Which deparment were you invited for?

It's really as have been said. Nobody knows anything here in CNL. I did medicals a year ago last week. The way we were been hurried then to fly to Lagos for medicals, I thought we would resume immediately. I contacted the person that was liaising with us during medicals but he is also unaware. He says what I know, is what he knows. The slight assurance he gave me was that they would get back to us, whether or not the recruitment is concluded or cancelled. I don't know what's happening at HQ, my only hope right now is God.

I never painted anyone negative or bad oga, personaly, I got information from a reliable source in chevron, why the recruitment may or may not be cancelled, he dosen't have a source, he just gave an opinion based on certain global facts, while telling us all to stop spreading false news. So we should leave news from verifiable, authenticated sources and follow his?

This isn't hearsay but an accurate reflection of things now. There definitely has to be a strong business justification to increase headcount when other regions aren't doing so presently. If the recruitment was concluded way before the re-org in July 2025, it would probably have been better.

A former colleague currently at Chevron EGTL now.

My contact said, they'll investigate the recruitment, they got some hotlines that it was fraudulent.

I suspect that is the case. The interview invites were actually sent weeks ago, from my findings interviews started as early as 15, January. ALL may have been invited. If you check glassdoor, you will see people even giving their reviews for interviews for some roles

Maybe I should tell you how this started, I've stated it before but I will again, He expects me to have attained a level of spirituality which I'm not interested in, so whenever he sees me in church he would remind me to come for activities that would aid my spiritual life but I ain't interested in all that shit, seeing that I didn't bulge, each time I'm in church , whether I'm close or far away from him, he always ensure he calls my name or greets me, I could be having conversations with two of my friends,he will call only my name and pass to show he's greeting me ..Sometimes I feel embarrassed for my friends cos I believe he's supposed to greet all of us and not just me...
So because of these actions I began to grow fond of him...I won't lie sometimes I steal glances at him in church and our eyes meet, but I always shrug it off..

I don't really discuss anything confidential with him, and our talks have always been in the front of others...there's nothing more to all of that asides the unusual feeling I'm having...

Recently, we had a chat about an issue that concerns someone else in church and I gave my opinion about the matter, after our conversation ,we said the usual good nights and I want to use the normal hands emoticon to indicate goodnight, mistakenly (God's my witness) I pressed the lips emoticon after goodnight, it was so embarrasing.
But I left it that way cos it was a mistake and never ever intentional.

This is just help post to help innocent Nigerians from falling victim to a platform like Roqqu. Thtey are scammers. They locked all their social media pages to prevent their customers from making complaints. They have the worst customer service reps. I made a withdrawal since the beginning of this month and they have refused to pay me.

I have learnt from my mistakes but this post is a warning to other innocent Nigerians like me.

I am currently teaching in a private school in Lago, earning a little above 50k. But i have so many tech skills, graphic designs, machine learning, python programming, and some more.. i also develop mobile apps (android and ios), am also a professional keyboardist, i basically play for money.

The thing is, each time am in the school, i feel am wasting my time there, i have asked some people for counsel, they said i should still hold on till i start making good money from my skills.

I strongly feel i have to leave and focus on my Tech biz..

But still kinda confused..
