Let me tell you the truth, you can never have enuff! the more you save, the higher the budget goes. I just wedded like 4 months ago. I honestly wanted a low profile wedding cos it was kinda rushed. i planned on paper and came up with 250k for d low profile wedding. But you know what happened? it shot up by a hundred percent. I ended up spending like half a milla and it was low profile- all because i wanted to satisfy people. People who will immediately vanish after the wedding, drop you like a hot cup of coffee! So broda man, just be yourself. Dont bend to people. CAter for the absolutely necessary things and be a MAN. Its only a day and you'l survive. Cheers and congrats in advance. I share the same apprehension about a banking career. I have gotten three job offers from banks(two from the same bank) but i turned them down cos of what the job does to ones personal life. Just last week, I got another offer from oceanic to start at a somewhat advanced level. This time am confused; not just because of the attractive pay packet(which incidetally almost triples my current allawi), but because its like destiny keeps throwing these bank offers at my face and I keep rejecting them.

My conclusion remains the same though for the poster: Get a more satisfying job first, then flee with you tail in between ya legs! Good luck

Am holding off 'cos my cousin is out of town. Figure its not a phone conversation thing. reason why i posted this here is 'cos my friends insist i should just stop chatting with the girl( which I have), and let it just be. Their arguement is that time will tell in the long run. My going to my cousin will most certainly break up their relationship and may likely cause enmity between us too.

So what I have decided to do is to get together wyt my cousin, explain things to him without mentioning any names, gauge his reaction, then based on his reaction, i'll tell him or not.
