him through the fiancee visa and they got married in US) and has just gotten his green card. Pls I want to know if he can file for me through the family preference immigrant visa but I read he has to be a US citizen first since he is currently a legalised permanent resident(LPR)?. Secondly how long will it take for his LPR to be converted to US citizen?. Lastly can both him and his wife submit financial documents to support the immigration process?.. Thanks and God bless

Pls I need ur advice o, still tryin to look 4 options abt my sponsorship o, am also thinkin of using my mum's dad(grandpa) as one of d sponsor, but he is big time farmer, but the issue now is dat, he only generate his income frm farming and he has various hectares of farms. Pls is it possible to use him as sponsor and wat documents can I drop to support dis since he's a big time farmer.
Secondly wat documents do my mum need to drop just to show she's his daughter.
I need ur suggestions.

Thanks man, my dad has steady income, he retired from nnpc, has a small biz,has a guest house and he's also a politician, I think I will tell him to do it that way, so u think he should write a letter to that effect, stating dat he kept d mony in d acc for my sch expenses?, how do u think the letter should look like, @all suggestions also needed, thanks

Good day, pls do u think if my dad as my sponsor lodges money which is equivalent of tuition and living expenses into an account either current or dorm acc, do u think d embassy would accept it, if dats true, do u think my dad still need to present his statement of bank acc as an evidence of his sponsorship, this is because am expecting some money and I won't want d embassy to say the money was lodged into d acc in a day because am gonna apply this april, I need your various suggestions, I don't know if anybody ever done it before.

Pls I am currently planing on applying for d visa come april, pls I will like to know if the reference letters, recomendation letters and the letter of consent can be addressed to the canadian embassy while writing them, or it is not compulsory to be addressed to the embassy, this is because I want to tell my former employee and my dad to address the letter to the embassy.pls I need ur comment on this one
 Secondly, do I still have to certify the coloured photocopy of the original documents I am planing on submitting or I should simply make a normal(black nd white) photocopy and then certify them at a high court.

1) didn't your uncle provide sources of income, because u didn't indicate it.

2)the land documents u submitted, was it C of O, becaause my mum and dad(sponser) doesn't have C of O

3) i heard we are to prove what we are doing or involved in, like a job or something, did u submiit any documents to prove that you are working since i just finsh my NYSC dis year june and i am not working yet,because i am planing on applying nxt year. did u show it?

please how did you prove tht our 2:2 is equivalent to their 2.5 grade? Thanks

i told them they can't compare their GPA of 2.5 which is Also 70% to ours because 70% of our GPA system is approximately first class, therefore it is not possible to say their minimum requirement is first clAss.
I Also told them that we use a british educational grade system where "class of degree e.g ist class, 2.1, 2.2 e.t.c is usuAlly compAred with a range of canadian GPA, where our first class is equivalent to their GPA of about 3.5, our 2.2 is equ to their GPA of 3.0 and our 2.2 is equ to their GPA of 2.5.
My program academic chair finally told me he discovered that they can directly compare our percentage marking. In my case I made gpa of 3.09 and he calculated it to be 57% whch is not same as their 70%,
It was a eAsy task, they finally reconsidered my application rejection and finally gave me the admission, u just gotta let them know o

-since u would one day inherit yr mother's property,u can submit hers also,not as a source of income but of family ties.
-I am afraid u hv to tell them what u hv been doing since u graduated.This might be where the decision to give study permit or not lies.

  thanks for that, can i submit a document from a bore hole drilling company indicating that i am currently under going a bore hole drilling training, something like an apprenticship training which will last for like 8 months since i don't have a job yet, just to indicate that i am currently involved in something.

secondly, alternatively,can i submit employment letter from a secondary school indicating that am a teacher been paid stipend and their is very small money in my acc, all na format o, it is my mum's friend school sha

lastly, can i just submit a document from my dad indicating that i am currently managing my dad's guest house but their is no evidence of been paid salary o,
@all i need your suggestions on this o, i need to prove to them that i am involved in something but i would prefer the borehole training stuff since it does not involve been paid.let me know if it is possible

@monie, i will be coming to SAIT too for the BAPT program, i had a tough time proving to them that our 2.2 is equivalent to their GPA 2.5 so i got the admission for the winter 2012 late.i deffered to fall 2012, i am currently trying to prepare my docs, your help will be needed

everything is gonna be alright, i know so.my school SAIT has refused to make a final decision and send me an admission letter since i applied on august 1 for the BAPT program for winter 2012.i wonder how they expect me to apply for visa when the adm letter finally comes,
