Tinubu helped people to power 'singlehandedly' and became their godfather. Problem is that Tinubu is one man and should not wield power made for many alone. Reason is that power requires effective checks else it soon corrupts.

We the people are now jointly the Godfather. We bring people to power and check their activities. This is the revolution. Anyone that cannot be 'managed' by the people is not fit to serve the people.


Why do you think the National Assembly is there, eh? Answer is simply, to checkmate the excesses of power. The problem is however that people handling affairs there are compromised.

Good thing about the ongoing political revolution is that we are employing people that we can sack(afterall, na we be their muscle). We are giving ordinary people from among us the mandates to serve. And, not the usual case of the elite and their descendants lording it over us from age to age as if it's their inheritance. These being privileged individuals who have hijacked the system and made it difficult to deliver it from their hold all for their personal gain(when no be personal property).

Unlike other political platforms that have structures and strongholds that make it near to impossible to sack a politician once employed. Whether performing or not. Obidients employ those they can reprimand and sack if need be.
No more individual godfathers, the people are jointly the godfather now. Therefore the people can fire and hire their leader. Without this check in place, power will be seen to quick be turned on the people.

Any politician whose 'structures' and strongholds are so consolidated and is impregnable is unfit to serve the people for such defense's are against the people built. These are indicators of a tendency to serve self and not us.

A classic example of what I speak is the fellow that is clearly unwanted but forcing himself on us currently.

If a single man can subvert the will of the many, then, the many should never put themselves in the will of such a man. This is absolutism or something worse.

LP fields a very strong Frontline but Midfield, Defence and Wingers are next to negligible. Reason it was easy to arm-wring them out of an obvious win.
